Chuck Schumer Tries to Drum Up Enthusiasm for Kamala Harris but Gets Brutal Response When He Asks for Applause

Senator and amateur grilling enthusiast Chuck Schumer received a less-than-enthusiastic response when he asked a crowd to applaud the ascension of Vice President Kamala Harris to the Democratic Party's primary presidential ticket position. Schumer was joined Tuesday by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, announcing their endorsements of Harris in a...

The 'Gospel of Tolerance' Has a Choke Hold on the Gospel of Grace

The World's Highest Virtue You've heard it said "can't we all just get along?" And in our world, the tolerant are prized. Those who welcome all worldviews with open-arms and encourage all pursuits with approval are considered the tolerant ones. Love means accepting and approving, condoning and commending. This is what our cultural...

Watch: Joy Reid Says Black People Will 'Look Crazy' if They Don't Vote for Kamala Harris

You know what to expect. In fact, it has already begun. The disgusting racists in the establishment media, emboldened by a successful coup against President Joe Biden, have received their marching orders from the Democratic Party and have taken to social media with an all-out blitz designed to shame black...

Ten Times It Rained Animals (Yes, Animals)

When the Weather Girls first released “It’s Raining Men” in 1982, they had no idea how right they would be. That song is obviously fun, memorable, and catchy. But as it turns out, it’s also true! Okay, it’s not technically true. Men don’t rain down from the sky—except perhaps in some single woman’s dreams. It’s […] The post Ten Times It Rained Animals (Yes, Animals) appeared first on Listverse.

10 Desperate Last Stands That Ended in Victory

Thermopylae. The Alamo. Little Big Horn. All heroic last stands where the defenders were all wiped out. Yet these are the actions that we remember and celebrate in stories, legends, and movies. We find something compelling in such tales of courage in the face of inevitable defeat. But romanticism, when we come down to reality, […] The post 10 Desperate Last Stands That Ended in Victory appeared first on Listverse.

How Does UK View America’s Tumultuous Political Season?

Within less than two weeks, the world has watched as former President Donald Trump was almost assassinated, President Joe Biden announced he was ending his bid for reelection, and Vice President Kamala Harris has emerged as the leading choice for the Democratic Party nomination for president. From within the U.S., it feels like a tumultuous time in American politics. But how is the world—and specifically, the United Kingdom—viewing “the land of the free and home of the brave” right now?  The U.K. is “very concerned” by recent events in America, says Matthew Goodwin, a professor of politics and international relations at the University of Kent and a senior fellow at the Legatum Institute, a London think tank. “The attempted assassination of Donald Trump was seen as a symbol of a country that is very divided and polarized,” according to Goodwin. “There’s an awareness that the rhetoric has become extreme, not just around the former president, but also on the Left of American politics.”  Goodwin joins “The Daily Signal Podcast” to discuss Europeans’ views of America’s fraught election cycle, and to discuss the results of the U.K’s own recent elections that resulted in the worst-ever election defeat for Britain’s Conservative Party.  Listen to the podcast below: The post How Does UK View America’s Tumultuous Political Season?  appeared first on The Daily Signal.
