One can never be too prepared if tragedy were to strike. Parent Rescue Made By 9-Year-Old Son However, having an emergency preparedness plan and actually carrying it out and executing it are two entirely different things. People may have all the knowledge in the world about what to do during a tornado but freeze up when a tornado strikes. All that information and preparation would have been for nothing. The storm uprooted a tree, which hit their vehicle. Branson's parents were injured and stuck in the truck. Thankfully, Branson was able to get out of the damaged truck. Instead of remaining frozen in fear, the little guy started a mile-long trek to get help. Eventually, Branson returned to the scene with help for his mother and father. "Branson sprung into action really quick," Wayne said. "He's a very courageous son. For a 9-year-old boy, not many adults would have done what he did." Wayne added that he could not be "more proud of a son that could accept a challenge in that way." Branson is undoubtedly a hero, putting aside his fears and trepidations to save the lives of others. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Monday that there is no “daylight” between President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, an indication that Harris could govern nearly identically to Biden if elected this fall. KJP made the remark during a press briefing when asked if there was “a process where there is a checking of what she’s going to put out and how it matches or may change, or ways in which she can build on what he’s done.” “I can’t speak to an interagency kind of process in doing just that — trying to measure up or line up where they both are,” KJP responded. “What I can speak to is the last three and a half years — right? — we have less than six months now of this administration — and how much the vice president was a critical partner in getting a lot of the big pieces, historic pieces done.” KJP said that Harris was responsible for the “heavy lifting” in implementing Biden’s radical agenda, including the American Rescue Plan, which sparked the inflation crisis that impacted the U.S. over the last three years. A campaign office in Virginia for former President Donald Trump was broken into on Sunday, law enforcement announced on Monday. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) said that they were looking for a suspect wanted for burglary at the Trump for President 2024 campaign office in Ashburn, Virginia. The office, which is the headquarters for the Virginia 10th District Republican Committee, is being leased by the Trump campaign. According to surveillance footage, the suspect is a white adult male who entered the building donning a dark hat and a backpack.  The investigation is ongoing, and it is unclear if anything was stolen from the office.  “It’s an office park area, kind of a remote office park area, so there would not have been an awful lot of people” around the building on Sunday, LCSO spokesman Thomas Julia said, according to the Washington Post. “Once we know who this person is and the motivation, we’ll have a second statement.” Republican Party of Virginia Chairman Rich Anderson said he was waiting to see what the LCSO investigation reveals.  “I got a phone call from my people this morning telling me that an intruder had somehow made his way in,” Anderson said. “They’ve handed it off to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
