AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) said Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) peddled “lies” and “tropes” about the pro-Israel lobbying group in his interview with Tucker Carlson. “Once again, @MassieforKY peddles lies and tropes about AIPAC. Carlson asked what does that mean. “It’s like your babysitter. Your AIPAC babysitter who is always talking to you for AIPAC,” Massie explained. “That’s how it works on the Republican side,” he said. “And when they come to DC, you go have lunch with them. And they’ve got your cell number and you have conversations with them,” Massie said. “I’ve had four members of Congress say I’ll talk to my AIPAC person and it’s really what we call them, my AIPAC guy. I’ll talk to my AIPAC guy and see if I can get him to dial those ads back,” he explained. “Ostensibly, it’s a group of Americans who lobby on behalf of Israel. They’re for anything Israel and they’re a very effective lobbying group,” he added. WATCH: Mediaite reports: Carlson followed up by asking if any other countries have similar “guys” for whipping lawmakers. “They pay for trips for congressmen and their spouses to go to Israel,” He continued. “I’m not the only Republican who hasn’t taken the AIPAC trip to Israel, but I’m probably one of a dozen that hasn’t taken that trip and the other ones just haven’t got around to it.” Though it has long been a powerful lobbying group, AIPAC only began raising money for individual candidates in 2021. Since that time, it has run negative ads against lawmakers it views as hostile to Israel or insufficiently supportive of the country. AIPAC spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on ads against Massie before his primary election. The group is making an initial buy of $300,000 in TV air time on all Fox affiliate channels in Kentucky,” Jewish Insider reports. “We are shining a spotlight on Tom Massie’s atrocious anti-Israel record,” Dorton said. Massie remains among the few public servants who doesn’t capitulate to sending American taxpayer dollars to fund foreign conflicts. Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper had a short reply when he was asked by Fox News if he regrets signing the intelligence officials’ letter in 2020 that labeled the Hunter Biden laptop story as Russian disinformation. Clapper, along with 50 other former senior intelligence officials, signed the letter in October 2020 — just weeks before the presidential election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden — saying the New York Post story that exposed emails from Hunter Biden’s “laptop from hell” had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” Since that letter, Hunter Biden’s laptop has been confirmed as authentic by multiple media outlets and the Department of Justice. The laptop was also confirmed as real during Hunter’s ongoing gun trial earlier this week when the prosecution shared images from the laptop and Hunter’s iCloud account that showed him nude and holding crack pipes. When Clapper was asked if he regretted adding his name to the intelligence officials’ letter, he simply replied, “No,” Fox News reported. He also refused to publicly remove his name from the letter. Hunter’s laptop contained evidence that the first son introduced the commander-in-chief to a Ukrainian businessman less than a year before then-Vice President Joe Biden pressured Ukrainian government officials to fire a prosecutor investigating the businessman’s company. Hunter had been hired to the board of a Ukrainian energy firm a year before Joe Biden’s meeting with the Ukrainian businessman. Clapper, and dozens of other former intelligence officials, wrote of the Hunter Biden laptop story, “If we are right, this is Russia trying to influence how Americans vote in this election, and we believe strongly that Americans need to be aware of this.” The letter was covered in a report by POLITICO that was published on October 19, 2020, and Biden referred to the letter in a debate with Trump three days later when Hunter’s laptop and foreign business dealings were brought up. Biden went on to win the 2020 election just two weeks later, but it would be another three years before the “Russian disinformation” claims put forth by the former intelligence officials were debunked by the DOJ. Conservative media organization PragerU was kicked off of the Google Play store on Friday shortly after it released its documentary “Dear Infidels: A Warning to America,” but the Big Tech company said the suspension was a mistake. Google notified PragerU that it had violated its “hate speech policy,” according to a screenshot shared by the conservative non-profit, and the app was booted from Android users’ mobile store, The Jerusalem Post reported. The Big Tech giant also told PragerU that its app went under a review, which found “content or speech asserting that a protected group is inhuman, inferior or worthy of being hated.” Hours later, however, Google said that the app had been reinstated “after further re-review,” and a Google spokesman told The Washington Examiner that the suspension was made in error. “In an email from Google, they said our recently removed app is now available ‘after further re-review,'” PragerU wrote on X. “Thank you to all of our amazing supporters who helped publicize this issue to force Google to reverse their earlier decision to remove our app from the store entirely.” The new documentary that PragerU suspected was the reason for Google’s suspension of its app “features first-hand accounts from those who escaped Islamic rule and have come to warn America.” “Radical Islam poses a significant threat to our freedom,” the documentary description states. “The rise of anti-American rhetoric and violence in cities and universities is a direct result of the indoctrination led by those perpetrating a religious war against the West.” PragerU, which was started by conservative writer and radio show host Dennis Prager, has been targeted by Google and YouTube in the past. The organization has sued the Big Tech platforms “for restricting over 200 videos, including videos on the Ten Commandments, which continue to be restricted by YouTube today,” PragerU said.
