A manhunt is underway in Germany after at least nine people were stabbed at a diversity festival on Friday night reportedly by a middle eastern-looking man. Bild, Germany’s largest newspaper, said that police are treating the incident as a “terror attack” after the suspect, who witnesses described as “an Arab-looking man,” began attacking people at a busy city square in Solingen where a stage was set up for the event. At least three people were killed during the attack, the report said. The suspect reportedly stabbed people in the neck during the attack. “The attacker stabbed people at random with a knife. That’s why we are currently assuming it was an attack,” said Chief Inspector Sascha Kresta, spokesman for the Wuppertal police. “There are currently three fatally injured victims, five seriously injured and people in shock. A large-scale search for the attacker is underway, and we absolutely want to arrest the perpetrator. But investigations, forensic evidence and witness interviews are also underway at the same time.” The attack happened during the “Festival of Diversity” — a three-day event celebrating the 650th anniversary of the city’s founding. Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists destroyed an oil tanker traveling in international waters in the Red Sea this week, the third major commercial shipping vessel that the Islamic terror group has sunk over the last year. EUNAVFOR ASPIDES — an EU military operation in the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean, and the Gulf — said in a statement that the attack on the MV SOUNION happened on Wednesday after the ship did not ask for protection. “Once the ship was attacked[,] it lost engine power and an operation was dispatched to the ship to rescue the crew,” ASPIDES said in a statement. “While approaching the area, the EUNAVFOR ASPIDES ship destroyed an Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) that posed an imminent threat to the ship and the crew,” the statement said. “All on board the MV SOUNION were subsequently rescued and are being transported to Djibouti, the nearest safe port of call. The lives of seafarers and freedom on the high seas are nonnegotiable values and their protection is a key objective of EUNAVFOR ASPIDES.” The ship was carrying 150,000 tons of crude oil, the group said, noting that the situation now presents a serious “navigational and environmental hazard.” “It is essential that everyone in the area exercises caution and refrains from any actions that could lead to a deterioration of the current situation,” the statement concluded. “EUNAVFOR ASPIDES with a defensive mandate acts as a credible EU maritime security provider, with the aim to contribute to the freedom of navigation in the area of operation and the safe passage of merchant vessels.” Houthi terrorists released a video of them destroying the ship after rigging it with explosives. After Kamala Harris spoke, Maddow insisted you would remember where you were during this speech, at an "inflection point in history." Tapper insisted it might be the most historic speech ever, and Colbert described it as "everything we've been waiting for all week!" It's quite a contrast with how all the anchors summarized Donald Trump's acceptance speech. In Milwaukee, PBS uncorked negativity right after the speech. Amna Nawaz said the speech "veered into themes of grievance and politics and partisan issues of the past."  Co-anchor Geoff Bennett added: "The initial calls for unity quickly gave way to attacks on Democrats, to a litany of falsehoods, to a string of insults." But for Harris, Nawaz oozed she was "Speaking before a packed arena who hung on her every word and making history," and Bennett noted Harris and her running mate Tim Walz received "rapturous applause" from their fellow Democrats.   At least CNN's Scott Jennings had this message: "All the Harris pablum and platitudes aside, you can’t leave the same people in charge who’ve run the country into the ditch." On Friday morning, ABC reporter Jonathan Karl proclaimed: “This is a Kamala Harris that sounded a little bit more like Maggie Thatcher or Ronald Reagan, especially on national security, than like Bernie Sanders.” CNN analyst Elliott Williams heard Harris's speech and announced "that's Margaret Thatcher, dude!" No one should be comparing radical Kamala to Reagan and Thatcher!  The so-called "independent fact-checkers" are still aligning with the Democrats. CNN's Daniel Dale could only throw "missing context" flags at the Harris speech. Blatant falsehoods were painted as "cleverly framed" arguments.
