An Italian eyewitness recalls his strange creature encounter in the summer of 2011. Some of the narrative was amended because of the translation.“I'm here to tell you about a story, probably the most scary or terrifying story ever in my life. It happened about six years ago in the summer of 2011. One night, as has happened many times, I was coming back home late, a late night about midnight or 1:00 AM in my car. I want to say that I never use drugs and that I never smoke, so my mind is always very clear, always. At the time, I had come back to my car and I was parking. When I left my car, I felt, like, strange. I felt very cold in my body but it was summer, it was July, so it was very warm weather but I felt very cold, especially in my chest and my stomach. And I felt like something was pressing on my chest. I had extremely strong feelings that something or someone was watching. So that was the first night but this thing, this kind of thing, has happened to me at different times in my life, so I didn't care. I went home to sleep.This particular event repeated the next day, and then the next day. Every day the presentation became stronger and scarier. It repeated for about one week. On day 4 or 5, I don't remember very well, these feelings became much stronger, and also along with these feelings, there was another scary thing. I was hearing a noise that was like, I don't know, footsteps. Heavy footsteps of a great animal or a man. Anyway, so that day I was very scared. These things happened the next day, again. It was the sixth day of this particular event. Then the seventh day, the same as the night before, I went out and I came back to my home with my car and parked. I got out of my car. I closed the door. I had very strong feelings and I felt very cold but in a way that I've never felt before in my life. Now I was scared because I knew at that time that someone was watching me so I decided to stay, not go to the house, but to stay and try to understand what was happening, to see if there really was someone or something that was watching me. I heard again and again the steps and they were very heavy. So I stayed and watched around the courtyard. I looked around and finally saw a scary sight. I see something. I see a creature. I saw this big shadow, a black shadow, and it was very big and very tall because I am 6 feet and 4 inches and this shape, it looked much taller than me. The most scary thing was that it was not a shadow, but it was the big red eyes that this shadow had. They were very big and very shiny and it was watching me. And at the time I was very scared and I didn't know what to do. Do I run? Do I go to the shadow? I stayed paralyzed for some seconds and I didn't know what to do.Now it started to walk towards me and after probably 3 or 4 seconds, the shadow was almost to me. It was about 10 meters away. I was very scared so I ran. I don't know why. I ran over to and behind the wall by my house. So I closed the gate of my garden. I closed the gate and I ran into my house. In my house, the door is full of glass so that you can see out and when I closed the door, I saw out through the gate. I saw the eyes, they were near my gate. They were still watching me. It was very terrifying and still now, when I talk about the story, I'm terrified. So at that moment, I was very scared and I went into the other room for probably five minutes and after I looked out the door, the eyes and the shadow were not there. I went out to see but since that moment I've never again seen this creature. I don't know what it was but I know that it was real because I saw it for several seconds. I saw the eyes. I remember still the shape of the shadow, the eyes, and the noise of the steps. I've talked about this with only a few friends and family.A month after these strange things happened to me, I saw similar web creatures. In the world, there have been many over the years. Encounters with creatures that were called the Mothman and when I saw the picture of this creature, it was really like the one I saw. It was really like it so I don't know if it really was a Mothman. At the time, when I saw it, the first time, I called it the Crow Man because it was like a big crow with a black shadow and eyes. I also searched if there were animals, real animals, that had red eyes at night. The fox has red eyes in the dark but I don't believe that a fox could exist that was taller than me and that it could step with two feet like a man. And the eyes were very big so I don't what it was. A Portland, Oregon resident contacts me about terrifying encounters with black-eyed kids at her apartment building. She is unable to get photographs of these kids. Creepy series of incidents!I received the following account:"Hello. Please don't take this lightly. Here is what happened to me two nights ago. I was encouraged by friends who tell me people need to know what I've experienced. I recently moved into a condo in southeast Portland, Oregon. Outside of downtown, it's pretty rural here and there are more houses and condos than apartment complexes. I was out on my balcony smoking a cigarette when I noticed something strange.Now I'll preface this by saying I have heard of black-eyed kids, children, people, whatever. I don't usually get spooked by scary stories or creepy pastas. They are all fun and games right? No harm. I have had weird things happen to me that I can't explain, don't get me wrong. My boyfriend swears I was possessed once, I had an object "thrown at me" by no one when I was alone in a basement. Paranormal weirdness that I don't bother much to try and understand. I dismiss it and go on with my life. I never believed I'd be writing something like this. I'm a graduate student on a professional track and I stay pretty firmly grounded in scientific and reasonable explanations - whether I know what they are or not, I favor the belief they underlying everything.So on my balcony smoking. Across the condo complex on a neighbor's balcony, I see two silhouettes. It's late, around 2 am and it's a weeknight. One was slightly taller than the other but they looked to be females around the age of 8-12 with one a bit older. I saw movement and the two stood close to one another. I could hear them knocking on this second-story balcony door. My light was off so aside from my cigarette burning I don't think anyone could see me well enough to know I was there, and once I saw them I was frozen still. I don't know why, but as soon as I could make out their shapes I felt an overwhelming sense of terror. Something imminent and dangerous was preying on me and I couldn't move.After some time, ten minutes of paralyzing fear and listening to their knocks the light in the condo came on and someone opened their blinds. I was afraid for them. I wanted to yell to the neighbor to stop but I was more afraid they'd see me I can't explain it but I knew I didn't want them to know I was watching. The neighbor stepped back I think confused and apprehensive. I could understand why. I heard the voice of the older taller one...and it's burned in my mind. It was completely monotone and seemed to be void of any life or cheer. A kid is usually happy sounding even if they aren't happy but it was so weird, I knew it wasn't the voice of a child or a person. It wasn't human, something in this voice was wrong. I couldn't hear exactly what she was saying but at one point the smaller one turned around and stared straight at me like she knew I was there the whole time. I almost p*ssed myself.Still paralyzed with fear I couldn't move. I saw pale skin and huge black eyes. It was dark, it was far, but I know what I saw. When she turned, the light from inside the neighbor's balcony shed light on them so I could see well enough to know her eyes were pitch black. Her clothes were strange and old, outdated, and she was expressionless. The neighbor had the door open only an inch or two and her hand looked ready to slam it shut. The taller girl became angry and she seemed as though she was going to make her way in through the damn door. The neighbor slammed it and locked it hard. I could hear the fear of that woman with the intensity in which she locked that door. She stepped back from the door leaving the blinds drawn and I lost sight of her. They stood before the smaller one and looked up at the taller one. The two looked at each other, and said nothing! No communication, and in unison looked toward me and I broke free of my paralysis to bolt inside and lock the door. Still holding my cigarette with it's filter burning at this point. I kept the light off and kept my eyes on their shadowy silhouettes.This is where it gets crazy sounding and I search desperately for a way to say this so that anyone reading can comprehend the sheer shock, terror, and seriousness at what I witnessed with my own two eyes. They effing dematerialized! I mean, they just turned into almost a swarm of what could have been insects and disappeared. Swear to God, on my life. I watched the spot where they had been standing for what had to be the longest sixty seconds or so of my life. And I stepped back away from the window in fear of them popping up behind me or something. I was shaking violently and my cat rubbed on my leg meowing in some attempt to console me because he sensed my fear. I noticed my cigarette filter still on my hand was flattened from me pinching it so hard. I looked down at my cat and back outside because I wanted to try and find them. I looked where they were on the porch to see if I'd gone insane temporarily and if they were just hiding there or something. They were gone. My neighbor returned to where I could see her in her window. She was on the phone, probably with the police and that's when I noticed them again, directly above her, on the roof! Just standing above her, holding hands. Then they got on their hands and knees. I still was completely gripped by fear and horrified by what I was seeing.Backtrack a bit. Since we moved in we have been hearing things on the roof at night. Running back and forth, footsteps, dropping something heavy sounds, which is weird because we are on the second and top floors. We have been arguing with the neighbors who say we are making too much noise during "quiet hours of 10:30-6 AM" which we definitely don't. I am always sleeping due to medical school and my boyfriend stays up late but always by himself. We don't have a TV, so he just reads or looks stuff up on his phone, he doesn't stomp around or move furniture. So I always thought it was weird that it sounds like people are walking above us or running or whatever it is. I chalked it up to trees hitting the rooftop and whatnot.So these 'kids' are on the roof somehow, don't know how they could've even gotten up there. They get on their hands and knees and are moving on top of this lady's roof. It looked like they may have been scratching at it or digging at it but I could see their black eyes in contrast to their skin with their heads cranked up straight watching me through the window of my balcony door. They were both looking right at me which was extremely unnerving. I didn't even know WTF was happening or why. I knew I had to get some kind of proof of what was happening but I was terrified to take my eyes off them and lose them from view. I knew my phone was plugged into the charger in the kitchen and something in my head said to me, not in my voice, "Don't move, you may not like where you see me next." Like someone was talking to me in my mind. It scared me so much I felt like my heart was going to explode. I wished someone other than my cat was there so I could validate what I saw and ask them to bring me my phone so I didn't lose sight of them. But the phone is important and I must prove I'm not crazy. I broke our staring match and ran to the kitchen, just breaking the gaze eased a bit of the terror but I was still shaking. I grabbed my phone and went back to the window. They stood up in unison, I pulled up my camera and snapped but the flash reflected on my window and it was a sh*tty nothing picture. I think it upset them. I was trying to photograph them and again they started disappearing. Like I said earlier dematerializing or something because you could see pieces of them all fading sporadically lessening into them not being there at all!I continued looking at the roof, the balconies, and even down below, and couldn't see anything or anyone. My neighbor was still on the phone at the door, her husband or significant other or male roommate was there with her and she was pointing up and talking to either him or whoever was on the phone. She pointed outside and stomped her foot. He was shaking his head in what seemed like disbelief and she passed him the phone and left my line of sight into her condo. I wanted to go out on my balcony but I was still very afraid. I felt wrong, sick to my stomach from the intensity of the experience. I told my boyfriend about it when he came home and he was very freaked out. He has never seen me get upset to literal tears about anything and knows I am a die-hard skeptic of aliens, ghosts, and anything paranormal. I dismiss every photo or video as a hoax and just think with everything anyone can do technology-wise today there has to be a reasonable explanation. It shook me to my core and I wish the story ended there.The next night I was smoking on my balcony. This was last night. It was earlier than before and this time my boyfriend was home. I felt creeped out, but OK to go out with him within screams reach, so I was going to have a quick cigarette before bed. I was in a robe and slippers, and this time I turned my light on. I sat down and lit my cigarette with the balcony door still open. I took a long drag and exhaled and heard two coughs somewhere above me. Holy sh*t. I knew exactly what it was. I froze and a deep sense of dread boiled up, just like the night before. I threw my cigarette and almost tripped sliding inside the open door. I locked it immediately, at which point my cat began freaking out because he hates being locked out and followed me outside. He was going bananas. Screaming pathetically and frantically I gave in and opened the door. He bolted inside and I slid it closed and locked it again. I kept the light on and called my boyfriend over. "They are on the F'ing roof!" I said, and we both got quiet. We heard footsteps above us and his eyes got big. We stood there silent and still just listening. They sounded like they were heading toward our front door. I ran over to it to double-lock it using the top lock which we always leave open.As soon as I touched it I felt this cold creeping depressing sadness come over me like a wave. And there it was...knock, knock, knock. They were waiting for ME to open my door. I meekly said, "Who's there?" Timid and way less courageous sounding than I would've liked. That voice from the prior night, that dead lifeless voice was being directed at me, "Ma'am you have to let us in, please help us?" I didn't say anything. I wished my door had a peephole but it doesn't. So I started backing away...knock knock knock. My boyfriend came up behind me and gave me his phone. He said, "We have to get a picture or no one will believe this" softly in my ear. I shook my head knowing he was right and started to approach the door again, hoping to sneak a photo through the high window to the right of the door. When I was just a few steps away the taller one lifted her face up to the f*cking window and shook her head in a disapproving 'no.' The blinds were mostly down but I could see her face almost entirely except her lips and chin. Those big black eyes with absolutely no white anywhere. They were huge! Like too big to be human eyes. And there was no way she could reach my window, she had to be floating there to look in, which made me really confused and scared. I had my camera up and ready and snapped the picture without flash, and when I looked at it SHE WASN'T IN IT! I'M SERIOUS! She should've been. I snapped it while she was there. She was still there after I took it, but she wasn't in the f*cking picture! I looked back at her soulless creepy face and she somehow smiled without smiling like 'Ha ha you can't prove this happened.' I almost wanted to open the door and be like WTF are you? And that's when it happened again, and my boyfriend saw it too. She just slowly fell apart into nothingness and vanished! The heaviness lifted and my boyfriend and I were floored! He asked if we should open the door and look? He asked if I got the picture. I gave him the phone to see for himself. He was like no way! What the Hell?I don't know what they are but there is a reason there are no pictures of them that are real. They can't be photographed. Does that mean they exist in another dimension? Or they are dead? Or vampires? I never would have believed anyone if I heard my story from anyone else. If it didn't happen to me there would be no way I'd give it the time of day. But it did happen to me, and I'm really scared it's going to keep happening, or worse. What do I do? I am so grateful to be alive but the terror I felt around these girls really has me on edge. I am so scared of going out on my balcony or even leaving my house at night or going to my house. It doesn't feel safe, and I have no way to legitimize what happened or do anything about it. I want answers. I want to know what they are. I want to ask them if I see them again but it's like I can't even speak around them. I am just almost completely immobilized. How does someone combat something like this? It's like something from a Stephen King novel but it actually happened. I feel like they are really p*ssed that I tried to take pictures of them and I don't know what is going to happen next if anything, but I had to get it out somehow because it is real, it does exist, and it's changed everything I've ever thought about paranormal experiences. So scared. I hope they don't ever come back, but I know from hearing things at night they may be here more often than I'd like to believe and whether I see them or not, they are there, and I have no way to prove it. ATLANTA—The only rational explanation for the Biden-Harris administration’s open border policy is that Democrats think illegal immigrants will help them in the Nov. 5 election, Oklahoma Gov. America can’t afford to give illegal immigrants the benefits of U.S. citizenship, Stitt, a Republican elected in 2018 and reelected in 2022, told his audience at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead in Atlanta. “We can’t afford to do that, to have open borders and have all these people come in,” he said. Sitt, the founder and former CEO of Gateway Mortgage Group, said he runs Oklahoma like a business. “Oklahoma is the most business-friendly state in the country,” he told his audience at . “When I took over, we had no money in savings. We were having billion-dollar budget deficits.” Now, Stitt said, “we’re running an efficient government.” “I’ve cut taxes, I’ve cut income [taxes], I’ve cut corporate {taxes], I’ve cut individual [taxes], I’ve cut the grocery tax—which was the most regressive tax that we had—because government is not the answer,” the Oklahoma governor said. The 60-year-old former congressman—who could moonlight as Biden’s frumpy 75-year-old brother—is America’s hardest-left V.P. wannabe, ever. By picking Walz, the real Kamala returned, big league. Regardless, Democrats have thrown a centrist tarp over Walz. “Tim Walz is wonderful,” former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., told MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough. “To characterize him as Left is so unreal. He’s right down the middle. He’s a heartland-of-America Democrat.” Former Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., said: “The idea that Tim Walz is some Leftie is just not true, in reality.” Don’t be fooled. Walz, rare among his peers, chose tax increases.” “Minnesota ranks 44th on the Tax Foundation’s business tax climate index, giving companies a strong incentive to invest elsewhere,” Cato Institute scholar Chris Edwards observed Friday. “To stem the outflow of skilled people and capital, Minnesota needs to adopt a leaner government and cut individual and business tax rates.” But Walz is more than just an old-fashioned tax-and-spend liberal. He loves wide-open borders. “He [Trump] talks about this wall,” Walz told CNN’s Anderson Cooper on July 30. “I always say, let me know how high it is. If it’s 25 feet, then I will invest in a 30-foot-ladder factory.” Walz also favors sanctuary cities. Walz’s Office of New Americans pampers illegal aliens who savor his smorgasbord of no-cost treats. Moms and dads who object can lose custody of such children. Tampon Tim ordered menstrual products into schoolboys’ bathrooms, from grades four through 12. “In Minnesota, we respect our neighbors and the personal choices that they make,” Walz said Aug. 6. “Even if we wouldn’t make the same choice for ourselves, there’s a golden rule: Mind your own damn business!” Walz’s faux-libertarianism T-boned into his East German governing style during COVID-19. Atop lengthy lockdowns and mask mandates, Walz’s so-called snitch line helped Minnesotans rat on those who violated pandemic decrees. “We saw large, peaceful protests,” Walz said on June 1, 2020, as the George Floyd riots incinerated Minneapolis. Speaking at his State Emergency Operations Center, Walz added: “A society that does not put equity and inclusion at the center of it is certainly going to eventually come to the place where we’re at.” According to an October 2020 Minnesota state Senate report, “Governor Tim Walz and elected local leaders identified with the causes promoted by the demonstrators, causing them to lose sight of their responsibility to protect the public from criminal acts committed during the riots.” The paper added: “Governor Walz and his administration were more concerned with the ‘current environment,’ the ‘climate they were under,’ ‘community and cultural concerns,’ and ‘diversity and inclusion training’ than they were about stopping the riots that were destroying Minnesota.” Walz himself called the government response an “abject failure.” Meanwhile, Walz’s wife found this carnage refreshing. “I could smell the burning tires,” Gwen Walz said at the time. America’s potential Second Lady continued: “That was a very real thing, and I kept the windows open as long as I could because I felt like that was such a touchstone of what was happening.” For her part, then-Sen. Harris, D-Calif., used Twitter on June 1, 2020, to urge her supporters to “chip in” and support the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which bailed out rioters who were jailed during that havoc. Harris got results: The fund’s revenues soared from $231,242 in 2019 to $41,655,560 in 2020—up 17,913%. Those the bail fund set loose, with Kamala’s help, included six domestic abusers, accused child rapist Timothy Wayne Columbus; Darnika Floyd, who police said fatally stabbed a friend who refused to have sex; and George Howard, arrested for an alleged double homicide just three weeks after the fund paid his bail. X owner Elon Musk condemned Big Tech and governments worldwide for their election-meddling censorship. Over the weekend, Musk went on X (formerly Twitter) to argue that censorship threatens free societies. His words were particularly timely as the UK was making headlines for tracking down individuals exercising freedom of speech online, and Google was involved in a scandal over 2024 election censorship. “Freedom of speech is the bedrock of democracy. If the truth is suppressed, it is impossible to make an informed voting decision,” Musk wrote on Aug. 10. “The degree to which freedom of speech is being undermined around the world is extremely alarming.” Musk bashed Google in particular, as the tech giant was caught suppressing information about the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. In response to a post showing evidence from Dr. Robert Epstein that Google flipped races to Democrat, Musk stated, “Maybe true, maybe not, but the Google political bias is certainly troubling.” MRC recently released a study showing how Google’s search engine promotes Democrat nominee Kamala Harris. X’s rival Meta also came in for Musk’s critiques. After biologist Richard Dawkins reportedly had his account deleted by Facebook, Musk commented, “Facebook aka ‘Meta’ can never be trusted.” The X owner also addressed UK censorship directly, in the case of an individual reportedly imprisoned for copying a post online. “Tyler [Kay] was sentenced to 38 months in [UK] prison for copying a post made on X by Lucy Connolly, the wife of a Conservative councilor,” Mario Nawfal posted. Musk reacted: “This is messed up.” He satirically predicted, “It’s 2030 in the UK & you’re being executed for posting a meme … .” Musk’s X does not always live up to his avowed standards. Former Scottish First Minister Humza Yousaf recently took a break from criticizing Israel online to lash out at Elon Musk for weighing in on the racially charged riots now sweeping the United Kingdom. Whereas Britons with dissenting views are increasingly being pressured into silence and even punished in the U.K., Yousaf — who claimed Musk was advancing white supremacist ideology — found himself instead dealing with an American citizen not similarly limited in his ability to reply. Musk gave Yousaf a taste of his own medicine, suggesting the leftist politician was a "super racist." Possible legal battle Scotland's Sunday Mail reported that Yousaf had not ruled out legal action in response to Musk's racism accusation and that he was "considering all options." 'I dare that scumbag to sue me.' BLM activist Aamer Anwar, Yousaf's lawyer, told the paper, "Anybody who goes on social media, even if they own the platform and thinks that free speech is absolute whether in the UK or USA, needs to think again. Free speech carries responsibility and if you break the law there are consequences, as we have seen in recent days." "Elon Musk has effectively painted a target on Humza Yousaf's back with his completely unacceptable, untrue and inflammatory comments," said Anwar. It's unclear whether Anwar similarly regarded his client's suggestion that Musk was a racist as inflammatory. "The primary issue that may arise from the postings of Mr Musk is how others choose to ride on the back of the fire he is clearly igniting," continued the BLM lawyer. "If others choose to incite racial hatred against Humza or others, they should expect multiple years in prison. Social media is not a law-free zone and where actions are criminal and harmful you can expect the full force of the law." Musk doubled down on his previous comments and dared Yousaf to take him to court. "He's obviously super racist against white people," wrote Musk. "I dare that scumbag to sue me. Go ahead, make my day." How it started Blaze News previously reported that Axel Rudakubana, the 18-year-old son of Rwandan immigrants, stormed into a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, England, on July 29 and butchered three girls — Elsie Dot Stancombe, Alice da Silva Aguiar, and Bebe King. Rudakubana also grievously wounded five other children and two adults. Authorities, handcuffed in part by policy, refused to disclose the attacker's nationality or release his name upon arrest, prompting many to suspect that he was an asylum seeker and/or possibly another Muslim extremist. Protests and riots — fueled further by longstanding frustrations with unchecked migration, British Islamicization, coverups, a failure of assimilation, and certain similarities shared by recent attacks on vulnerable Britons — soon began to sweep the country. Total madness," to which one user replied, "The effects of mass migration and open borders is what's going on." Musk commented, "Civil war is inevitable." Yousaf subsequently went on CNN to complain about British politician Nigel Farage and Musk, claiming the latter "is one of the most dangerous men on the planet. He uses his billions — he is unaccountable to anyone — to amplify far-right, white supremacist ideology." According to Yousaf, Musk is "hoping for civil war in some parts of Europe including in the U.K., and instead of using X as a platform for good and using his enormous wealth for good, he is using it, I think, for the most wicked evil possible." 'Anybody who goes on social media, even if they own the platform and thinks that free speech is absolute whether in the UK or USA, needs to think again.' The former Scottish leader suggested further that Britain's new leftist prime minister, Keir Starmer, should consider better ways to effectively clamp down on the kind of speech undesirable to the powers that be. In a corresponding post on X, Yousaf wrote, "It is not the working class that is responsible for spreading disinformation about Muslims and migrants. It is men with power and wealth like Elon Musk and Nigel Farage who amplify far-right conspiracy theories. We must get organised and confront their hateful ideology." Yousaf did not limit his attacks to CNN or X. He also insinuated Musk was a racist in an interview with Scotland's Sunday Mail. Yousaf deemed 'super, super racist' After Yousaf publicly maligned Musk, the Tesla CEO tweeted, "[Yousaf] is super, super racist. Scotland gave him everything and yet he loathes white people. This is obvious, because he has never complained about the race of any other country's leadership." "There are over 200 countries in the world most of whom have single-race leadership," continued Musk. "Why is he only attacking Scotland." The tech magnate appears to have been referencing Yousaf's June 10, 2020, speech, where the leftist politician criticized the perceived lack of diversity in the Scottish parliament. Blaze News previously reported that Yousaf complained that in Scotland — where 96% of the population is white and a combined 4% of the population is Asian, black, mixed, or of other ethnic groups — "there has not been a single black member of the Scottish Parliament, to our shame; there has not been a single woman MSP of color, to our shame; and the only four ethnic minority MSPs have all been Scots Asian males." Yousaf then listed and emphasized the race of the persons then in positions of power in Scotland. After noting they were white, he said, "That is not good enough." The former first minister was far from finished complaining about Scotland, which offered his immigrant mother an alternative to suffering further indignities in Africa. In the speech, he noted that the meetings he had attended more or less reflected the demographics of Scotland, stating, "Some people have been surprised or taken aback by my mention on my social media that at 99% of the meetings that I go to, I am the only non-white person in the room." Musk indicated Sunday that if Yousaf actually goes through with a lawsuit, it would likely backfire. The tech magnate noted that legal discovery in such a case would demonstrate that "however big a racist he's been in public communications, he is vastly worse in private communications."
