Abortion rights activist Hadley Duvall claimed during a Monday morning MSNBC appearance that all women of childbearing age should realize that their “lives are at stake” going into the 2024 election. Duvall became an abortion activist after being raped at age 12 by her stepfather — who is now in prison — after which she became pregnant and miscarried. She sat alongside Vice President Kamala Harris and argued that every woman’s life was “at stake” if she did not have easy access to abortion — and that only re-electing President Joe Biden would ensure that. Hunter Biden‘s law license in Washington, D.C., has been suspended after the first son was found guilty on all charges in his federal gun trial in Delaware earlier this month. A D.C. Court of Appeals order on Tuesday said Biden is “suspended immediately from the practice of law … pending resolution of this matter” following his conviction on three felony counts that appear to be “serious crimes” as defined by D.C. Bar rules. Chief Judge Anna Blackburne-Rigsby, who signed the order, also said the Board on Professional Responsibility is “directed to institute a formal proceeding to determine the nature of the offense and whether it involves moral turpitude.” Biden has reportedly been a member of the D.C. bar since 2007, though CNN said that he has worked as an attorney in recent years as he sought income from other ventures, such as his 2021 memoir called “Beautiful Things” and his art career. A disciplinary office in the nation’s capital recommended that Biden’s law license be suspended a little more than a week after the 54-year-old was convicted of lying on paperwork for a revolver and owning the firearm while being a drug addict in 2018. Court records highlighted by the New York Post indicate that Biden also has a law license in Connecticut that has been placed on administrative suspension for a failure to pay a fee. However, The Washington Post noted that Biden probably will receive a lighter sentence because he is a first-time offender. Attorneys for Biden submitted a filing on Monday requesting a new trial while arguing that a federal appeals court did not give the trial court formal permission to proceed after dismissing his appeals, according to Reuters. President Joe Biden, who is running for a second term in the White House, has said he will not pardon his son or commute whatever sentence Hunter may receive. Hunter Biden is also facing a tax trial in California, which is set to begin in September. The indictments in gun and tax cases, which took shape after the collapse of a plea deal last year, are spearheaded by special counsel David Weiss.

“The Sopranos” star Drea de Matteo slammed fellow Italians Dr. Anthony Fauci and Robert De Niro on national television on Monday night, saying she’s “mortified by my people.” During the 52-year-old actress’ appearance on “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Matteo called out Hollywood’s support for President Joe Biden after a video montage played showing several celeb endorsements, and she was asked if there’s a “quiet Trump voter out there in Hollywood.”  “I think there is a lot of them. I think there are a lot of — that was a hard intro to watch. I’m sorry,” de Matteo said, laughing, referencing the video montage, which included De Niro ranting about Trump outside a New York City courthouse. “No, it’s the Italian, man. We’re talking about Fauci [former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID)], we’re talking about De Niro. I am mortified right now by my people,” she added. “I don’t understand what we’re doing here. Anyhow, yes.
