Democrats continue laughably dishonest talking point in the face of stalled progress in the House over more financial assistance for Ukraine. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) claimed Donald Trump and Tucker Carlson are leading a “pro-Putin faction” in the GOP that’s stymying additional financial aid to Ukraine. In a CBS “Face the Nation” interview with Margaret Brennan on Sunday‚ Jeffries complained that Ukraine aid has failed to advance in the House because of “pro-Putin” Trump and Carlson. “The reason why it’s not happening is because there’s a pro-Putin faction in the Republican Party led by Donald Trump and Tucker Carlson who are blocking this legislation‚” Jeffries told Brennan.
