Losing a spouse is among the most heartbreaking experiences a person can have. They’ve devoted their life to one individual, and suddenly, that person is gone. Thankfully, technology allows us to keep memories alive with pictures and videos. Simply seeing their face or hearing their voice can help ease some of the pain. Many of us take photos and videos every day with smartphones. The images are crisp and clear, and we can immediately review them to decide if we want to keep them or delete pics and start over. Not so long ago, photo technology was more challenging and much less convenient. Cameras took pictures in film, and we had to wait until they were developed to learn their quality. Sadly, a lot of times, the photos weren’t great, but we didn’t know until it was too late and the moment had passed. A man named Matthew Jacobs recently lost his wife and doesn’t have many pictures of her. One of his favorites from when they were younger was blurry, and he hoped someone could help bring the memory back to life.   Matthew posted the photo in a Facebook Photo Restoration Group and asked for help. “Lost my wife in January,” he wrote. “And as she got older and gained weight she didn’t like having her picture taken. So I don’t have many pictures with her. The one below is one of my favorites when we were younger. Can someone please bring out our faces and get rid of the glare? Thank you in advance.” The Internet Saw The Photo Of The Man And His Late Wife And Saved The Day Several people came forward to help restore Matthew’s photo and a beautiful memory with his wife. Total strangers didn’t hesitate to help a grieving man and took time out of their day to help. Someone wrote, “So very sorry for your loss. And I’m very glad to see that folks in this group Definitely got the job done. There are some incredible edits above. She was beautiful by the way.” “I am so sorry that your precious wife has passed away. Too young. Please know that I am thinking of you and hope that your children bring smiles to your face. Your photo restoration pictures look wonderful. A beautiful couple,” another kind person shared. A Southern California family of 3 is hiking a trail along a cliff. They encounter a tall bipedal being that quickly runs away bipedally. The witness is convinced that they saw a werewolf.I received the following account:"This encounter happened while I [32] was hiking with my husband [32] and son [8]. We went hiking to this spot in south California where we’ve been going for the last 13 years. The hiking trails are basically located all along the cliff. Some trails lead to a secluded beach, and others lead to a cave.We took the trail that leads to the beach and we usually keep walking longer than the average person since we are more familiar with the terrain after the trail ends. Around 4:30pm we decided to hike back up the trail while watching the sunset, at the same time the moon was rising in the opposite direction. This moon was huge, probably one of the biggest moons I’ve seen here. This is where we took some pics.We decided once we got back to the top of the trail around 5:30ish pm to keep hiking along some other trail which we’d only been once too. The night was still young and plenty of families were walking along this trail. I decided to take a quick break after a short jog to enjoy the scenery and appreciate the moon. At this time my husband and son were pretty far from me and all I could see was their silhouette.The night was now upon us and the fog from the Pacific Ocean was making its way up the cliff into the hiking trails. My husband and son decided to turn back and meet me because it was getting dark. My son began to run past us. At this point, my husband looks in his direction and sees this black silhouette of a tall person standing about 9 meters from my son. As soon as this thing notices that my husband is looking at it, it gets on all fours and takes off like an animal. He yells for my son to come back. He then tells me what he saw and says something is running across the trail. I am scared of dogs so the first thing I thought was a stray dog running loose. He says, “No, it is bigger than a dog. Almost like the size of a bear but it had the silhouette of a man standing in the middle of the trail and it took off on all fours as soon as I looked at it”. He said this thing was darker than the dark around us.At this point, we were freaking out. We were hugging each other close not knowing what to expect next. We were basically in the middle of a trail we’d only been once with a crappy phone service. We looked around and the trail was completely empty with no one to be seen. We were basically the only ones there. That trail went from being packed with people to now us three being the only ones there within minutes. Which made everything even more terrifying.We decided to suck it up and walk back to our car which meant we had to pass by where my husband saw this thing on the trail. My husband said he thought he saw this humanoid run down the trail but once we got to that spot where he saw it, the trail turned right but the figure ran left. To the left was a fence and a bunch of tall bushes making it impossible for something to go that way. Whatever it was would have had to jump the fence to keep going the way it went. We never saw/heard it jump the fence and better yet we didn’t even hear its footsteps or anything moving in the bushes. My husband said it just disappeared.We managed to keep walking along the trail while holding his phone flashlight pointed at the fence and bushes where he saw it go. All I had was my water bottle and I was ready to use it as a weapon. All we could hope for at this time was to see other people along the trail.Then we finally see lights coming from a motorbike towards the end of the trail. This person was going into the trail and we were relieved to be out of it and into the parking lot. When we finally got to the parking lot, it went from 50 cars to only two cars left. There was this couple outside taking pics. At this point, even the person in the motorbike noped back out of this trail back to the parking lot and left.As we made our way back to our car I kinda joked with my husband how he might’ve seen a werewolf. He was still in shock and didn’t say no but he was still trying to process what he saw. My son said he saw something crawling and that’s when my husband called him to come back towards us. He was really scared that night and refused to sleep by himself. We all slept in the same room. My son said he felt like it was following us the whole time home. I hope not.Today we ended up watching this segment on the news by accident while having dinner and we heard that today is a Super Blood Wolf Moon. Now I am 90% convinced he saw a werewolf.This location is notorious for many deaths as it is on a cliff where many have died from falling over or drowning. This is a bizarre account from Buenos Aires, Argentina where the eyewitness watched someone commit suicide by standing in front of a commuter train. Afterward, a body is not found!I received the following account:"This experience is actually a big driving force behind why I believe the paranormal is normal now. This happened a few years ago here in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I was leaving a nightclub. It was about 3:00 AM. I was alone. I had to walk to the bus stop from the nightclub. Now I'm no saint but that night I had maybe two bottles of beer, small bottles of beer. I just wasn't feeling the vibe and I wanted to go home so between the nightclub and the bus stop there is a train track. When I get to the train track, I hear the railroad crossing bells start to ring, so I stop and wait. Directly across from me, on the other side of the tracks, there is a metal sort of railing that you wait at and I see this person walking up to the railing. It looked like a homeless person or somebody that was living, you know, on the streets. The person also had what looked like, to be, a bottle, in his hand, and he was drinking the bottle, so I assumed it was just a homeless person or, you know, a drunk or somebody that was in a bad situation, living on the streets.It was late. There was nobody around, just me and this person. I was looking over at the person because they were kind of looking at me while they were drinking from their bottle but because it was nighttime and they were a bit further, I couldn't make out their facial features. I could tell that they didn't have any hair on their head. They were bald. I think maybe they didn't have shoes on. Like I said, this happened a few years ago (in 2016) so forgive me if I struggle with some of the details. So this person sort of gets really close to the tracks and starts chugging the bottle, right, chugging it back, and I'm looking at them going, like, what is this person doing? They're too close to the tracks. The train is going to come right now. The train is coming right now and they look, you know, like I thought it was somebody that was wasted and they were gonna kill themselves on the track without noticing because they were so drunk, so I start to scream at the person on the track to get off the track because the train is coming, looking over at them and I'm screaming at him telling him to move back away from the track he's too close to the track. Now, I think he threw the bottle and this is something that I clearly remember because this is where it got really crazy.So the train is getting closer and closer and this person isn't moving but I'm still yelling at them, telling them to back up from the tracks, the train is coming. It's getting closer and closer louder and louder, I'm screaming. The person is not moving. The light from the train is shining and it gets closer and closer. The person opens up their arms almost like, you know that big Jesus statue in Brazil? Sort of like Jesus on the cross kind of thing, you know, arms wide open, like, if you're gonna give somebody a bear hug. He turns around, makes eye contact with me, and falls forward right onto the track. I saw their head touch the track on one side and their legs touch the track on the other side and the train just went and passed right over. While this guy did this, he made eye contact with me, and the train, like, hit him. The train light lit him up. I realized he had no hair on his face, he was bald, and he didn't seem, like, he didn't even have eyebrows. I'm serious, like, no hair.I start freaking out at this point. I completely lost it. I'm yelling at the train, that they ran somebody over. I'm still alone, I'm yelling and I'm yelling, and the train stops and I'm thinking, 'Oh my god, I just saw somebody kill themselves, like, what is going on?'The first thing I did when the train stopped was go directly to where I saw him throw himself under the train and I looked under the train. Now when I look under the train, obviously, I see what anyone would see - a mangled, what looked like a mangled kind of body right somebody twisted like a pretzel. It was dark so I didn't really see much but just that image made me fall back. I looked away. When I looked back the person was in a crouch. I don't even know how to say this or how to explain this. This is why I don't like telling this story. It was like they were in a crouched position but it didn't make sense logically because the space was too small it was like they were mangled and then I looked back and they were like in a crouched position and it was like he was looking back at me for a second and then he ran and at this point, I'm just overloaded with too much, there's too much going on here.I'm freaking out completely, my brain can't even process what's happening. This cop, I think he got off the train, he walks up to me and he says, 'Why did you yell, what's going on?' And I said, 'They ran somebody over! They ran somebody over!' That's all I could say because I was like in shock. I pointed to where the person was, but I still couldn't believe what I saw, so I thought he was still there. I thought I was in shock. The cop looks and there's nothing there obviously because what was there was now gone. I'm like, 'No no, they ran somebody over, he was right there, it was a dead guy there.' The cop is looking at me, like, you're crazy, like, he asked me, 'Are you on drugs or something?' I'm like, 'No, like, totally, no, I swear to you there was somebody there. I swear to you.' And while I'm saying that, out of the darkness comes an actual homeless person, and he's like freaking out. The homeless person is freaking out. I think he was pushing like a cart. He was pulling a cart or something but I remember that he was freaking out because he was saying, 'The kid isn't lying, there was something there and he ran out the other side. The kid isn't lying he's not lying.'I get so uncomfortable whenever I tell this story. I start to get, like, cold. It's just weird. I start feeling really weird. At this point, there's, like, traffic behind me, you know, the cops here, the homeless guy's here freaking out, praying. Here's where I just got this sense of fear, like terror. The train conductor gets off the train walks up to us and the cop is super mad and says, 'Where is the guy that I ran over? Where is the guy that threw himself on the track?' And the cop's like, 'There is no guy.' And I'm like, 'There's a guy! There was a guy there.' And the train conductor looks at me and says, 'He's not lying,' to the cop, 'I saw the guy. We ran over a guy.'Just telling you guys this story is like bringing back those emotions that I was feeling that night. The conductor got back on the train. The cop, I think, was on the train, so he got back, and the train left. The traffic goes by and then I'm alone and there was just something about this experience and that fear that I felt after that and that confusion. It was like my mind couldn't grasp it. I couldn't explain it.So for the next week, the next month, I was just trying to figure out what that was. I was trying to figure out what it meant. I'll just be 100% honest with you guys, it was very very frightening only because I felt in my gut like that was supposed to happen to me like it was a warning or a sign or something. I couldn't really tell anybody either because the story gets so crazy at certain points, like when he's mangled and then he's un-mangled. I was afraid to actually talk about it with people for some reason. I've always been into the paranormal and the fringe ever since I was young. I've been looking into those kinds of things and I can't really ignore it. I can't. It's something that happens naturally but there have been moments in my life where I just forced myself to ignore it. I forced myself not to look into it because sometimes the rabbit hole gets so big then you end up more lost than when you first started researching or when you first started. A Rockford, Illinois witness and a friend observe two apparent Men in Black. In an attempt to get closer the odd pair 'vanish into thin air.'I received the following account:"In 1979 (Rockford, Illinois) I was 19 years old, living at home, and I would hang out with a girl pal (met at a then 'Christian coffee house - the Jesus hippie movement type thing at that time). Her and I were experiencing UFO sightings, in September, and in the then UFO Report Magazine, November issue, was the write up of a sightings flapwave in that region in '79. So my friend and I saw ufos due to that ufo flapwave, most likely.In the midst of that, this happened:One day around noon, on a weekend day, I was at her house, where she lived with her widowed elderly father. We were standing in the living room, trying to think of something interesting to go do/see. We were gazing out the large window which faced the front yard, sidewalk, and street. It was a sidestreet, not main thoroughfare, into a quiet old residential neighborhood. Then a spectacle shows up. 2 men. (Not the 'traditional' 3). They looked alike. And dressed all in black. I vaguely recollect they were both wearing trenchcoats. Black. Also, black suit, trousers, shoes, tie. White shirt. They seemed to me, average height for an average man, and both thin and pale. Caucasian and pale. Their heads were so very odd. It's like they had long heads, or had some odd thing sitting atop their heads, that was hair or a hat. Or some kind of hat on hair. All black. Giving the craniums a long appearance.Well they walked close together shoulder to shoulder down the sidewalk, looking at the window we were behind, appearing to look right at us. My friend and I made the decision to fling open the front door and go out there, and get a closer look at the two men. And discovered, NO one there! Like they "vanished into thin air".Luckily for me, many years later, actor Dan Ackroyd, disclosed about his own vanishing MIB experience. I also find it fascinating and confirming, that one recent World Bank whistleblower, Karen Hudes, states that it is a fact, alternate 'humans' attend high level "meetings" and have long craniums. I cannot say how extraordinary-or-mundane, that particular incident was. I felt it to be unusual.A couple years back, I decided to submit the recounting to Peter Davenport's National UFO Reporting Center, where the sighting is in the database for September of 1979 for my state. One piece of PBS’s coverage of the last night of the Democratic National Convention unwittingly confirmed media labeling bias on PBS and other “mainstream “outlets. First, Washington Post columnist Jonathan Capehart hailed the Democrat’s vice-presidential nominee Tim Walz for using the supposedly less frightening and more convincing term “gun safety legislation” instead of “gun violence laws” (a term the PBS News Hour also uses). Anchor Geoff Bennett expanded that "language" argument to encompass abortion. Anchor Geoff Bennett, 9:50 p.m. (ET): We have seen Democrats do that on abortion, talking less about abortion rights and more about reproductive freedom. To what degree does the language matter, Amy [Walter]? Hmm. Who else talks like Democrats by saying “reproductive” rights instead of “abortion”? PBS anchors and reporters! Amusingly, there were couple of incidents on the very same Night Four of the convention, both before Bennett talked about how language mattered, and afterward: Anchor Geoff Bennett, 8:14 p.m. (ET): Let's talk campaign strategy for a second. Because before you were a senator you were president of Emily’s List, which is an advocacy group that supports Democratic women for office who support reproductive rights. Montana out this past week became the eighth state to put on the ballot come November a ballot measure that will enshrine reproductive rights. And then afterward: Anchor Geoff Bennett, 11:19 p.m. (ET): I gotta say, as convention speeches go, I don’t think I’ve ever heard such an extensive discussion of reproductive rights as what we heard earlier tonight. You can also easily find the admittedly Democratic-friendly term “reproductive rights” spoken by journalists during segments on the tax-funded PBS News Hour: Judy Woodruff, talking to Republican and Democratic delegates, August 23: Like many of the conversations happening across the country, ours eventually turned to some of the most divisive issues of the day, from immigration to reproductive rights. Barron-Lopez in Chicago, August 18: But the black women that I spoke to are credibly excited, and they feel as though that the country is ready to elect its first black woman and South Asian president. So they`re hoping that that what they`re feeling is something that a lot of other women are feeling across the country. And a lot of them name issues like reproductive rights and health care and abortion for why they`re excited about Harris. Anchors and reporters also used the term “abortion” often in most of the above reports. But saying the catch-all term “reproductive rights” as a clear euphemism for the more blunt, possibly less popular term abortion was telling.
