James Carville says 'no one wants to hear from' Biden anymore: 'It was all his doing ... this entire thing'

Famed Democratic strategist James Carville was very blunt about what position former President Joe Biden has in the Democratic Party, and it's not good. Carville said that "no one wants to hear from" the former president anymore because most of the blame for Democrats' catastrophic losses in the election fall on Biden's frail shoulders. 'Look, guy, you had a noble career, your last act was terrible, just get out of the way.' "This is the truth of where we are," said Carville. "What he’s done to himself is, no one wants to hear from this guy anymore, OK? Just go to your condo in Rehoboth and stay there!”Carville made the comments on the latest episode of his "Politics War Room" podcast, released Friday. “And that’s not because we’re bad people or we’re mean people,” he continued. “It was all his doing, all his doing, this entire thing." The comments mirrored one side of a painful and bitter debate within the Democratic Party about whom to blame for the devastating election and how to maneuver the party's policies to win future elections. Carville also referenced Biden's recent claim that had he stayed in the campaign that he would have beaten President Donald Trump. "This kind of petty back and forth, 'Oh, I would have beat Trump,' no one f***ing believes that at all!" he continued. “Look, guy, you had a noble career. Your last act was terrible. Just get out of the way. The party’s moving on. I mean, they’re really moving on.”Carville went on to say that Biden was a very decent person but that the election had turned into one of the "most tragic stories" of American public life. "And it's very sad, but that's just where we are, and he created this himself. He has nobody to blame but himself," Carville concluded. "Nobody."The entire podcast is available on the podcast's YouTube channel. Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. House Dems almost unanimously vote against bill protecting babies who survive abortion

The House passed the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act on Thursday despite Democrats overwhelmingly voting against the legislation. The bill would require health care practitioners to save babies who survive attempted abortions, arguing that if a baby is born, the infant "is a legal person for all purposes under the laws of the United States" and is entitled to life. The bill also details that any health care practitioner who intentionally kills an infant who survives an abortion is subject to penalties, although the mother of the infant cannot be prosecuted. 'House and Senate Republicans are committed to protecting innocent life because we know every single person is made in the image of God and has inestimable dignity and value.'The bill passed with all Republicans and one Democrat voting in favor of the legislation. Ultimately, 210 Democrats voted no on the bill. "I am so grateful the House passed my vital legislation to ensure babies who survive an abortion are afforded lifesaving medical care. Innocent children deserve the opportunity to live and thrive — period," Republican Rep. Ann Wagner of Missouri said in a Thursday press release. "It’s up to us to be the voice for these babies who are at their most vulnerable and ensure they get the love and care they need," Wagner added. "This should not be a controversial issue, but rest assured we will keep up the fight in Congress to make sure all babies, born and unborn, are treated like the miracles of life we know they are.” The bill's passage came just a day after Senate Democrats kept the sister bill from advancing. The legislation also passed the House on the eve of the annual March for Life, the largest pro-life demonstration in the country. "Yesterday, the House passed the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act," Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said in a statement Friday. "Just one Democrat joined us. House and Senate Republicans are committed to protecting innocent life because we know every single person is made in the image of God and has inestimable dignity and value."Like Blaze News? Suspects in Border Patrol agent's fatal shooting identified — new details suggest deeper sinister plot

The suspects in the fatal shooting of a Vermont Border Patrol agent have been identified, and the FBI has detained one of the individuals. On Friday, the agency announced the arrest of Teresa Youngblut, a 21-year-old Washington state resident, in connection with the killing of Border Patrol agent David “Chris” Maland.'The United States Attorney’s Office District of Vermont has charged Youngblut with assault on a federal law enforcement officer.'On Monday around 3:15 p.m., 44-year-old Maland was shot and killed while performing a traffic stop on Interstate 91 in Coventry, Vermont. Maland was a Minnesota native and U.S. Air Force veteran who served as a Border Patrol agent at the Customs and Border Protection’s Newport Station after transferring from Texas.According to Maland’s family, he served in the military for nine years and worked in the federal government for 15 years, including providing security at the Pentagon during the September 11, 2001, terror attacks. The tragic fatal shooting occurred the same day that President Donald Trump was inaugurated for his second term in office. As part of his day-one actions, the president signed several executive orders aimed at cracking down on illegal immigration and addressing the national crisis. On Monday, Border Patrol agents in three marked vehicles stopped Youngblut, the driver of a blue Toyota Prius, as she was heading southbound on Interstate 91, the FBI stated. Felix Baukholt, a German national, was a passenger in Youngblut’s vehicle. An FBI criminal complaint obtained by Fox News read, “On January 20, 2025, at approximately 3:00 pm, an on-duty, uniformed United States Border Patrol (USBP) Agent initiated a stop of a blue 2015 Toyota Prius Hatchback with [a] North Carolina license plate ... to conduct an immigration inspection as it was driving southbound on Interstate 91 in Coventry, Vermont.”Both Youngblut and Baukholt reportedly had firearms in their possession.According to the Department of Homeland Security, Baukholt was illegally in the U.S. after overstaying his visa.Agents on the scene stated that Youngblut started firing her gun toward at least one of the Border Patrol officers while she was still seated in the vehicle, WPTZ reported. Baukholt also allegedly attempted to draw his weapon.Documents obtained by WPTZ and Fox News Digital revealed that at least one of the Border Patrol agents returned fire, injuring both suspects. Baukholt died at the scene, while Youngblut and Maland were transported to North Country Hospital to receive treatment. Maland was pronounced dead less than an hour later. Youngblut was later transferred to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. The FBI retrieved two firearms, ammunition, a ballistic helmet, a night vision monocular, a tactical belt, shooting range targets, two-way radios, cell phones, multiple laptops, and Youngblut’s journal. It is not clear how the suspects planned to use the gear. WPTZ reported that the two suspects were previously observed at a Newport Walmart, where they purchased aluminum foil and used it to wrap items inside their vehicle.Law enforcement officials stated that the two suspects had been under surveillance since at least January 14.A hotel employee in Lyndonville had reportedly seen Youngblut and Baukholt “dressed in all-black tactical style clothing with protective equipment” while carrying a firearm. When approached by police, the two suspects stated they were in the area to purchase a property. They were again observed, this time by law enforcement authorities, wearing tactical-style clothing and carrying a firearm on January 19.Court filings revealed that Youngblut faces two charges of assault with a deadly weapon and an additional charge of resisting or impeding federal law enforcement. The FBI’s Albany, New York, office stated, “The United States Attorney’s Office District of Vermont has charged Youngblut with assault on a federal law enforcement officer.”“Our hearts remain with our partners at U.S. Border Patrol Swanton Sector as they mourn this tremendous loss,” the statement added.Like Blaze News? Apple may have finally found a way to fix Siri and Apple Intelligence

Apple may have finally found a way to fix Siri and Apple Intelligence

With the iOS 18.3 release just around the corner, it won't take long before we get the long-awaited Siri overhaul expected with iOS 18.4. However, with Apple Intelligence not being as useful as users might wish for and Siri still being Siri, Apple is in a bad place with its AI efforts. This is why the company has apparently enlisted its veteran software executive to help fix Apple Intelligence and Siri. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Kim Vorrath, a vice president in charge of program movement who previously worked on Vision Pro and iPhone software, was moved to Apple's AI and machine learning division. Gurman says she'll be a top deputy to AI chief John Giannandrea. The journalist writes: "The move helps bolster a team that’s racing to make Apple a leader in AI — an area where it’s fallen behind technology peers. The company has struggled to match the capabilities of OpenAI, Meta Platforms Inc., and Alphabet Inc.’s Google. And its Apple Intelligence platform has suffered from a slow and bumpy rollout." The journalist says this executive is known for "managing the development of tough software projects," while she can also "put procedures in place that can catch and fix bugs." Since the company is still struggling with the Apple Intelligence kick-off, it makes sense if the executive can fix these two platforms' biggest flaws. Over the past few years, BGR has covered several stories highlighting the complexity behind Siri and why it might never catch up with other AI assistants. While the company plans to revamp the personal assistant in late iOS 19 development, Siri still has a long way to go before it can offer the useful features ChatGPT, Gemini, and other AI chatbots offer. That said, Gurman believes this executive change highlights how Apple now prioritizes AI over its Vision Pro device, previously seen as the "biggest challenge within the company." BGR will let you know as Apple keeps improving Siri and Apple Intelligence.
