‘Accountability Is Coming’: Stephen Miller Promises Trump Admin Will Target Rogue Bureaucracy

Incoming Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said on Sunday that the Trump administration will remind bureaucrats that they work for the American people. Miller spoke at Trump’s Victory Rally in Washington, D.C., Sunday evening to a crowd of ecstatic Trump supporters who traveled to the nation’s capital to celebrate the inauguration. To begin his speech, Miller looked ahead to the inauguration of Trump on Monday, saying, “In just one more day, it is goodbye Joe Biden, goodbye Kamala Harris, goodbye Democrats, and hello to the golden age of America, and welcome back Donald J. Trump.” “It’s been four long years. It felt like 400 years,” he remarked. “Four years of weakness, four years of humiliation and embarrassment, four years of persecution, four years of inflation, poverty, incompetence, four years of betrayal, four years of wide open, undefended, unprotected open borders.” Miller later added, “Accountability is coming. The whole federal bureaucracy is about to learn that they don’t work for themselves; they work for you, they work for President Trump, and they work for the American people. We are about to get our country back and our democracy back.” Miller, who worked under Trump during his first term as a senior adviser for policy and White House director of speechwriting, will soon head back to the White House as deputy chief of staff and to advise Trump on Homeland Security issues. The longtime Trump loyalist has focused on cracking down on illegal immigration and spoke repeatedly on Sunday about Trump’s goal to secure the southern border after record border crossings reported under the Biden administration. CELEBRATE #47 WITH 47% OFF DAILYWIRE+ MEMBERSHIPS + A FREE $20 GIFT The incoming deputy chief of staff also rehashed the Left’s attempts to derail Trump’s 2024 campaign, along with the numerous court battles the president-elect faced and the attempts on his life. “The Democrat Party and the radical Left did everything in their power to try and put President Trump in jail. They lied about him, they framed him, they smeared him, they defamed him,” Miller said. “They indicted him, they tried to imprison him and to take away his freedom, to take away his family, to take away his business, to take away your voice, your future, to take away your hopes, your dreams, your government, your country. And Donald Trump nearly lost his life on a stage in Butler, Pennsylvania, and then again a few weeks later.” “No matter what they threw at him, no matter the danger, no matter the horrors, no matter the abuse, no matter the corruption, no matter the persecution, no matter how much the broken children tried to stop that man, he would not be stopped because he has always been fighting for you.” WATCH IN FULL: Incoming Deputy Chief of Staff @StephenM addresses the Trump Celebratory Victory Rally ? pic.twitter.com/4hjET65Qwk — Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) January 19, 2025

‘Greatest Win Of All Time’: Jon Voight Pumps Trump Victory At Pre-Inauguration Rally

Acclaimed actor Jon Voight rallied with Trump supporters at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., on Sunday ahead of President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration. Voight celebrated Trump’s November victory over Vice President Kamala Harris, calling the election outcome “the greatest win of all time.” “What an honor it is for me to be up here in front of you great men and women who’ve all come here to celebrate the greatest win of all time – the greatest win of all time, the victory we were all fighting for to save our country, our democracy,” Voight said to resounding cheers. “And I’m so grateful that I’m able to say that Donald J. Trump is the 47th President of the United States of America.” He went on to say that Trump would make the United States “thrive again, he will make America great again, safe again.” “Donald J. Trump fought hard to save this country, and now he will bring God back to our nation’s truths. He will make her thrive again. He will save the greatest country, America the beautiful,” Voight said. CELEBRATE #47 WITH 47% OFF DAILYWIRE+ MEMBERSHIPS + A FREE $20 GIFT Voight’s remarks lasted about three-and-a-half minutes and followed soon after a performance by Kid Rock, which featured a recorded message from Trump urging rally-goers to “make America rock again.” “God bless Donald Trump, and may God watch over him, and may he be sworn into the White House with the blessings of the Almighty. God bless, God bless everybody. It’s great to be with you. Much love,” Voight said as he walked off the stage, making room for one of Trump’s longtime advisers and staffers, Stephen Miller. #BREAKING: LIVE: JON VOIGHT (Actor) speaks at Trump Victory Rally. Officials have moved the inauguration ceremony into the Capitol building because of frigid weather expected on the day of the event. The traditional parade for the inauguration has been canceled, though officials are reportedly considering having Trump take his first actions as president, signing a slate of executive orders, from a stage set up in Capital One arena. Prior to the rally, Trump visited Arlington National Cemetery and took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It was Trump’s first visit to Arlington since taking part in a memorial for the 13 soldiers who died during the Afghanistan withdrawal in 2021.

Speaker Johnson: U.S. ‘Will Enforce The Law’ On TikTok Ban, China Must Fully Divest

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said during an interview on Sunday that the U.S. Congress will “enforce the law” that requires TikTok to be fully divested from communist China or else be banned in the United States. Johnson made the remarks when asked by Kristen Welker on NBC News’ “Meet The Press” if the U.S. was sending a “message of weakness” to China after President-elect Donald Trump signaled support for trying to save the app earlier in the day. “No, I think we will enforce the law,” Johnson said. “And when President Trump issued the truth post and said, ‘Save TikTok,’ the way we read that is that he’s going to try to force along a true divestiture, changing of the hands, the ownership.” “It’s not the platform that members of Congress are concerned about,” he noted. “It’s the Chinese Communist Party and their manipulation of the algorithms. They have been flooding the minds of American children with terrible messages, glorifying violence and anti-Semitism and even suicide and eating disorders. I mean, crazy kind of stuff. And they’re mining the data of American citizens. It’s a very dangerous thing.” CELEBRATE #47 WITH 47% OFF DAILYWIRE+ MEMBERSHIPS + A FREE $20 GIFT “The Chinese Communist Party is not our friend. And we have to make sure this changes hands,” he added. “I’m really heartened to see that Google and Apple and Microsoft have taken the steps to comply with the law. There needs to be a sale, a full divestiture from the Chinese Communist Party. And I think President Trump is the one who can make that deal happen, so we’re excited about it.” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) says Congress “will enforce the law” ensuring that TikTok is completely sold or it will be banned. He says there must be “a full divestiture from the Chinese Communist Party,” not just a 50% sale. He adds: “It’s not the platform that members of… pic.twitter.com/TRnWS3vWtT — Ryan Saavedra (@RealSaavedra) January 19, 2025 Related: TikTok Restores Service Without Change After Trump Statement Of Support

PETTY: ABC’s Mary Bruce Says Crowd Size Concerns, Not Bitter Cold, Driving Trump Inaugural Indoors

Leading up to the second inauguration of President Donald Trump, it is evident that the Regime Media has decided to revert to Resistance mode, instinctively covering everything with an adversarial angle. This includes coverage and pre-analysis of the inaugural itself. Watch as ABC Chief White House Correspondent (and Biden apple polisher) Mary Bruce attributes the decision to shift the inaugural ceremony indoors not to the expected brutal cold, but to concerns over crowd sizes.  FROM REGIME MEDIA TO RESISTANCE MEDIA: ABC's resident Biden sycophant Mary Bruce suggests that the moving of the Trump Inaugural indoors is about mitigating bad crowd sizes pic.twitter.com/bNZ1frRObi — Jorge Bonilla (@BonillaJL) January 19, 2025 ABC THIS WEEK 1/19/24 9:48 AM JON KARL: Mary, let me start with you. The inauguration is inside, big change. MARY BRUCE: Yeah. They're starting from scratch. It's a huge change, and look. There's no doubt that Donald Trump clearly wanted to have that image of him out on the west front of the Capitol taking the Oath of Office, and now that is all completely changed. The forecast we know is going to be brutal. The President-Elect says he's doing this because of the danger. It certainly, though, also lets them avoid the potential for smaller crowds because of the cold. It means he’s going to have less interaction with his -- with his supporters. We know that that image of the crowds is important to him. And look, these things are in the works for years. I mean, they have been putting up the reviewing stands since before the election. KARL: Yeah. BRUCE: And now they have to redo everything. I mean, the guest list of 1,600 outside the Capitol now has to be scrapped to 600. That’s a nightmare for any party planner. KARL: I hate to be the one. BRUCE: But it means that dignitaries, tech billionaires- everyone is scrambling. I will say this lastly though, the President-Elect understands political stagecraft better than anyone. So whether it’s inside or outside, he’s going to connect with his supporters and have those indelible images. You will recall that the first dumb media controversy of the first Trump presidency, as the Russia Hoax percolated in the background, was the flap over the crowd sizes at the inauguration. So it’s not shocking to see Bruce appeal to that, even though no one outside of the extremely online left was talking about crowd sizes. Although concern over the brutal cold is the official reason cited for moving the inauguration indoors, there are many reasonable individuals with national security backgrounds who hold that an outdoor inaugural posed a reckless security risk in light of ongoing threats against the President-Elect, and an Iranian operative already in custody related to an assassination plot. None of that entered into Bruce’s head as she sought to advance a Trump-adverse narrative. Exit question: what would media reaction have been had the inaugural been moved indoors for a frail Joe Biden?

Why Hamas deals are built on bad faith

Why Hamas deals are built on bad faith

As a businessman with 30 years of negotiation experience, I’ve learned two vital principles: First, structure deals you’d accept if roles were reversed to ensure mutual respect and stability. Second, ambiguity is destructive. Clear terms and pathways are essential to prevent misinterpretation and bad faith, especially in phased agreements. Good faith — truth, commitment, and transparency — must underpin every successful deal. Any deal that does not demand the release of all hostages now is set up to fail. The proposed Israel-Hamas ceasefire and hostage exchange deal is fraught with risks. The release of thousands of Palestinian prisoners, 20% of whom have long sentences and are likely convicted murderers, among whom are likely to be many would-be Sinwar replacements, in exchange for 33 Israeli hostages — freed incrementally over six weeks — invites bad faith. This staggered approach requires Israel’s continued negotiation with terrorists. Hamas will use the time to rearm, reorganize, and manipulate terms. Hamas is a terrorist organization rooted in violence and deceit. Trusting Hamas to uphold agreements is unrealistic. For lasting peace, Hamas must be disbanded, its leadership held accountable, and Gaza demilitarized. The genocide of Jews and the destruction of Israel are at the heart of the Hamas charter. Hamas represents the lovers of death. The organization is fragmented, and I do not believe there stands one person who has the authority to bind any “deal” — another misnomer in all of this. The Iranian regime will continue supporting and forcing its proxies of terror to its desired outcome, which is to unleash terror and pursue its mission of global jihad. It is unlikely that Hamas will be allowed to give up its only leverage, which guarantees its survival. Any deal that does not demand the release of all hostages now is set up to fail, because there is too long a period and too much left undefined. I am sorry, but this deal is not set up for success. I hope we can get as many hostages as possible home alive and consider these events yet another phase in the war of October 7.
