Supermodel Elle Macpherson is discussing a cancer diagnosis she received seven years ago and how she refused to do traditional treatments despite medical recommendations. The 60-year-old celebrity is opening up about what happened in advance of her new book, “Elle,” which is being released in November. “It was a shock, it was unexpected, it was confusing, it was daunting in so many ways,” Macpherson told The Australian Women’s Weekly of being diagnosed with breast cancer. “And it really gave me an opportunity to dig deep in my inner sense to find a solution that worked for me… I realized I was going to need my own truth, my belief system to support me through it. And that’s what I did.” Despite the model’s doctor recommending a mastectomy with chemotherapy, radiation, and hormone therapy, Macpherson opted for “an intuitive, heart-led, holistic approach” instead, which earned her mixed reactions from family members. “I realized I was going to need my own truth, my belief system to support me through it,” she told the outlet. “And that’s what I did. So, it was a wonderful exercise in being true to myself, trusting myself and trusting the nature of my body and the course of action that I had chosen.” “I chose a holistic approach. Saying no to standard medical solutions was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. But saying no to my own inner sense would have been even harder,” she wrote in her book. My children were extremely supportive in their different ways but I knew they felt very scared.” “Arki was really supportive,” she continued. “He didn’t agree with what I was doing … Yet he wrote to me to tell me how proud he was of the courage I was showing. Over the weekend, we got absolutely horrifying news: Six Israeli hostages, including one Israeli-American whose parents spoke at the Democratic National Convention, were executed by the terrorist group Hamas. It’s not just that the bodies of the hostages were found; it’s how they were found. You’ll recall that last week Israel freed a Bedouin Muslim Israeli citizen who was found in one of the terror tunnels. At just about that time, Hamas terrorists shot to death those six hostages, who had been held in captivity since October 7, over 300 days ago. They were held in darkness, in captivity, in conditions of torture. And then they were shot point-blank in the back of the head. The absolute horror of that — keeping these six hostages alive for over 300 days and then shooting them point-blank in the back of the head — underscores how deeply evil Hamas is. It’s easy to forget how evil Hamas is because October 7 was almost a year ago. Everyone was shocked by the murderous, rape-filled rampage Hamas did that day — the taking of hostages, including babies who are still being held hostage right now the rampant executions and rape. The entire situation turned into war because the Israeli Defense Force went into Gaza in order to dismantle Hamas, in order to destroy their infrastructure, in order to take over the Philadelphi Corridor (which is the border between Israel and the Gaza Strip), in order to take over the Netzarim Corridor, which runs across the middle of the Gaza Strip, and establish military control. A lot of talk turned to how Israel was prosecuting the war. Could they do it faster? Could they do it quickly? Could they do it more humanely?  Meanwhile, everyone ignored just how evil Hamas is. And that reminded people that these are human monsters who are willing to hold hostages for over 300 days and then shoot them point-blank in the head to prevent them from being liberated. The IDF got close to rescuing the hostages and now Hamas is boasting that they murdered the hostages because the IDF was getting close. This is what Hamas does. This is why Yahya Sinwar, the head of Hamas who is hiding underground right now, has surrounded himself, according to reports, by upward of 20 hostages, presumably including women and children, hoping that Israel will leave him alone because otherwise he’s going to threaten to shoot the women and shoot the children. After the hostages were executed, Hamas, just to add insult to injury, decided that they were going to release hostage videos of the six people they murdered. And they are heartbreaking. There has been contemporaneous documentation found in the terror tunnels in which Hamas explains what they are attempting to do; to be so brutal and so vicious and so evil that it creates serious political schisms within Israeli society. As Netanyahu has pointed out, on one side you have a free democracy that is allied with the West and on the other side you have the world’s worst terror group. But somehow the West has found a unique way to decide that that the terror group deserves compassion, deserves concession, deserves some level of recognition and decency, when in reality, every member of Hamas up to and including the leadership, deserves nothing but death because that is what they have brought upon themselves through their violation of basic human norms and standards of basic human decency. The notion from the West that Israel is the one that needs to be pressed to make concessions to the terrorists is totally insane and speaks to an ulterior political motive on the part of Americans and Britons who are pushing this sort of nonsense. The reality is the only way to win a war is to actually win the war. The reason the West has not won a major war since World War II is because it has forgotten that basic notion — that the way to win a war is to win the war. When the West wins, it’s not because there is some sort of peace agreement that is signed, it’s because its enemies are utterly defeated. The fact that the West is even considering leaving Hamas in place or creating a “Palestinian state,” which would immediately be run and staffed by the very same people who are currently holding hostages along with their best friends in the Palestinian Authority and Islamic Jihad, is totally insane. The narrative you’re hearing from the Biden-Harris administration is that Netanyahu has made no concessions to Hamas. There are actions that the United States could have taken to bring pressure on Hamas. Joe Biden has done virtually none of them. All of it derives from the leftist narrative that there is some sort of moral equivalence or parity in all human relations, which means that when someone is evil — the more you believe in moral relativism, if you believe that it’s just a matter of perspective — then what that means is that the more evil you are, the more there must be a justification to your evil, because otherwise you wouldn’t be evil. If you are a moral relativist, the way that the Left is when it comes to these matters, then your belief is the more evilly you behave, the more you have been victimized. The victim/victimizer matrix is undefeated in terms of stupidity and immorality. Take a look at the headlines from the legacy media over the murder of the six hostages. CNN: “Israeli-American hostage has died.” “Has died?” Did he die of old age? Is that what happened? Was it cancer? Here’s what actually happened to Hersh Goldberg-Polin. On October 7, he was at the Nova Festival. He had his arm blown off by Hamas. They then sawed off his arm. They kept him alive for 300 days and then they shot him point-blank in the head. BBC: “Israel says bodies of six Gaza hostages recovered.” What happened to them? Is that irrelevant? Sky News: “Israeli hostages confirmed dead after Army finds six bodies in Gaza.” Imagine for a moment you’re at a music festival. You are taken hostage by the world’s worst vicious human beings. You are held alive underground for 300 days with the shred of hope that maybe the IDF would find you. And then as the IDF comes close, Hamas puts you down and they shoot you in the back of the head. But the headline from the legacy media is they somehow just randomly died, as if they died in a car accident. Joe Biden’s initial response to the six hostages being murdered? “Earlier today, in a tunnel under the city of Rafah, Israeli forces recovered six bodies of hostages held by Hamas.” That’s rich, coming from him, because Israeli troops would have been in Rafah in February or March if it had not been for the Biden administration, which withheld munitions from the Israelis to prevent them from doing operations in Rafah. Israel kept saying they needed to go into Rafah to go get the hostages and to extirpate Hamas. Meanwhile, Biden warned that a major Israeli operation in Rafah was a “red line” that could cause him to cancel arms to support Israel. In March Harris said, “We have been clear in multiple conversations and in every way that any major military operation in Rafah would be a huge mistake,” adding that there would be “consequences” if Israel went into Rafah, as National Review pointed out.  The reason Hamas did not want Israel to go into Rafah was because it is a Hamas stronghold. They did not want Israel to shut down the terror tunnels to Egypt. They did not want Israel to find hostages and free them. Biden, because he’s a cretin both intellectually and morally, was asked on Monday — as he made his way back after 17 days of vacation being a useless moldering corpse at the beach —  about the so-called cease-fire deal. He was asked if it was “…time for Prime Minister Netanyahu to do more on this issue? Do you think he’s doing enough? Biden declared, “No.” Every shred of blood is on Hamas’s hands. They just executed hostages. And Biden’s first response was that Netanyahu needs to do more? Does he understand what kind of damage he just did?  Not likely, he’s a dangerously immoral moron. Country star Jason Aldean told young fans at his concert that if they don’t like “s**t” happening in the country they have to get out and vote in the 2024 election.
