A 38-year-old cancer patient who developed COVID-19 was pressured five times in 24 hours to sign a DNR order. He refused, but he died after the hospital administered a combination of midazolam and morphine, usually reserved for end-of-life care, according to his wife who testified in Scotland’s COVID-19 inquiry. On a recent episode of his YouTube show, medical commentator John Campbell, Ph.D., shared the “absolutely tragic” testimony of Lianne Menzies about the death of her 38-year-old husband, Jamie, after he was diagnosed with COVID-19. The segment is part of Campbell’s coverage of Scotland’s ongoing COVID-19 Inquiry, which includes testimony from government officials and Scottish citizens affected by the country’s COVID-19 response. The independent inquiry, which concluded testimonies today after more than 50 days, is investigating failures in Scotland’s response — including how hospitals administered dangerous end-of-life protocols when they may not have been necessary. When Jamie was admitted to the Monklands Hospital Airdrie in March 2020, he had been undergoing intense cancer treatment. He refused, but the hospital staff continued to press him, asking him to sign the DNR five times within 24 hours. He refused each time and begged his wife never to sign one for him. Such practices are “completely unacceptable,” said Campbell, who has a Ph.D. in nursing and over four decades of clinical experience. “We should not be terrifying our patients. This is not good clinical care.” A doctor later diagnosed Jamie with COVID-19, but said he was improving. He was up and around, joking and seemed well in their Facetime chat, Menzies testified. The next day, she said, hospital staff asked her if she understood that Jamie was going to die. They gave him midazolam, a strong benzodiazepine, to sleep. She was shocked. Campbell, whose previous show outlined the dangerous and often unnecessary combination of midazolam and morphine administered to many COVID-19 patients as “end-of-life” care, said he has never seen midazolam given to help someone sleep. That night, Jamie and Lianne were married by the hospital chaplain. The next day, the staff called Lianne back to the hospital because “It was time.” She said Jamie was screaming and terrified because he couldn’t breathe. They administered a rotation of midazolam and morphine and he died. Campbell shared commentary by pathologist Dr. Clare Craig, who said the testimonies have shown that in many cases, hospitals were refusing to admit people who had DNRs, effectively denying medical care to those people. Also, Craig said, the protocols instituted were binary, people were either treated and put on ventilators, or they were given end-of-life care. Craig said that end-of-life care would have been appropriate for some people, but the testimonies reveal a large number of people who “under other circumstances would have been treated very differently.” Without family present for support and care, they were given these dangerous and powerful drugs. In 2020, palliative care experts raised concerns about the protocols because ”they were very explicit about how you accelerated the drug but said nothing about winding it down,” she said. The drugs suppress the respiratory drive, and are very useful in some cases she said. That’s called grooming,' ENCINITAS, California (LifeSiteNews) – Concerned parents descended on a California school board meeting Tuesday to protest the exposure of children as young as fifth grade to a book about LGBTQ “empower(ment),” with Miss California 2009 Carrie Prejean Boller among those speaking out. My Shadow Is Pink, a 2021 picture book by Scott Stuart, “touches on the subjects of gender identity, self-acceptance, equality and diversity” through a little boy’s liking of “princesses, fairies,” and other subjects conflicting with gender norms, according to the official product description. The book “(e)mpowers LBGTQ children and the wider community with its strong and powerful message” while “(t)eaching children the concept of diversity, equality and inclusion” and “(h)ighlighting current themes of gender identity.” “My shadow loves ponies and books and pink toys, princesses, fairies, and things not for boys,” says the protagonist, who is purportedly inspired by Stuart’s real-life son. “But there’s one thing it likes most I have found … It loves wearing dresses and dancing around!” The child’s father initially meets his son’s “shadow” with a glare, insisting it will eventually “turn blue” (meaning more stereotypically masculine). But when the boy is overwhelmed by self-doubt after he wears a dress to his first day of school, his father comes around, cross-dressing himself in a show of support, realizing “it’s not just a shadow, it’s your inner-most you.” The fictional Dad reveals that their family is full of people with “hidden” shadows, including a female relative who “likes girls.”URGENT! The story ends without revealing his reception from the class.  San Diego Fox affiliate KSWB reported that a controversy has arisen in Encinitas Union School District (EUSD), where parents of fifth-grade children exposed to the book took their objections to the school board, though no action has yet been taken as a result. “Everyone can read a book and get different things out of it, but the idea we want to have as parents of our children is a choice of what the book is showing,”” area mother Christian Ryan said. “Does it line up with our values, our faith, the things we want for our children?” Among those who spoke out was Carrie Prejean Boller, the 2009 winner of the Miss California pageant who made national news that year by answering that she believed marriage should be “between a man and a woman.” She received intense condemnation from Miss USA organizers and LGBT allies in the media, and her answer appeared to have kept her from advancing to the Miss USA crown. Since then, she has been vocal for conservative causes, including opposition to COVID-19 mandates. On May 7, Boller began using her Instagram profile to raise awareness about EUSD using My Shadow Is Pink, including an exercise in which children as young as five were told to draw their “shadows” and color in their “true identity.”  Two days later, she shared an email La Costa Heights Elementary School principal Christie Kay sent to EUSD parents doubling down on the district’s stance. Kay declared that “LCH has a long-standing tradition of inclusion and a beautiful sense of community,” but “recent divisiveness in our school community regarding books and curriculum is disheartening. It is incumbent upon all of us to remind ourselves of the importance of making space for a variety of perspectives and viewpoints.” Boller helped encourage area parents to attend Tuesday’s meeting, as well as publicized the opt-out form parents can use to protect their kids from certain content and surveys. She also posted multiple videos from the meeting, including the board blocking most parents from entering the meeting room by filling seats with teachers, and her own remarks. “Do you know what Encinitas Union School District is known for across the world?” she asked the board members. “Grooming children! Can you believe that? That’s what you’re famous for. That’s what you’re known for. Are you proud of that?” “How many of you by a raise of hands were OK with the book ‘My Shadow Is Pink’? Raise your hands, on record, that you’re okay with the book ‘My Shadow Is Pink,’” she went on. “None of you are OK with it! None of you are OK with it. Politicians in cahoots with sex trafficking. There are at least five hotels in Massachusetts where sex offenders are either employed or housed, and those same hotels are being packed with illegal alien children by Gov. Maura Healey’s Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC). According to a Boston Globe report, the sex offenders were convicted of things like indecent assault and battery on children, child rape and child pornography, among other heinous sex crimes. The EOHLC’s Kevin Conner released a statement claiming that caring for “the safety and wellbeing of the 7,500 families in Emergency Assistance shelter is a priority for our administration.” “We will continue to take all possible steps to ensure the safety of EA residents and carefully review any situation that comes before us to act quickly to protect families,” Connor added. According to Connor, his agency checks the database every six months to verify which “shelters” have workers or residents on the Sex Offender Registry Board. Healey released a bizarre statement claiming that “everybody, including him, who enters our shelter locations is vetted.” Apparently that vetting is not working so well, though, because children continue to get exploited and taken advantage of by adult perverts who are slipping through the cracks. “This shouldn’t be happening,” said Carline Desire, executive director of the Association of Haitian Women. “They need to get those sex offenders out.” The Globe report found that never once were families living at these shelters informed that they were living with convicted sex offenders. It appears as though the powers that be intentionally kept it all a secret. One resident who has daughters living with him at one of the shelters told the media that he was never informed about any of the deviants living at his location. “These posters of sex offenders are hanging out at the police station,” he commented. “They should be here. There are a lot of kids here.” Keep in mind that these types of facilities exist, supposedly, to protect families and children from sexual assault. It turns out the fox has been hiding in the henhouse all along with the government’s blessing. Last summer, Healey declared a state of emergency in Massachusetts due to state shelters being overfilled with people. There are now overflow sites being set up at other hotels, churches and dormitories across the state. Citing privacy concerns, the state of Massachusetts is withholding many of the addresses of private shelters. Collectively, all the shelters house about 7,500 families, roughly 50 percent of whom are migrants seeking asylum. The sex offenders identified by the Globe hail from Rockland, Saugus, Revere, Kingston and Northborough. One of the offenders from Revere pleaded guilty to arranging to meet with a 12-year-old boy for indecent acts at one of the “shelter” hotels. This individual was supposedly removed from his position of employment at the facility. In another instance, a man who was staying at the Baymont Hotel in Kingston was convicted of repeatedly assaulting a girl under the age of 14. “A man convicted of a child rape in Houston in 1990 was present at the Northborough Econo Lodge,” the Globe further reported. “A Level 3 sex offender convicted of indecent assault and batter of a child under 14 and rape and abuse of a child was living in at the Colonial Traveler Inn in Saugus.” America has a serious illegal alien problem. As Fox News reports, Biden made multiple mistakes during his speech which reflected his increased age and cognitive decline. Among other errors, Biden incorrectly stated that he was Vice President when the Chinese Coronavirus pandemic began, and further claimed that Obama gave him instructions on how to combat the pandemic; Donald Trump was President when the COVID pandemic began, and Mike Pence was Vice President at the time. “When I was vice president, things were kind of bad during the pandemic,” said Biden. “And, what happened was Barack [Obama] said to me: ‘Go to Detroit — help fix it.’” The transcript was altered to say “recession” instead of “pandemic,” hinting that Biden was referring to the 2009 economic recession at the beginning of Obama’s first term.
