EXCLUSIVE: Trump Bans Intel Officials Who Pushed Russian Disinfo Hoax From Federal Buildings

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump is taking further action against the 50 former intelligence officials who falsely suggested Hunter Biden’s laptop was “part of a Russian disinformation campaign,” instructing agencies to also ban those individuals from stepping foot in secure U.S. government facilities, according to a memo obtained by The Daily Wire. The Jan. 29 cabinet memorandum, first obtained by The Daily Wire, expands Trump’s day-one executive order, which revoked the security clearance for the 50 individuals. Sent “on behalf of the President,” it orders the country’s top national security agencies to “revoke unescorted access to secure U.S. Government facilities from the 50 former intelligence officials named in the Executive Order.” “These individuals no longer possess a need to access secure facilities, and as outlined in the Executive Order, do not have the appropriate security clearances to access classified information,” the memo states. Included in the list of individuals are prominent members of the intelligence community, including former CIA directors John Brennan, Michael Hayden, and Leon Panetta, who also at one time served as Secretary of Defense. It also includes the former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and John Bolton, the longtime diplomat who most recently served under Trump as his national security advisor. Image from cabinet memorandum issued by White House / The Daily Wire The memo was sent to the Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense, Director of National Intelligence, and Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. It was also distributed to the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, who is tasked with informing any other “clearance-granting U.S. Government entity” of the ban “to ensure compliance.” The action comes as part of the Trump administration’s effort to weed out government officials who participated in political weaponization of their power. His initial executive order charged that “the signatories willfully weaponized the gravitas of the Intelligence Community to manipulate the political process and undermine our democratic institutions.” Trump on Friday ordered several FBI officials who served in the prior administration to resign, telling them they will be fired if they choose not to. Trump’s pick to lead the FBI, Kash Patel, faced a contentious confirmation hearing on Thursday, and pledged to “de-weaponize” the intelligence community. “America deserves a better brand of justice and I’m going to give it to them,” Patel said in the hearing. The initial letter from the intelligence officials came in October 2020, weeks before the presidential election, after the New York Post reported on emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop. The story stated that the laptop was left by the former president’s drug-addicted son at a computer repair shop. The letter, however, said the story had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation,” and this claim was used as an excuse to censor the reporting ahead of the election. The laptop and the emails on it proved to be authentic. Trump’s newly confirmed CIA Director, John Ratcliffe, was Director of National Intelligence at the time, and from the beginning stated that there was no evidence of Russian involvement. The full memo obtained by The Daily Wire can be read here.

Tennessee Passes Bill To Assist Trump’s Illegal Immigration Crackdown

The Tennessee General Assembly passed sweeping legislation on Thursday creating a new state-level immigration position to help coordinate President Donald Trump’s crackdown.  The legislation was passed during a special session called by Republican Governor Bill Lee to address illegal immigration, hurricane relief, and school choice. In addition to establishing a state immigration enforcement officer, the legislation will also tighten state identification laws and penalize local authorities who back sanctuary city policies.  “This week, in partnership with the General Assembly, Tennessee passed meaningful legislation to address three pressing issues that President Trump and Tennesseans overwhelmingly support – the Education Freedom Act, additional disaster relief for East Tennesseans, and measures to halt illegal immigration,” Lee said.  The immigration package easily passed the House 72-22 and the Senate 26-7 despite protests from leftist activists.   Backed by Lee and Republican leadership, the legislation will create the Centralized Immigration Enforcement Division under the state’s current Department of Safety. This division will include a chief immigration enforcement officer appointed by the governor to coordinate directly with the Trump administration in implementing federal immigration laws. The officer would also ensure that state and local officials comply with federal immigration laws. One aspect of the bill creates a felony offense for an official who votes to implement a sanctuary city policy and create a pathway for citizens to challenge lax immigration policies put in place by local officials. There are currently no sanctuary cities in the state, but there have been some complaints that some local jurisdictions, such as Memphis, do not cooperate with federal immigration authorities. “From this day forward let it go forth, do not set up sanctuary cities in our state. We are not a sanctuary to illegal immigrants from across the world that try to come to this state,” House Majority Leader William Lamberth said during a debate on the measure.  Additionally, the bill stipulates that state-issued IDs will only be available to U.S. citizens and permanent residents. Individuals with federal authorization to be in the country for a specified period or a non-citizen would have a temporary driver license with a distinctive mark. Lee is expected to sign the bill into law, and the leftist American Civil Liberties Union plans to challenge it.  Tennessee’s special session followed a call from Trump for governors to follow the lead of Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, who first ordered the Sunshine State’s legislature to consider legislation to assist federal authorities with illegal immigration. It also came as a Nashville-area school board urged the state “to expedite the closure of our nation’s borders” due to an increasing strain on public education.

“After AA5432, This American Airlines Captain Just Said The Exact Words That I (And Everyone Else) Needed To Hear”

The nation wept when American Airlines 5432 went down in the Potomac on January 29, 2025. The memory is still fresh, but our day-to-day lives can’t just stop. That means people still have to fly with American Airlines and other carriers. It is not easy walking through the boarding tunnel and onto an airplane. Airline crewmembers have the same feelings, which is why the pilot of AA1044 to MIA made this special announcement. @leighterhaters Life is short, hug your people whoever is the pilot on AA1044 to MIA, i love you #unitedbywings #americanairlines #blackhawk #crash75 #planecrash #aviation #flightcrew #flightattendant ♬ original sound – Leighton Mixon The message from the pilot was what many passengers needed to hear. He started, “Many of you are fearful about flying, and that is certainly understandable.” With the validation of their feelings, he acknowledges that not everyone on the flight is at their best. He didn’t say it, but that included his entire crew. There is unseen tension among passengers after a significant air mishap like the American Airlines 5432 accident. The next part of his message was a reassurance. “Please know that my first officer and our flight attendants, and myself, place your safety and the responsibility of carrying you to Miami to your families or vacations or your meetings at the highest level.” With this, he tells every passenger they are important and that he is vested in their safety. Image from Wikimedia Commons. As he continues, he reinforces his dedication to the job and the responsibility he has accepted as their pilot, adding, ” I have no higher calling than carefully and professionally transporting you today.” After that, he says a fairly standard sign-off, “So with that, relax and enjoy the beautiful evening that we get to fly in. We’ll be on our way shortly.” Flying After American Airlines 5432 The pilot tailored his welcome message around the American Airlines 5432 crash, conveying true feelings of empathy. Although it may not have relaxed everyone, it was a message everyone needed to hear. While we grieve the loss of 64 lives, this pilot offered up a message to smile about. He understands our feelings; they are valid, and he cares. You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. Cat Appoints Himself “Dad” To Adorable Litter Of Puppies

Marmalade is a male creamsicle cat. His dog sister, Maple, recently gave birth to a litter of puppies. You might think the young cat would shy away from the new puppies. The opposite is true. Marmalade has decided that puppies need a dad, and he is stepping into that role. As cat Dad to at least six puppies, Marmalade rules the roost. @maplemoo1 Marmalade couldn’t wait for his puppies to grow up & play with him. I love seeing how gentle he was when they were so delicate & the gradual switch up when they finally start playing with him. & yet it’s still so far from how he played with Maple (mum) #marmalade #puppy #catanddog #cockerspaniels #showcockerspaniel #showcockerspaniels #growingup #kittenandpuppy #bestfriends #uncle #unclemarms #cockerspaniel #kitten #puppies #maple ♬ Hey There Delilah – Sahar Marmalade supervises feeding time, ensuring all the pups have enough to eat. After meals, naps are a must, with the cat lying near the pups in case they awaken. Then it’s bath time, followed by playtime. Marmalade takes an active interest in everything the little puppies do throughout the day. The responsible cat Dad helps bathe the puppies and comforts them. Watching the puppies grow, the cat Dad adjusts to his changing role. As they wean to solid food, he keeps a watchful eye. When the humans decide to play, Marmalade ensures they don’t play too rough with his little charges. The puppies move to supervised outside play as they grow, and the cat stays beside them. Image from TikTok. Marmalade is gentle as the puppies learn to roughhouse, even though they will soon be bigger than him. The cat tolerates his puppies, even as they begin the “chew everything” phase, and try to eat his face. Playing with dogs is not new to this cat. He is accustomed to sparring with the puppies’ mom, Maple. Marmalade grew up under the gentle care of Maple, so it seems the cat is repaying the favor by helping her raise her puppies. @maplemoo1 Not sure who wins this round #maple #marmalade #cockerspaniel #showcockerspaniel #cockerspaniel#kittenanddog #dogandcat #spaniel #playfight #round1 #tomcat #prepregnancy #workingcocker #joules ♬ Rocky (Main Theme) – The Intermezzo Orchestra Watching Maple and Marmalade co-parent these puppies is beautiful. When the cat has the puppies, it gives Mom Maple a chance to rest. Please share. You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. Bill Gates Suggests Governments Should Act Against Elon Musk for Political Posts, Calls for Regulation of Social Media

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties, subscribe to Reclaim The Net. A puff piece in the Times built around an interview with Bill Gates revealed that the Microsoft co-founder and lately vaccines, digital IDs, etc. “warrior” harbors negative feelings toward Elon Musk, but also social media as such. It seems that governments and elites that feel the same way will always be able to count on Gates for support, including him hinting at what they should do about the “problem” of Musk, and social networking. The implication from what Gates said during the interview is that they should act against, or censor Musk because of his political views, publicly expressed on X. Not in so many words, but Gates here backs the UK government and the press that’s in its corner, who has been lambasting Musk as a “billionaire bully” who interferes in the country’s affairs – because he has opinions on issues such as the grooming gangs scandal. The doting interviewer describes Gates as “responsible” and on a mission to “save lives” (as opposed to how the Times sees Musk) – and Gates agreed. “I’m ultra-different. It’s really insane that he can destabilize the political situations in countries. I think in the US foreigners aren’t allowed to give money; other countries maybe should adopt safeguards to make sure super-rich foreigners aren’t distorting their elections,” he said. That was “super-rich” coming from Gates, considering how much his foundation interferes in societies, particularly in developing countries, from agriculture and vaccination, to pushing the so-called Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). Gates then makes a dig at Musk’s many high profile businesses to share that he cannot understand why Musk would care about wide-scale child sexual exploitation. Why is he “obsessing about this grooming story in the UK. I’m like, what?,” said Gates, the supposed altruistic “life saver.” He also slammed Musk for “promoting right wing” and “populist stirring” such as when he voices support for Germany’s opposition AfD party, that’s under heavy pressure from the establishment in that country but also from the EU. Regarding social media, Gates describes it as a “problem” and then “thinks of the children” but also about “misinformation” to justify that stance – although his wording is different as he accuses the platforms of allowing “crazy non-factual things to achieve critical mass.” Once again, Gates would like to see government action against the things he dislikes, and is “disappointed” that allegedly neither the government nor tech companies are/have not been doing anything about “fixing or improving” the situation. He’s “thinking of the children” once again here (just not so much about those who were the victims of UK’s grooming gangs and the censorship around it). “This approach isn’t going to be very good. Take vaccine misinformation: that could get dangerous. Children can die of measles,” said Gates. Intelligence Community Directive 406 Expands US Spy Agencies’ Ties with Big Tech

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties, subscribe to Reclaim The Net. Intelligence Community Directive 406 was signed in the dying days of the Biden Administration – on January 16 – essentially, yet another part in a recent big drive, pushed particularly strongly during the recent WEF meetings in Davos, to promote “public-private” partnerships. The directive, as Ken Klippenstein reports signed by the then director of national intelligence, was focused on encouraging US intelligence agencies to “partner” with those privately owned corporations that already have troves of data at their disposal – such as, for example, tech corporations behind social platforms, but also those developing AI. A new administration has taken over in the US, and as of this time, it remains unclear how or if it intends to implement and use these newly introduced powers. The order’s key provisions are to facilitate how spy agencies can use both data and expertise that corporations have. The misgivings about this particular policy view have to do with how vast both these categories have become, and how they have fueled financial success of tech companies, and therefore their role. It could also be read as one last ditch effort to compromise the credibility of Big Tech, and put a question mark over some new trends, involving a number of these corporations openly turning against their “tormentors” of many years, and embracing the new administration. And, if the order were to be carried out by that new administration, it would see intelligence agencies going “all in” to create – or deepen – their work with the said companies, including by employing “risk acceptance” as a part of prioritizing National Security Entity (NSE) engagements. This comes down to the US intelligence apparatus supposedly relaxing its own security restrictions in order to advance such “partnerships.” The document details how this should happen, one thing being “expanding the use of one-time read-ins” which would do away with previously established security clearance protocols when the need is identified for private individuals to be “briefed” by US spy agencies. Observers note that the directive is murky in terms of what specific kind of “engagement and cooperation” it seeks to promote, but, Ken Klippenstein writes, “their target clearly includes the appistocracy who attended President Trump’s inauguration last week.” Klippenstein’s take is that the government needs Big Tech more than is the case the other way around. The Trump administration’s moves, specifically around how the directive is carried out, will shed light on that point.
