Chicken Alfredo Casserole

Chicken Alfredo Casserole

Chicken Alfredo Casserole is packed with chunks of chicken, penne pasta, and a creamy, cheesy garlic Alfredo sauce- all baked together for an unforgettable meal! AN ITALIAN INSPIRED DINNER RECIPE I have a weird fascination for all things “alfredo”. I have created so many recipes that are alfredo inspired, it borderlines on the ridiculous – ha! From alfredo meatballs to alfredo tortellini, I got you covered if you are a creamy alfredo lover like! This a creamy dinner recipe that comes together in an hour (prep time and cook time) and is the ultimate comforting dinner. I find this is one of those meals that everyone loves. You just can’t go wrong with chicken and pasta in a cream sauce! FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:  What type of chicken works best? Cooked cubed chicken breasts, shredded rotisserie chicken, or thighs work perfectly in this dish.  Can I make this casserole ahead of time? Yes, assemble the casserole without baking, cover it tightly, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. When ready to bake, allow it to come to room temperature for 20-30 minutes and follow the baking instructions.  What should I serve with my Chicken and Pasta Alfredo Bake?  Serve with Garlic Bread, steamed veggies, Green Beans, or a simple side salad.   Can I add some vegetables to this? Absolutely! Steamed broccoli, spinach, or sautéed mushrooms are great additions that pair well with the creamy sauce.  How to store leftover Chicken Alfredo Casserole? Casserole should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.To Reheat: Warm individual portions in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, or reheat the entire  casserole in the oven at 350°F, covered with foil, for 20-25 minutes until heated through. I do not recommend freezing this recipe due to the creamy Alfredo sauce.  INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (SEE RECIPE CARD BELOW FOR THE FULL RECIPE) penne pasta – you can use any similar shaped pasta like rotini or bowtie pasta. chicken breasts– you can use chicken tenderloins or chicken thighs. If you want to cut down on the prep time, you can use chicken that is already cooked (like a rotisserie chicken.) jarred Alfredo sauce– if you don’t want to use jarred sauce, try making your own Homemade Alfredo Sauce. I really like Rao’s alfredo sauce when I can get it for a decent price. cream cheese– Softening it really helps you’ll end up with a creamy, smooth sauce and it blends in much easier. If you forgot to take it out for it to soften, see my tips on How to Soften Cream Cheese Quickly. whole milk– really try sticking to whole milk for the full creamy factor. Don’t use 1% or 2%, or skim milk. You won’t end up with the same result. garlic – I prefer fresh garlic but if all you have is the jarred stuff then go for it. Italian seasoning  shredded mozzarella cheese – I love the Kraft mozzarella cheese that has Philadelphia cream cheese in it. I love the way it melts. Feel free to add more cheese to your preference. grated parmesan cheese– the stuff in the green bottle works just fine here. HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN ALFREDO CASSEROLE: Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside. Heat 2 Tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until golden and fully cooked. Set aside.  In a large bowl, mix Alfredo sauce, softened cream cheese, milk, garlic, Italian seasoning,  1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper until well combined. Add the cooked pasta and chicken to the sauce mixture, stirring until well coated. Stir in 1 cup mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup parmesan cheese.  Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella and  parmesan cheese. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10  minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with fresh or dried parsley, if desired.  CRAVING MORE RECIPES?  Olive Garden Chicken Alfredo Chicken Alfredo Pizza Chicken Alfredo Tortellini Meatball Alfredo Garlic Parmesan Fettuccine Alfredo Crock Pot Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Crock Pot Chicken Alfredo for Two Crock Pot White Lasagna Print Chicken Alfredo Casserole All the tasty flavors you know and love of traditional Chicken Alfredo, but made in a casserole dish. Sally Struthers Opens Up About Being Fat-Shamed By Betty White

Betty White was a beloved and well-known TV star in the ‘90s. The actress passed away in December 2021, however, rumors about her life and legacy have continued to surface. Betty White was adored and loved by many, petitions were even signed to get her to guest host ‘Saturday Night Live.’  However, not all reviews about her have been glowing. Sally Struthers, known for her role in All in the Family, recently decided to speak up about her less-than-positive experience with White. Struthers, who had long kept her feelings private, opened up about an encounter with White that she felt was hurtful during an interview on the “Let’s Talk About That! With Larry Saperstein and Jacob Bellotti” podcast. Now, after White’s death, Struthers felt it was the right time to share her side of the story. Sally Struthers shared that Betty White fat-shamed her Sally Struthers/Everett Sally Struthers recalled a specific instance that stood out during her time working with Betty White. The incident took place at a meeting about a new game show, a project they were both involved in. Struthers described the scene as she and others gathered to discuss the show when White asked her housekeeper to bring in a plate of snacks for everyone to enjoy. As Struthers reached for a cookie, White, in front of everyone in the room, allegedly made a comment that left Struthers uncomfortable. “Oh, I wouldn’t do that if I were you, dear. You don’t need a cookie,” White reportedly said, fat-shaming Struthers in a passive-aggressive tone. The remark shocked Struthers, who mentioned how hurtful it was for White to single her out in such a way. Struthers, who had already experienced weight-related comments throughout her career, found the remark particularly disheartening coming from someone she had hoped would be a professional peer, and she thought, “Gosh, that’s not nice.” Betty White/Everett Sally Struthers’ struggles with weight comments Weight-related comments have been a recurring theme in Sally Struthers’ career, and she shared how these remarks affected her, both personally and professionally. Another moment that stuck with her was when she was cast as Gloria Stivic on All in the Family. Struthers mentioned that All in the Family creator Norman Lear said she was not the funniest person to audition, so she asked him why he picked her. Lear told Struthers bluntly that her casting was based on her physical appearance. The producers assumed that Archie would be a lot to swallow for the American audiences with his bigotry and his social slurs. So, they decided to soften him up by giving him a soft spot for his daughter. “So, we hired you because, just like Carroll O’Connor, you have blue eyes and a fat face,” she concluded. Sally Struthers/Everett While Struthers had initially hoped for a more positive reason for her casting, she soon realized that her weight was a huge factor in the role she would play. Despite the challenges and hurtful comments, Struthers’ portrayal of Gloria earned her two Emmy Awards. Sally Struthers has also continued to thrive in her career. Riley Keough Revisits Getting Arrested – And The Blowout From Her Late Mom Later On!

The eldest grandchild of the King of Rock and Roll, Riley Keough, has opened up about her tumultuous teenage years, revealing the stress and anxiety she caused her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley. Like many adolescents, Keough navigated a rebellious phase marked by experimentation and pushing boundaries. However, her actions took a toll on her mother, who was already dealing with the pressures of being the daughter of Elvis Presley and a high-profile celebrity in her own right. In a recent interview, the DaisyJones& the Six actress reflected on her teenage years, offering a candid glimpse into her experiences and the impact they had on her relationship with her mother. Riley Keough speaks about her brush with the law as a teenager Riley Keough/Instagram In a recent episode of the popular podcast Call Her Daddy, which aired on January 15, Keough shared a personal and previously undisclosed story about a challenging experience from her past. The 35-year-old actress revealed that she had been arrested as a minor. According to her, the arrest was for breaking and entering, although she maintained that it was a genuine misunderstanding rather than a deliberate act of mischief. Riley went on to explain the circumstances of the arrest, recounting how she had attended a party at a house that she believed belonged to a friend. However, it was only later that she discovered the unsettling truth: the house was actually a property for sale, and she had unwittingly become a trespasser. Riley Keough/Instagram Riley Keough says her late mom was disappointed with his arrest The mother of one further explained that when the incident occurred, she was arrested in the company of ten other people. She recalled the moment when she had to call her mother to come pick her up from jail, a phone call that was undoubtedly fraught with tension and concern. Understandably, Lia Marie was upset by the news of her daughter’s arrest, and Riley acknowledged the disappointment and worry that her mother felt at that moment. Riley Keough/Instagram Due to the incident, Keough faced a punishment that would have a significant impact on her daily life: a three-month grounding that coincided with her birthday. However, despite the severity of the occurrence, she expressed relief that the brief brush with the law never made the headlines, sparing her and her family from the intense scrutiny and embarrassment that often accompanies public attention. LA Fires Update: Fire Experts Seek Answers Amid Raging Los Angeles Fires

It has been a week since wildfires began in Southern California, and fire experts and arson investigators have yet to discover exactly how it broke out, noting that it may take weeks or months to arrive at a definite conclusion. Although media outlets, residents, and social media users, including celebrities, have shared their thoughts about the origin of the disaster, there is no confirmation from official sources. More than 40,000 acres have been affected by the Palisades, Eaton, and Hurst fires, with a death toll of up to 25 people across these areas. What may have caused the fires: LA fires update LA Fire/Instagram CNN analyzed satellite images and dispatch recordings showing that a separate fire began on New Year’s Day, and although it spread to about 8 acres, local firefighters were able to contain it. According to Professor Luca Carmignani of San Diego State University, who has studied wildfires, the lit debris from the New Year’s celebratory fireworks may have reignited due to the winds. Luca took care to warn that his statement is merely a speculation and should not be taken as fact. On the other hand, Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley said during Sunday’s news conference that there is no proof that the two fires are connected. Officials give LA fires update, admit to slow progress with investigations For those wondering if the fires are still burning in California, the state website continues to give updates about the incident, showing important details like how many acres have been razed, what structures have been affected, and the number of fatalities. LA Fire/Instagram Like the fleeing residents and others concerned, fire officials cannot figure out why the fires are still burning in California, although 95 percent of outbreaks are caused by people through acts like arson, a backyard barbecue, fireworks celebrations, or a downed power line. According to retired Los Angeles County Sheriff’s arson investigator and profiler Ed Nordskog, figuring out the source of the wildfires is tedious, dirty, and not fun. The retired Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives fire investigator Mike Vergon— who also worked on the agency’s National Response Team in charge of large fires and explosions, echoed Ed’s sentiment, calling the investigations a monumental task. The Palisades fire containment team, including the ATF National Response, has begun assessing the area, which comes after Eaton as the second most destructive wildfire in Southern California history. LA Fire/Instagram Tim Jones of ATF is confident in the Palisades fire containment team and others, some of whom attended to New Orleans’ terror attack on New Year’s Day and a cyber truck explosion outside of the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. The Palisades fire containment team requests patience as fires continue to burn in California Judging by recent updates from the Palisades fire containment team and investigators, it is unrealistic to expect answers anytime soon. For example, the 2023 wildfires in Maui did not receive a definite report until a year later, and a worse case like that of Southern California may take even longer. Although a few arrests have been made, retired ATF fire investigator Dixon Robin says evidence left behind by arsonists will be damaged but useful for investigation. The Palisades fire containment is still at 17% per the latest updates, and there has been an official warning about stronger winds to surrounding residents. Being a highbrow part of Southern California, many famous people who live there have had to evacuate. LA Fire/Instagram The likes of Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal, Tom Hanks, Ricki Lake, Mandy Moore, couple Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, Kate Beckinsale, and many more have had to bid their property a painful goodbye as the inferno razed them down. Fans and fellow celebrities have shown their support on and off social media through volunteer acts, donations, and calling for funding. ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ Star Patricia Heaton Criticizes California Leadership Amid LA Fire Crisis

Patricia Heaton has openly criticized the government of California, condemning their lack of preparation for the LA wildfires. She also noted that the areas affected have learned some “harsh lessons” by waiting for the government to do what they were supposed to do on their own. The Los Angeles wildfires started on January 7 and have claimed at least 25 lives and destroyed thousands of properties worth billions of dollars. While firefighters battled to contain the fire across 45 square miles, Patricia Heaton gave her opinion about the residents of the affected areas and leadership in Los Angeles. Patricia Heaton emphasized that residents should henceforth unite and take action rather than rely solely on government intervention because when people come together, they are able to make things happen in society. “Sadly, this is a very, very harsh lesson,” she said.             View this post on Instagram                         A post shared by Susan Thomas (@susanthomasrealestate)   Patricia Heaton joins others to support affected residents According to recent updates, the Los Angeles wildfires have displaced over 88,000 residents from their homes and businesses. Some have also lost a significant amount of money to damages caused by the fires. Meanwhile, Patricia Heaton has joined with LA Dream Center and other stars like Kathie Lee Gifford and Chris Pratt to support the people affected and provide relief funds. Patricia Heaton/ImageCollect Although Patricia Heaton has moved from Los Angeles to Nashville, Tennessee, her four sons still live in Los Angeles. She mentioned that her decision to leave was influenced by concerns about taxes, crime, and natural disasters. Now, the actress believes that after these wildfires, more residents, including Hollywood stars may follow her example by moving to Nashville.
