You’re never too old, or too successful, for dads advice. Megan Moroney shared a video on TikTok during Thanksgiving of her covering Kacey Musgraves’ song “Keep It To Yourself,” which was included on her 2013 album, Same Trailer Different Park. Megan has said many times how much she looks to Kacey as an inspiration, so it’s not surprising that she’s covering a deep cut like this, and I love how you can hear her dad giving her critiques and ideas for how to sing it in the background. Megan’s dad taught her how to play guitar when she was 16, as she had suffered a knee injury from cheerleading during her junior year of high school and was in a wheelchair, meaning she had a lot of down time she needed to learn how to play. Her brother also helped teach her, and she grew up in a musical family, so this video seems like a real peak into many years of her life learning to play guitar. A college freshman trying to fly from Boston to Texas to surprise her family for Thanksgiving was instead deported to Honduras in violation of a court order, according to her attorney.Any Lucia Lopez Belloza, 19, had already passed through security at Boston Logan International Airport on Nov. 20 when she was told there was an issue with her boarding pass, said attorney Todd Pomerleau. The Babson College student was then detained by immigration officials and within two days, sent to Texas and then Honduras, the country she left at age 7.
