A major fundraiser for former President Barack Obama says that she is now supporting former President Donald Trump because President Joe Biden has been an unmitigated disaster for the United States. Allison Huynh, a 48-year-old Vietnamese immigrant who co-created an AI and robotics company that was bought by Google, reportedly raised millions of dollars for Obama’s 2008 campaign, the New York Post reported. “My role was to bring in Silicon Valley people for the $50,000- and $100,000-per-plate dinners,” she told the publication. “[We] brought in [Google co-founders] Sergey [Brin], Larry [Page] and Eric [Schmidt]. Former President Donald Trump’s campaign hammered President Joe Biden over an executive order easing the pathway to U.S. residency for hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants. Biden announced a new executive action on Tuesday that eases the residency application process for about 500,000 illegal immigrants who have been in the U.S. 10 years and are married to a U.S. citizen. Another roughly 50,000 noncitizen children who are under 21-years-old and whose parent is married to a U.S. citizen will be covered by the order as well.
