As the Democratic National Convention kicked off, the Regime Media worked overtime to gaslight the American people into believing that the ensuing proceedings were the result of a selfless handover of power, and not the culmination of a bloodless coup against a sitting American president. And as much as this is a celebration of the Democratic nominees Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, tonight is also really equally a celebration of President Joe Biden. Plan A for President Biden was of course that he would be speaking on the final night of the convention, accepting his party's nomination for a second term on Thursday night. But in a truly astonishing, once-in-a-lifetime sacrifice that he did not have to make, that no one forced him to make, nor that could anyone force him to make it, a sacrifice of his own ambitions for the good of the country, for the prospects of his party. President Biden instead chose a Plan B, that we will see manifest tonight as he keynotes Night One of the Democratic convention. A keynote address like none other in American history. A sitting president voluntarily passing the torch, making himself- as he has said- the bridge to the next generation of leadership. One cannot but help chuckle at Maddow’s assertion that Biden took Plan B- aborting his reelection bid- voluntarily. Part of the ongoing gaslighting of the American public entails making people forget that there wasn’t a steady drumbeat of politicos and media talking heads demanding that Biden step down after his disastrous debate performance on June 20th. But no matter how much Maddow or the rest of the Regime Media may choose to spin it, this was no voluntary handover. Biden is not Washington, or Cincinnatus. And in fact he was forced to step down. Anything else, especially as served up by Maddow, is propaganda so strong as to make North Korea gag.
