Officials with the Biden and Trump campaigns have had informal conversations on debates in recent weeks, focused on meetings that would not involve the commission, according to two sources familiar, as well as a Trump campaign official. Buckingham Palace unveiled the first official portrait of King Charles III to mixed reactions from the public.  The 8.5 by 6.5-foot painting was done by British artist Jonathan Yeo, who is also responsible for depicting other high-profile subjects like former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, actress Nicole Kidman, and education activist Malala Yousafzai. King Charles is shown wearing the uniform of the Welsh guards. A butterfly is approaching his shoulder. The most striking aspect of the portrait is the swirling red background, which critics say is their main concern. When this talented blind couple was escorted onto the BGT stage, neither the audience nor judges had any idea what a stunning performance they were in for. Husband and wife duo Denise and Stefan delivered a breathtaking rendition of Climb Every Mountain from The Sound of Music. Denise brought viewers to tears with her gorgeous voice, while Stefan accompanied her on the piano. However, their unique story had already won our hearts before they even delivered the first note! Denise and Stefan first met 18 years ago. As they explained to the audience, both of them were on a train headed to the same event when Stefan asked his future wife what time it was. “What are the chances of a blind man asking a blind woman on a train for the time?” Denise joked. Judge Simon Cowell was curious to know what brought the blind couple to “BGT.” Their answer was inspiring! Apparently, two life-altering events had convinced the musical duo to pursue their dreams. First, the pandemic had been extremely difficult on them as live performers. Then, when safety restrictions began to lift, Denise was diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully, the singer survived the disease. She joyfully informed the audience that she was now cancer-free. However, the experience had taught the blind couple that life was too short not to go after what they really wanted — namely, appearing on Britain’s Got Talent. “We just want to grab the bull by the horns, you know, and just take every opportunity,” Denise said. Judges were moved to tears by the blind couple’s Sound of Music cover. Even the judges had nothing but wonderful things to say about the performance. Some of them were even in tears!
