iPhone 16 Pro could finally get true fast charging speeds

Apple might finally bring iPhone 16 Pro charging speeds to modern days. After years of 20W maximum charging power, ITHome reports that Apple wants to double this amount to 40W in a wired connection and 20W using MagSafe. Currently, all iPhone models from 13 to 15 can charge 50% in around 30 minutes with a 20W charging adapter. Now, the publication says Apple wants to compensate for the increased battery capacity for the iPhone 16 Pro with better charging speeds. At this moment, it's unclear how fast users can charge the new phones, especially now that Apple has added many new features to help increase the iPhone's battery lifespan. With iOS 18, for example, iPhone 15 models will offer granular control of how much they can be charged, which will increase the battery's life in the long run. Image source: José Adorno for BGR This report corroborates other rumors that iPhone 16 models, except for 16 Plus, will get bigger battery capacities. According to a Weibo leaker, the iPhone 16 Pro Max could be equipped with a 4,676 mAh battery that is no longer L-shaped “due to the redesign of the internal structure.” With that, Apple would jump from the 4,422 mAh battery of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. A similar increase could be expected for the regular iPhone 16, as it’s rumored to feature a 3,561mAh battery, while the iPhone 15 has a 3,349mAh battery. For the iPhone 16 Pro, Apple would jump to 3,355 mAh against 3,290 mAh from the 15 Pro. That said, these are the expected battery capacities for all new models: 16: 3,561mAh 16 Plus: 4,006mAh 16 Pro: 3,355mAh 16 Pro Max: 4,676mAh Leaker KosutamiSan believes Apple will improve battery life on the next generation of iPhones by adding a graphene thermal system to improve cooling. They wrote on X: "Apple is actively working on the graphene thermal system of iPhone 16 Series to solve the existing heating problem. And the batter of Pro series would change to a metal shell for the same reason." Below, you can learn more about iPhone 16's latest rumors. Peanut Butter Rice Krispies Treats

Peanut Butter Rice Krispies Treats

Peanut Butter Rice Krispies Treats are the ultimate childhood favorite. This recipe is special because it keeps the treats gooey and soft! PERFECT GOOEY PEANUT BUTTER NO BAKE TREAT My Mom is a peanut butter nut (pun intended!) She loves peanut butter cookies, and of course, she couldn’t pass up the chance to put peanut butter in Rice Krispies treats. When you grow up eating things a certain way, you just become accustomed to it. So now, this is the only way I like to eat them. I think my particular recipe for these 5-ingredient Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats is the absolute perfect balance between chewy and crunchy and peanut butter. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: Can I use other cereals with this recipe? I have made this recipe with the store brand cereal, marshmallows, butter and peanut butter and these treats still turn out delicious. You do not need to use name brand. Also, Cocoa Krispies work perfectly with this recipe too! They’d be a fun chocolate and peanut butter flavor combination that we know so many people enjoy. What if I want a thinner bar? If you prefer a slightly thinner Rice Krispies treat, use a 9×13-inch baking dish instead of a 9×9-inch baking dish will do the trick. What else can I add to these? Options are endless here guys. Over the years, you know you’ve made thousands of these things. You can add sprinkles, top with any baking chip like white chocolate chips, peanut butter chocolate chips, mini chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, etc. You can add crushed candies into the mix. Additionally, you could melt some chocolate and pour it over the treats before you cut them. You know the deal, you can get creative and add anything you like the flavor of peanut butter with! Why did my Rice Krispie Treats with Peanut Butter turn out hard? Usually this happens if you used too much heat. Using low heat to melt the butter and marshmallows is key. I know it can be tempting to turn up the heat to speed up the process but that’s risky. You could burn the butter, marshmallows or just make hard treat bars and nobody wants that! Just take the time you need to make these correctly. Can I make these in advance? Of course you can. Just be sure to hide them well so you don’t end up eating them all before you plan to serve them. Just kidding, you can make them up to a day in advance and store them appropriately. It is worth mentioning that these do taste best the day that you make them, but they do make a good make ahead treat if needed. How so I store Rice Krispies treats? As with all Rice Krispies treats, they are best eaten the day they are made.Store in an airtight container if you don’t eat them all the same day. I like to warm them up in the microwave for about 5-10 seconds when they start getting a little stale. INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (SEE RECIPE CARD BELOW FOR THE FULL RECIPE) salted butter mini marshmallows– I used a 10-ounce bag which equates to about 5 cups. creamy peanut butter– if you prefer crunchy, this would work also vanilla extract– don’t panic if you’re out, these will still taste delicious if you have to omit this extract. Rice Krispies cereal HOW TO MAKE PEANUT BUTTER RICE KRISPIES TREATS: Spray a 9×9-inch casserole dish (or 9×13-inch for thinner bars) with nonstick cooking spray or line with parchment paper (for easier removal.) In a large sauce pan or pot, melt butter on low heat. Do this slowly so the butter does not burn. Once butter has melted, keep heat on low and add mini marshmallows. Once marshmallows begin to soften and melt, add peanut butter. At this point, you will need to constantly stir the mixture so the peanut butter does not burn and the marshmallows can evenly melt (this won’t take too long – just a couple of minutes). Once, mixture is combined and melted, turn off heat and remove pan from stove. Stir in vanilla extract. Add Rice Krispies cereal to sauce pan and stir until evenly coated with mixture. This is sticky stuff so do your best to get it all combined. Add Rice Krispies cereal to sauce pan and stir until evenly coated with mixture. This is sticky stuff so do your best to get it all combined. Pour mixture into casserole dish (it will look very loose). Spray your hand with some nonstick cooking spray and pat down the mixture gently so it is evenly spread out. Allow 30-45 minutes for treats to set up. Then slice into bars. Serve and enjoy when ready to dig in. CRAVING MORE RECIPES? Sylvester Stallone Turns 78 As His Rarely-Seen Daughter Pays Tribute On Social Media

Sylvester Stallone’s 26-year-old daughter, Sistine Rose, went all out for his 78th birthday as she penned a heartfelt tribute on social media. She shared beautiful memories spanning from her childhood with the screen icon to a recent shot of them playing golf together. Captioning her snaps, Sistine called Stallone the “greatest” father, adding that she feels lucky to be his child. Stallone also received from well-wishers, including his former rival actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who called him an inspiration. Sylvester Stallone turns 78 and gets a sweet tribute from his daughter Sistine Instagram Although Sistine is rarely seen relative to her celebrity parents and older sisters, she stars on their reality TV show, The Family Stallone, which gives a peek into their lives beyond the spotlight. Sistine, along with her siblings Sophia and Scarlet, admitted that Stallone is a doting father, which has become overbearing in their adult lives. RELATED: Sylvester Stallone Inspired A Key Part Of Fonzie, Says Henry Winkler Stallone confirmed their claims, saying he hopes they remain spinsters for life and stay home with him and his wife, Jennifer Flavin. Sistine said dating has been difficult due to his intimidating demeanor, which likely explains why suitors never return after their first time over. In her words, he is as scary as he is protective. Instagram Working at 78 As Stallone grows older, the question of his retirement becomes more prevalent. However, it appears the film legend has no intentions of leaving the spotlight yet. While promoting the much-anticipated Cliffhanger sequel at last year’s Cannes Film Festival, he confessed that he was considering retiring only to take on more work. Instagram True to the accolade received from Arnold, who called him an inspiration, Stallone did pass on his flair for acting to Sistine, who made her debut in 2019’s 47 Meters Down: Uncaged. She has starred in a few productions alongside her modeling career that began in 2016. Sistine has worked with the likes of Chanel, Love Magazine, and Vogue, which promoted her as a “fresh face to watch out for” years back. Reality TV: Survival Style

By the author of Be Ready for Anything and the online course Bloom Where You’re Planted Most preppers don’t live out in the boonies without television, internet, satellite, or some kind of streaming system for entertainment. Lots of us enjoy kicking back and watching a movie or program, particularly if we can tie it in with our lifestyle. We’ve talked about choices for your prepper movie marathon and series to binge-watch, but what if you’re looking for something non-fictional?  Forget the overblown shows that are designed to make us all look like fruitcakes. Check out some programs that showcase real survival skills. When I asked you recently what your favorite things to watch were, I was looking more for fictional stuff. But it turns out, preppers like reality TV – just not shows about shallow characters like the people merely famous for being super-rich or people competing for the chance to marry somebody they don’t even know. We like our reality shows to actually be…well… reality. Your Favorite Prepper/Survival Reality TV Shows Here are some of your top picks for reality TV, survival style. Frontier House Frontier House, a six-part hands-on history series, took three modern-day families back in time to live like the 1880s homesteading pioneers in Montana. The families headed west in May 2001 and resided there until October, with just the tools of the period at their disposal. Throughout their historic adventure, the families’ trials, triumphs, simple pleasures, and daily rigors were revealed. (via PBS) You can watch it on YouTube – here’s a link. Pioneer Quest: A Year on the Prairie Pioneer Quest follows two couples as they assume the lives of early settlers to the West and spend one year living as 1870s pioneers on the Canadian prairie. Using only the resources and tools of the period, they will attempt to build homes, raise livestock, hunt, and grow crops. No running water. No electricity. No modern conveniences. Stream it here on Amazon Prime. SOS: How to Survive “SOS: How to Survive” presents gripping true stories of people who suddenly find themselves in a life and death battle with the elements. Survival expert Creek Stewart and his team show viewers innovative skills that teach us how to make it out alive. (via The Weather Channel) This show is available on YouTube. Townsend’s This is a channel on YouTube about 18th-century living and cooking. Some great skills can be learned from watching the program. Find it here. Cyclone Tracy On Christmas Day 1974, the eye of Cyclone Tracy ripped through Darwin. Over 100 people were killed, 20,000 were left homeless, and 80 percent of the city’s buildings were destroyed. It was the worst natural disaster in Australian history. This miniseries is available from Amazon Prime. Tales from the Green Valley In this BBC documentary series, we get to follow a small group of historians and archeologists as they recreate farm life from the age of the Stuarts. They wear the clothes, eat the food and use the tools, skills, and technology of the 1620s for one year. Find it on YouTube here. Tudor Monastery Farm Historian Ruth Goodman and archaeologists Peter Ginn and Tom Pinfold turn the clock back 500 years to the early Tudor period to become tenant farmers on monastery land. It’s available on YouTube. Wartime Farm Historian Ruth Goodman and archaeologists Alex Langlands and Peter Ginn face up to the challenges of the biggest revolution ever seen in the history of the British countryside as they turn Manor Farm back to how it was run in the Second World War. When Britain entered the war, two-thirds of all Britain’s food was imported – and now it was under threat from a Nazi blockade. To save Britain from starvation, the nation’s farmers were tasked with doubling food production in what Churchill called ‘the frontline of freedom’. Find it on YouTube. Victorian Farm Victorian Farm is a British historical documentary TV series in six parts first shown on BBC Two… The series recreates everyday life on a farm in Shropshire in the mid-19th century, using authentic replica equipment and clothing, original recipes, and reconstructed building techniques. This program is on YouTube. Mountain Men Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live your life off the grid? Have you wished you could shed the complications of modern society and live in the wilderness, using only the things nature has provided? Meet Eustace Conway, Tom Oar, and Marty Meierotto, three men who have devoted their lives to survival in its simplest form. But how simple is it really? This show is available from Amazon video and on the History Channel. Naked and Afraid For 21 days, one man and one woman – meeting for the first time in the nude – are paired and tasked to survive in some of the world’s most extreme environments… with no food, water or clothes. They will need to surmount physical challenges to create shelter, forage for food and find water. But as the days wear on and the danger ramps up – the mental challenge can become unbearable… Will any of them be strong enough, physically and mentally, to last 21 days NAKED AND AFRAID? Some episodes are available for free on the Discovery Channel and you can find the whole series on Amazon. Homestead Rescue Expert homesteader, Marty Raney, along with his daughter Misty and son Matt, give struggling families a second chance at surviving off-the-grid. The stakes are high, but the Raney family is determined to prepare these families for nature’s worst and set them up for success. You can stream this from the Discovery Channel. Alone There are 11 seasons of this competitive and entertaining show. The latest is set in the unforgiving Arctic Circle. Stream this from the History Channel. Forged in Fire Swords may not be the weapon of choice for many people nowadays, with more advanced weaponry readily available, but that doesn’t stop some from continuing to work as bladesmiths. “Forged in Fire” tests some of the best in the field as they attempt to re-create some of history’s most iconic edged weapons. You can stream this from the History Channel. Life Below Zero Life Below Zero is a documentary television series that illustrates the daily and seasonal activities of subsistence hunters as they make their living in remote areas of Alaska. Produced by BBC Worldwide, the show airs on the National Geographic Channel. You can stream some episodes on the National Geographic Channel. The Last Alaskans Back to the beautiful state of Alaska for another reality-documentary series, this one set in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, a protected area home to thousands of native animals… and a handful of people. In 1980, the U.S. government banned human occupation in the refuge, and only residents in seven permitted cabins are allowed to remain. The series depicts the daily rituals of four families living in isolation and contending with bitter weather, frustrating setbacks, and aggressive wildlife in an unspoiled and unforgiving wilderness.  This show is available to stream on the Discovery Channel site. The Colony The Colony is an experiment that simulates a post-apocalyptic world in which ten volunteers (colonists) are tasked with surviving and rebuilding everything from scratch, using only raw ingenuity and supplies they scavenge from their environment. This show is available on Amazon. The Wheel The Wheel dares six participants to survive in six distinctly grueling landscapes across South America. With every turn of the wheel, each survivalist is dropped into a new isolated location, exposed to the world’s deadliest terrains, including freezing tundra, rugged mountains, and treacherous rainforest. Participants don’t know when or why the wheel will turn – nor that their stint at each spot is determined by the rotation of the moon. Equipped only with light survival packs and SOS devices that can be used at any time to quit the challenge and call for help, they must fend for their lives by procuring food, water, and shelter. And when the wheel turns again, they will be thrust into a new location, forced to use a completely different set of skills to survive. Stream from the Discovery Channel. What are your favorites?
