Cat Left in Carrier Starts Acting Like a Little 'Businessman' When Someone Steps Up to Help Him

A cat left in a carrier started acting like a little "businessman" and became his true self when someone stepped up to help him. TysonCommunityCatClubEarlier this year, a black-and-white cat was found in a carrier at a hockey game. No one came to claim him as he huddled quietly inside.A local veterinarian was at the game when she came across the abandoned cat. She couldn't leave him to fend for himself and took him home. Hungry and terrified, the cat named Tyson kept to himself, lying low to the ground while wolfing down a plate of food.Being in a carrier or a kennel was overwhelming for him. He snuck into a food container at the vet's office and tried to hide there. CommunityCatClubTyson needed a quiet place where he could decompress and let his true personality shine. A veterinary staff member who volunteers for Community Cat Club contacted her rescue and asked if they could help the deserving boy.Sara Sharp, founder of Community Cat Club, immediately sent out a foster request, hoping to get Tyson into a quiet home where he could relax and be himself. He snuck into a food container at the vet's officeCommunityCatClub"He was stressed at first and would even pull his own fur out," Sara shared with Love Meow. "We were desperate for a chill foster home for him."A volunteer saw the post and stepped up to foster him. Tyson was cautious upon arrival, his eyes darting around as he tried to take in every detail of his new space. CommunityCatClubRealizing he had food within reach, soft blankets and beds to sleep on, and kind humans to reassure him that he was safe, the fear in his eyes melted away. Gradually, he let his guard down and revealed his true self, surprising everyone."After about a week or so of being in foster care, his true personality showed." CommunityCatClubTyson became a source of joy and laughter. With his newfound confidence, he began sitting on the bed or couch like a little human with his front paws neatly resting on his lap."He is the epitome of a self-reliant feline. He's got a sense of humor that'll make you chuckle, often showing off his funny antics when you least expect it. Tyson's mellow nature makes him the perfect companion for a quiet evening at home." He started sitting upright like a little humanCommunityCatClubHe often casually leans on his people like a proper "businessman" who is always sharply dressed. He rests his elbow on them as if deep in thought, contemplating his next antic."He's also a cuddly little guy who, once he's warmed up to you, will snuggle up close for a heartwarming cuddle session." Tyson turned into a proper businessmanCommunityCatClubTyson thrives as a solo cat, the center of attention in his domain. His eyes follow every person in the room like he's a full-time supervisor, always ready to give purrs and snuggles or receive chin scratches. He no longer wants to hide away, knowing he will never be left outside again. CommunityCatClubWith his trust and hope restored, Tyson spends his day lounging and snoozing near his people. When he wakes up, he props himself upright, ready for business."Tyson is a bit of an independent soul, preferring to be the only cat in the house." CommunityCatClub"This unique combination of traits makes him a one-of-a-kind companion. He will provide endless entertainment, affection, and a sense of calm to your home."After almost four months in foster care, Tyson is ready to find a forever home where he will be loved and spoiled endlessly. Happy and lovedCommunityCatClubShare this story with your friends. ‘Troubling’: Expert Sounds Alarm on Radical Canadian Legislation to Kill Free Speech Online

If new legislation becomes law in Canada, citizens there could go to jail simply for exercising free speech against leftist dogma on social media platforms. Sinopsis senior fellow Charles Burton described the “chilling effect” the proposed Canadian Online Harms Act could have on free speech on the Aug. 19 edition of The John Batchelor Show. While the parliamentary bill addresses child pornography and “revenge porn” online, it also requires social media platforms to “actively reduce the risk of exposure to harmful content on their services” and proposes prison sentences of up to life for free speech that subjectively qualifies as “disinformation” or is deemed harmful or hateful. The bill would result in government pressure on Big Tech to censor speech, according to Burton. Burton told host Batchelor and his co-host — Fox News China expert Gordon Chang — that the bill “would create a new hate crime offense” for speech allegedly motivated by “hatred based on race, ethnic origin, color, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity or expression” with a “maximum penalty of imprisonment for life.” The Canadian government, continued Burton, “has gone outside of the normal legal channels to allow a timely enforcement through creating something called the Digital Safety Commission and the Digital Safety Ombudsman” for oversight. These Orwellian entities “would have enormous powers to investigate and coerce social media companies to act in a timely fashion to remove materials that this Digital Safety Commission, more or less on its own arbitrary basis, determines is unacceptable” online. Dan Schneider, VP of MRC Free Speech America, reacted to the ominous report, “Prime Minister Trudeau and his Canadian government are inches away from making everyday speech a major crime if that speech diverges from Trudeau’s belief system. I have not seen this kind of thuggish speech control outside of North Korea and the old Soviet Union.” Schneider continued, “Trudeau is bringing the nightmare of political dissidents in communist countries to a ‘democratic’ Western nation. Democrats in America have toyed with this same idea. But a real possibility is that a Kamala Harris administration could actually extradite US citizens to Canada for any social media posts the Canadian authoritarians determine run counter to Trudeau’s policy goals.”  On the show, Burton cited an example of a narrative in Canada, one without evidence but produced by woke propagandists, that Catholic-government schools for indigenous children were engaging in “genocidal behavior.” He explained why this is illustrative of a harrowing potential effect of the Act: “So if you challenge this narrative, you could be subject to life imprisonment. And there is further a ‘peace bond’ provision in the bill that if the Digital Safety Commission anticipates that someone might start to foment hatred or other acts unacceptable under this legislation, that they can be constrained about who they may communicate with, where they may go, and even be told that they couldn't drink alcohol or use any form of drugs during the period of this peace bond. And if you violate the peace bond, there's a prison sentence of a year.” Such legislation “certainly has a very dampening effect on people,” even before it’s passed, Burton added. Canadians, including government officials, are becoming increasingly afraid to exercise free speech, he noted. This is true even though the Canadian Constitution was previously amended with a Charter of Rights and Freedoms that, he said, “guarantees freedom of expression and the other freedoms that are very much similar to the U.S. Bill of Rights.”  Suppose, Burton posited, the Digital Safety Commission were to be composed of individuals who claim religious individuals’ objections to LGBTQ ideology are hateful. Could Canadians who affirm biological realities face “very serious consequences under this Act, as I say, up to life imprisonment”? Burton ended. It’s a truly ominous possibility. In America, Judge Terry Doughty in the Murthy v. Missouri case determined that it is very likely that the Biden-Harris administration unlawfully and unconstitutionally colluded with and coerced Big Tech platforms to censor Biden’s political opponents, violating their constitutionally-protected free speech rights.  In the UK, meanwhile, multiple individuals have been sent to jail for supposedly “hateful” online posts. It seems Canada’s government is aiming for an even more extreme approach than either the UK or U.S., threatening Canadians who dare to have “divergent opinions that the leftists would define as fomenting hatred against certain groups,” as Burton said. Conservatives are under attack. Contact your representatives and demand that Big Tech be held to account to mirror the First Amendment and provide an equal platform for conservatives. If you have been censored, contact us using MRC Free Speech America’s contact form, and help us hold Big Tech accountable.

Politico Aids Post-Convention Kamala Push By Floating ‘Movement’ Label

Politico Aids Post-Convention Kamala Push By Floating ‘Movement’ Label

It seemed the Democrats were test marketing a new label with the aid of Politico's Friday Read that they seem to hope would take the 2024 race by storm. That magic label now being test marketed by the Democrats supposedly to describe the Kamala Harris presidential campaign was, wait for it, "movement." It seems to be the sad duty of poor Michael Kruse of Politico on Friday to put that "movement" label out there to see if the public laughs it off the campaign trail in "The Surprising Word Democrats Keep Using to Describe Kamala Harris’ Campaign." Although Kruse seems to have the unenviable task of hyping the utterly artificial (in this situation) label, he also appears to be subtly undermining the idea of the Kamala Harris campaign as a movement by going hilariously over the top with the hype: ...From the United Center to the convention center to the ballrooms and halls of the delegate-housing hotels, from stages to caucus meetings to the roster of wee-hours parties, people were using a word loaded with historical weight. Is Harris already or can she be, people were asking, not only a candidate for president but actually, and rather remarkably, the leader of a political movement? Come on, Michael. Confess that you were cracking up with laughter while typing out those words, describing the campaign of a candidate who got her start via Willie Brown and later did so poorly in her 2020 presidential primary that she won not a single delegate. Although "movement" was mentioned 27 times in the story, Kruse seemed to be mocking it at the same time with observations such as these: Even so, given her boffo fundraising, her surging crowds, her spiking polling and favorability rating and a TikTok and meme game that’s getting Gen Z reengaged, the question’s being asked. Tonally and generationally, along gender and racial lines, is this the precipice of some sort of tectonic shift? Kamala has a meme game? Right! You just know that Kruse is now pulling our legs which he continues to do with laugh lines such as this quote from Maryland Governor Wes Moore: “I think what we’re seeing right now is not just about a political campaign. I think what we’re seeing right now is the American people have a choice about what type of country that we want to be. That,” he said, “is a movement.” And if you still think Kruse is not pushing back at his "movement" hype assignment, then read this quote by a Democrat strategist with a "proto-phenomenon" bloviation: “At times,” the longtime Democratic strategist Doug Sosnik wrote of Harris and her candidacy in a recent memo, “it appears that she is leading more of a movement than a political campaign.” Sosnik is one of the most prominent voices invoking this proto-phenomenon. Reagan, Trump and Barack Obama, in the estimation of the 67-year-old Sosnik, are the three political movements of his lifetime. “Harris is not the leader of a movement right now. She’s still the leader of a campaign,” he told my colleague Ryan Lizza in the wake of the release of his memo. “But she has been making strides, and she could by the end of the month — particularly if the convention goes well in Chicago — she could be at a point where she’s a head of a movement, which is bigger than a candidate, and that’s pretty much unstoppable. And if you are leading a movement, issues don’t matter, nothing matters. She’s not there, but she’s not far from being there.” Kruse tops that laughable Democrat hype by serving up even more laughter care of another Democrat strategist in the midst of a Kamala as JFK ecstasy: Think bigger, said Hank Sheinkopf, the veteran Democratic strategist who’s worked on campaigns in more than 40 states for going on 40 years. He casted all the way back to 1960, to John F. Kennedy. “She is closer to JFK,” Sheinkopf told me. “New generation. New global order. Changing national economy,” he said. “The political and the social are united in the Harris moment. The reversal of Reaganism in total. A return to a war against poverty. The continuation of the Cold War. A fight for Medicare all over again. Returning respect for labor unions,” he said. “JFK redux.” But wait! If you weren't done laughing about Kamala as a "JFK redux," Kruse maked the Democrats look even more ridiculous by quoting Stephan Smith (described as the "online engagement director for Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg's presidential campaign in 2020"), who presents us with the hilarious idea of Franklin Delano Kamala: Obama, of course, was a historic candidate and president, but he wasn’t in the end the leader of a movement, I suggested to people I talked to this week. The reaction to Obama was Trump. Bill Clinton definitely was generationally new, but his presidency was a reaction to Reagan, a function of the necessity of Democrats having to find a way to bend to Reagan to win, and it didn’t lead to durable Democratic control. If anything, it was the runway to the last quarter-century and then some of ever-increasing partisanship and polarization. And JFK? He and Lyndon B. Johnson in the most immediate sense led to Richard Nixon, to the Southern strategy, to the regional and ideological resorting of America’s two major political parties. Is it, then, possible that Kamala Devi Harris (KDH?) could be more of a leader of a political movement than any of them? “FDR didn’t know what was going to happen in 1932. All he knew was it’s a crisis, the country’s in danger, and people have given me what seems like an improbable-for-the-time landslide victory, and now I have to use this power to do the right thing,” Smith told me. “So we don’t know,” he said. “We are birthing something new. No matter what, that is what is happening, period. My bet is that on the other side we are looking at Kamala wins and a 1932 situation.” Kruse entertained the readers with yet more such over the top Democrat hype about their new miracle word. Although, he did miss the opportunity to warn that using that word so frequently in a campaign would almost inevitably invoke images and memes of the type of movement that happens when one sits upon a porcelain throne.

'Epic' 2,492-carat diamond unearthed

Brace yourselves, gentlemen: the bar has been raised. A Canadian firm announced on Wednesday that it had excavated one of the largest diamonds ever from Botswana's Karowe Diamond MineLucara Diamond Corp. said the "epic" discovery — which it claims is one of the "largest rough diamonds ever unearthed" — is a "remarkable find." The 2,492-carat stunner is said to be the second-largest diamond ever discovered. The unnamed diamond could be worth upward of $40 million. The fabulous find was enabled by cutting edge Mega Diamond Recovery X-ray Transmission technology."The technology works by recognizing and separating the precious stones by their atomic density, enabling miners to catch bumper gemstones before they are put in harm's way," according to the U.K.-based Financial Times newspaper.Lucara president and CEO William Lamb said, "We are ecstatic about the recovery of this extraordinary 2,492-carat diamond. This find not only showcases the remarkable potential of our Karowe Mine, but also upholds our strategic investment in cutting-edge XRT technology."Lamb added, "The ability to recover such a massive, high-quality stone intact demonstrates the effectiveness of our approach to diamond recovery and our commitment to maximizing value for our shareholders and stakeholders."The Financial Times reported that people close to Lucara, whom it did not name, estimated that the unnamed diamond could be worth upward of $40 million.Lucara's market valuation spiked by over $40 million on Thursday to nearly $150 million, according to Business Insider. Lucara Botswana has sold 216 diamonds for over $1 million each and over eleven diamonds for more than $10 million each. The Karowe Diamond Mine is 100% owned by Lucara Diamond and has produced four other diamonds over 1,000 carats in the last decade. The previous second-biggest mined diamond in the world was a whopping 1,758 carats and was discovered at the same mine in 2019. The precious stone — known as the Sewelo diamond — was purchased by French fashion house Louis Vuitton in 2020 for an undisclosed amount, ABC News reported. In 2015, Lucara Diamond discovered the 1,111-carat Lesedi La Rona diamond at the Karowe Diamond. The giant diamond was sold to British jeweler Graff for $53 million in 2017. Lucara Diamond extracted an 812-carat colorless diamond from the Karowe mine in November 2015. The precious stone — named "The Constellation" — was the sixth-largest gem-quality diamond at the time. The diamond was sold for $63.1 million in May 2016.The world's largest diamond is the 3,106-carat Cullinan Diamond — discovered in 1905 in neighboring South Africa. In 1907, the Cullinan Diamond was presented to the reigning British monarch, King Edward VII. The huge diamond was cut into nine smaller diamonds. One of the diamonds was mounted in the head of the Sovereign's Sceptre with Cross and another one was mounted in the Imperial State Crown.Botswana is the world’s largest diamond producer by value and the second-biggest producer of natural diamonds behind Russia. Botswana accounted for 20% of global diamond production in 2023, according to GlobalData.Botswana's diamond industry accounts for approximately 80% of exports, one-third of fiscal revenues, and one-quarter of the country's GDP. Kamala STEALS policy ideas from Joseph Stalin while fearmongering Project 2025

Project 2025 is a set of policy proposals written up by conservative think tank the Heritage Foundation — and the proposals do not reflect Donald Trump's official plans for 2025. However, that hasn’t stopped the Democrats from latching onto the proposal as a bottomless cup of fear to serve their voters. “At the DNC, Democrats have taken the opportunity to lie about the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025, characterizing the blueprint as an authoritarian blueprint for a dystopian future,” Jill Savage of “Blaze News Tonight” comments. Ryan Walker, executive vice president for Heritage Action for America, believes the Democrats are ironically projecting the failure of their own lack of decent policy proposals onto Project 2025. “This is an attempt by the DNC and Kamala Harris to create a boogeyman, to use fear and that concept to convince the American people that this agenda, which they’re obviously lying about, will somehow negatively impact their lives,” Walker explains. “But this is all because Biden, and now Harris, have no record that they can stand on and present to the American people that’s widely accepted or agreed to. They have no policies. They cannot say, 'Let’s continue the things that we have been doing for the past four years, it will only get better,' so they’ve created a boogeyman to instill fear in the American people,” he continues. The Democrats' lack of policy ideas is so blatant that Kamala is borrowing policy proposals from Trump instead. “Kamala Harris has taken the tact of stealing ideas from Donald Trump and JD Vance, and the no tax on tips and an increase in the child tax credit — and unfortunately she’s stolen the idea of capping food prices from Joseph Stalin,” Walker says. Video captures woman's bizarre rampage, including assault of firefighter and crashing car into police vehicles in Los Angeles

A woman's rampage in Los Angeles against law enforcement officials was captured on cellphone video by bystanders. Officials responded to a report of a traffic collision on Manhattan Beach Boulevard in Gardena at about noon. They said a woman was in an altercation with a male, and a public safety officer went to intervene. She was cursing a lot.The footage obtained by KTLA-TV begins with the woman dressed in black scrubs yelling and screaming at a Los Angeles County firefighter who was seated in an SUV before she slapped at him repeatedly. Frank Rojas, a resident in the neighborhood, described to KTLA what he witnessed and recorded on his cellphone. “I just hear chaos ensue,” he said. “I guess it was a fire officer and the officer was trying to deescalate and calm her down."The woman was later identified as 36-year-old Jessica Chavez, a resident of Inglewood. She apparently got back into her car before officers with the Gardena Police Department arrived to assist the firefighter. Chavez is seen in the video speeding up her car and swiping both a firefighter vehicle and an undercover officer's vehicle. KTLA showed how the violent force of the crash ripped off the back tire from one vehicle. When Rojas was asked to describe what the woman was yelling about, he said she was cursing a lot and demanding that the firefighter stop following her. No one was injured in the incident, and Chavez was arrested for assaulting a firefighter, assault with a deadly weapon, and driving under the influence. Like Blaze News? Theater officials admitted to raping children in past: Report

Officials with a civic theater near Seattle admitted in the past to raping children, KCPQ-TV reported, citing court documents referring to Renton Civic Theatre board president Alan Parsons and art director Bill Huls. Renton is little less than a half hour southeast of Seattle.A whistleblower working within the theater told KCPQ-TV she went to the theater board about Huls' child sex abuse admissions but noted her concerns were ignored, so she decided to post the information on Facebook.'A broken organization.' "Renton Civic Theater [sic] is a broken organization," the post from the whistleblower read. "Their artistic director is a registered sex offender and harasses women. He has clearly been at his harassment for many years and has not been stopped because not enough of us have spoken up." KCPQ said documents from 1990 it obtained showed Huls, then 22 years old, admitted to sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl who was the daughter of a family friend. The station said Huls pleaded guilty and was convicted. It isn't clear what resulted sentencing-wise after that, but KCPQ added that court documents show Huls admitted to having graphic sexual fantasies involving children he personally knew. The station also said Huls admitted to being close in proximity to kids while in his theater group. The theater's board of directors included Huls' wife as well as Alan Parsons, whom KCPQ reported is a convicted child molester.More from the station:Court records FOX 13 Seattle obtained show that Parsons admitted to raping a baby over a several-year period while Parsons was a teenager. This happened in 2005.Parsons was the little girl’s babysitter when he was 14 years old until he was 17 years old, according to the documents. The victim was two years old when the abuse started and five years old when she told her parents. KCPQ added that an archived screenshot from the theater's website lists Parsons, Huls, and Huls’ wife on the "About" page — but now all three names are gone. The station also said Renton Civic Theatre refused to comment on its story but released at statement that reads: "Given recent events, we have several issues to address. The first is this: As of today, Bill Huls is no longer affiliated with Renton Civic Theatre. We have a lot to sort through, but further decisions are coming. Thank you for your patience while we work through this."KCPQ added that it reached out to Huls, his wife, and Parsons for comment but didn't hear back.In addition, Renton Police told the station they haven’t received any criminal complaints about the theater or staff, but police added that they want those who experienced suspicious activity in reference to the theater to contact police about it.You can view images of the court documents in KCPQ's video report about the theater.Like Blaze News?
