Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) said over the weekend that he believes that President Joe Biden still has it in him to continue running for re-election as some Democrats have pushed for Biden to step aside following his debate performance a week and a half ago. Murphy made the remarks during a Sunday interview with Dana Bash on CNN’s “State of the Union” while talking about the situation that Biden faces. Murphy said that he was shocked that all the conversation has been about Biden’s debate performance and not about what Trump said as Murphy proceeded to make false claims about things that Trump said. “Personally, I love Joe Biden,” Murphy said, adding that he wasn’t sure Biden’s ABC News interview on Friday was enough to quiet opposition to Biden within the Democratic Party. “And so I think this week is going to be absolutely critical.” “I think the president needs to do more,” he continued. “I’m not advising this campaign, but, if I were, I would probably suggest that the president get out there and do a town hall, that he do a press conference, that he show the country that he is still the old Joe Biden, one of the best retail politicians this country has ever seen.” “The president says he can do that. Marco Rubio (R-FL) slammed President Joe Biden over the weekend for using the Department of Justice to target his political opponents and noted that former President Donald Trump did not do that while he was in office. Rubio made the remarks during a Sunday CNN interview on “State of the Union” with Dana Bash while discussing the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent ruling that presidents have immunity for official acts that they take as president as long as the acts fall within the outer limits of duties of the president. “I’m uncomfortable with the fact now that we have a president who has targets political opponents,” Rubio said. “That’s what’s happened under Joe Biden. When Donald Trump was president, I can’t think of a single prominent Democrat who was chased around, persecuted, prosecuted. It’s funny to me to read these people and hear these people out there warning about all the horrible things they ridiculously claim Donald Trump is going to do if he becomes president again.” “They’re the ones that have been going after their political opponents,” he continued. “Donald Trump has been the one that’s been very clear that his vengeance is going to be by winning and making America great again, not going after his political opponents. It’s a disaster.” Moments earlier, Bartiromo noted Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) would be having a call with fellow leading House Democrats to discuss Biden and the 2024 race. She then asked Tuberville for his reaction to the crisis of confidence that Biden is facing from members of his own party. “This has been a disgrace. It’s been a disgrace for 3.5 years,” Tuberville replied. “We have been talking to our Democratic colleagues in the Senate. They know what’s going on. Mainstream media has hid all this. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), House Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and former President Barack Obama have been “running the country,” he said, along with Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. “Joe Biden hasn’t been making decisions. He might have [in the] first year had some say so about what’s going on, but he’s been out of it since after the first year in office. And you can tell by Schumer’s actions, Pelosi’s actions the first two years. They were calling the shots,” Tuberville said. “So, hopefully, people understand that,” he added. “They have had total control, not the president, but Schumer and Pelosi and all the deep state. The deep state has total control of this. And, hopefully, we can get control of it and get the Democrats out of control and get Trump and all the Republicans running this country.”

On October the 8th, President Biden gives an interview to the special counsel, where they determined him to be a nice man with a bad memory and you couldn’t convince a jury he did anything wrong.” “I want those tapes released,” he continued. “So, what I would like to see is President Biden take a cognitive test. I think everybody going forward in the line of succession should have a neurological exam on a regular basis.” Graham said that all nominees for president going forward should have to take neurological exams as part of an overall health examination that is released to the public. “We need to make sure that the people who are going to be in the line of succession are capable of being commander in chief under dire circumstances,” he said. “Here’s what I worry about, that our allies see a compromised Joe Biden, that our enemies see a compromised Joe Biden, and I’m offended by the idea that he shouldn’t take a competency test, given all the evidence in front of us. He is not only in denial. Sanders made the remarks during a Sunday CBS News interview on “Face The Nation” with Robert Costa when asked about the state of the race following Biden’s disastrous debate performance. “President Biden can clearly defeat Donald Trump, the most dangerous president in the history of this country,” Sanders said. “And the choice is quite clear.” Sanders that the area where he is “critical of the Biden campaign” is that they are not going far enough left on policy. “It’s one thing to talk about your record over the last three-and-a-half years, which is a strong record, but the American people are hurting, 60 percent of our people living paycheck to paycheck; 25 percent of elderly people are trying to get by on $15,000 a year or less,” he said. “The American people want an agenda for the next four years that speaks to the needs of the working class of this country. And, frankly, I don’t think the president has brought that agenda forward. He has got to say, I am prepared to take on corporate greed, massive income and wealth inequality and stand with the working class in this country. He does that, he’s going to win, and win big.” Sanders said that he has already done multiple campaign events for Biden and that will continue to do so. “What we’re talking about now is not a Grammy Award contest for best singer,” he said. “Biden is old. He’s not as articulate as he once was. I wish he could jump up the steps on Air Force One. Who has the guts to take on corporate America? Who is talking about expanding Medicare so we cover dental, hearing and vision? Who’s talking about raising the cap on the taxes that people pay into Social Security, so we can raise social security benefits and extend the life of Social Security for 75 years?” Sanders added that Biden should promise to deliver a new vision for the country that amounts to a far-left wishlist if Democrats win the House, Senate, and White House — even though they held all three during Biden’s first two years in office. “I find it personally insulting that The New York Times and all these media organizations go out front page, ‘oh, this is what the billionaire campaign donors feel’,” he late added. “Well, to hell with the billionaire campaign donors. Let’s worry about the working class of this country and what their needs are.” When asked about efforts from Sen. Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) slammed left-wing NBC News host Kristen Welker during an interview on Sunday over President Joe Biden’s political prosecutions against former President Donald Trump. Vance made the remarks during an interview on the network’s “Meet The Press” program when asked if Trump would go after the Biden family if he were to win in November. “Well, first of all, Kristen, I find it interesting how much the media and the Democrats have lost their mind over this particular quote,” he said. “Donald Trump is talking about appointing a special prosecutor to investigate Joe Biden for wrongdoing. Joe Biden has done exactly that for the last few years and has done far more in addition to that to engage in a campaign of lawfare against his political opposition.
