SCREW THEM! Twice, locally, I've gone into Walmart and they had nobody maning registers. First time, didn't realize when I went in that there were none. I asked one of the several yellow vested "managers" to open a register and they refused saying they didn;t have enough people. i said in my day , a manager jumped in when needed... they looked at me snotty. SO... I said, "well... I guess one of you will have to restock my groceries from the cart... bye". The look on their face was pricesless. Second time, checked for cashier, was on duty. When I finished shopping there were none. Did the EXACT same thing!

AND... remember... even if they offer to scan you out at self checkout... DON'T do it! The central computer will still tally that a self-checkout was used, and they can use the numbers to justify having more of them and eliminate cashiers altogether.

We dont check ourselves out, EVER, i am not getting paid to be an employee. I would rather wait in a long line or request a cashier than do their job. I have checked my groceries out in the tire center, electronics and evwn the service counter.

I went to walmart the other day and got so mad at the person cashing me out. then i realized i was in a self check out.
