Lori Loughlin Looks A Far Cry From ‘Full House’ Aunt Becky Days Without Makeup

Lori Loughlin has been caught with no makeup on on a few occasions including her yoga session in 2019, when paparazzi captured her photos as she walked to her car. She looked tired and far from glamorous, which could be explained by the stress from the Varsity Blues college admissions scandal that time. She recalled having to shoot for Amazon Prime’s On Call with no highlights or makeup but a disheveled look. Lori was happy to shoot the part, noting that no makeup on TV involved some touch-ups. Lori Loughlin still stuns with no makeup Lori Loughlin no makeup/X17Online/YouTube Lori looks good with or without makeup, and this is thanks to her simple routine involving SPF for sun protection, moisturizer, and face cleansing. She also swears by facials, noting that even when she could not afford them, she would get drugstore scrubs and masks for DIY. Now in her sixties, Lori is taking a smarter approach to self-care as she is consciously choosing to age gracefully. She avoids the sun as much as she can and prioritizes rest and good food as she gets older. The 60-year-old also lets her face breathe by reducing how much makeup she gets. Lori Loughlin/Instagram Lori Loughlin’s Hollywood career While she is one of the most beloved female actresses from the ‘90s, Lori’s career began when she was 15 in the ABC soap opera The Edge Of The Night, where she played Jody Travis. She became famous almost a decade later, thanks to Full House. Lori portrayed co-host Rebecca “Aunt Becky” Donaldson to Bob Saget’s Danny Tanner and later married John Stamos’ character Jesse Kastopolis. Lori Loughlin/Instagram Lori’s career hit a rough patch in 2019 after she and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were found guilty of conspiracy to commit fraud in a college admissions bribery scandal. The mother of two spent two months in prison until December 2020, while her husband did an additional three. How A Fever Can Reduce Viral Loads And Harness the Body’s Natural Defenses

How A Fever Can Reduce Viral Loads And Harness the Body’s Natural Defenses

Just a heads up. This is not medical advice of any kind. Rather, it’s a fascinating look at a recent paper published in the Journal of  Nucleic Acids Research, which suggests what healers from the ages have said… a fever is the body’s weapon against infections. Further, a fever, often seen as a sign of illness, is now being understood as a powerful tool in our body’s fight against infections. New research suggests that fever can enhance the immune response and reduce viral loads. This understanding empowers us to better manage viral infections like the flu and perhaps even COVID-19, giving us a sense of control in the face of these health challenges. The Science Behind Fever and Immune Activation A fever is a complex physiological response that occurs when the body detects the presence of pathogens, such as viruses and bacteria. When the immune system recognizes an invader, it releases signaling molecules called pyrogens, which act on the hypothalamus in the brain to raise body temperature. This elevation in temperature is not merely a byproduct of infection but a strategic response aimed at enhancing immune function. Studies have shown that even a mild increase in body temperature can profoundly affect the immune system. Research published in Nucleic Acids Research demonstrated that even raising body temperature from 37°C to 38°C significantly increases the expression of antiviral genes. This activation primes the body’s defenses, leading to enhanced production of interferons… proteins that inhibit viral replication and boost immune cell activity. The study highlighted how these temperature-induced changes in gene expression create an inhospitable environment for viruses, potentially reducing their ability to replicate and spread within the body.   Historical and Contemporary Evidence Supporting Fever’s Role Historical accounts provide compelling evidence of the beneficial role of fever in combating infections. During the 1918 influenza pandemic, sanitariums that utilized hydrotherapy techniques to induce mild fevers in patients reported significantly lower mortality rates compared to hospitals that focused on fever suppression with aspirin. Fascinating, right? This suggests that controlled increases in body temperature contributed to better outcomes by stimulating immune defenses. Modern clinical studies further support these observations. A randomized, placebo-controlled trial published in the New England Journal of Medicine found that patients with COVID-19 who received treatments aimed at preserving fever had a 39% lower risk of hospitalization and death compared to those whose fevers were aggressively treated with antipyretics such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen. These findings reinforce the idea that fever plays a critical role in managing viral infections by creating an environment less conducive to viral survival and replication.   When Fever Becomes Dangerous While fever offers several immune benefits, it is important to recognize its potential risks. Excessively high temperatures, particularly above 39.4°C (103°F), can pose serious health threats, including dehydration, seizures, and organ damage. Vulnerable populations, such as young children, the elderly, and individuals with underlying health conditions, may be less able to tolerate high fevers and should be closely monitored. Understanding the balance between fever’s immune benefits and its potential dangers provides a nice sense of safety. Clinical guidelines advise allowing mild to moderate fevers to run their course while ensuring adequate hydration and comfort measures. Fevers exceeding 40°C (104°F) require immediate medical intervention, but knowing this balance can instill confidence in managing fever effectively.   Instead of immediately reaching for fever-reducing medications, healthcare professionals are increasingly advocating for a more measured approach to fever management. Practical Approaches to Managing Fever Instead of immediately reaching for fever-reducing medications, healthcare professionals are increasingly advocating for a more measured approach to fever management. Simple measures such as staying hydrated, resting, and using external cooling methods like cool compresses can help alleviate discomfort without completely suppressing fever. Hydrotherapy, a practice that involves the application of warm water to stimulate circulation and raise body temperature, has been shown to support immune function without the risks associated with uncontrolled high fever. Sauna therapy has also gained attention for its ability to simulate fever-like conditions, potentially enhancing the body’s antiviral defenses in a controlled setting.   Rethinking Fever Management in Viral Infections The growing body of evidence supporting fever’s role in reducing viral loads challenges the conventional approach of immediate fever suppression. This research has significant implications for fever management practices in healthcare and among the public. While addressing patient comfort and safety remains essential, the findings suggest that allowing the body’s natural defense mechanisms to operate within safe limits can lead to improved outcomes and potentially change the way we approach fever management in viral infections. Further research is needed to develop clear guidelines for fever management that take into account individual variability, the severity of infection, and overall health status. In the meantime, both healthcare providers and the general public can benefit from a better understanding of how fever functions as a critical tool in the body’s fight against viral infections.   Final Thoughts On Fever It’s time to rethink our approach to fever. Instead of immediately suppressing it, we should recognize it as a vital part of our body’s immune response. When done appropriately, this nuanced approach to fever management can significantly aid in reducing viral loads and improving health outcomes. Embracing this new perspective can make us more open-minded and enlightened in our approach to health. Be sure to ask your doctor if a fever is right for you.   The post How A Fever Can Reduce Viral Loads And Harness the Body’s Natural Defenses appeared first on Off The Grid News.

Donald Trumps Deportation Flights Cost $10,650 Per Person ! #immigration #2025 #trending #news #usa

The Department of Defense (DOD) has deployed two C-17s and two C-130E planes for "migrant repatriation flights." Based on DOD estimates, a single flight involving a C-17 cost approximately $252,000 to transport 80 migrants from El Paso, Texas, to Guatemala City. However, using a C-130E for the same 12-hour flight could cost between $816,000 and $852,000. Donald Trumps Deportation Flights Cost $10,650 Per Person #2025 #trending #news #usa #immigration
