Highlights from Ronald Reagan’s powerful 1984 speech at Normandy on the 40th Anniversary of D-Day

Today, 40 year later, Joe Biden is at Normandy. I won’t bother to post any of this sorry excuse for a president’s drugged-up speech because he probably doesn’t even know where he is. At Normandy, Ronald Reagan’s voice at times cracked with emotion as he delivered the speech at the U.S. Ranger Monument at Pointe […]

D-Day With Uncle Joe

Once and for all, I will say this again. Uncle Joe’s problem isn’t that he is old. He has dementia and brain damage from surgeries for two brain aneurysms. Also, he wasn’t born all that bright and is a congenital liar. When he got into the Senate, he did it with his dear Dixiecrat segregationist […] The post D-Day With Uncle Joe appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

Google’s D-Day Banner Is … Another Day Of Pride Month Celebrations

Thursday, June 6, marked the 80th anniversary of the Normandy invasion — D-Day — a major turning point in the European theater. For Google, apparently, June 6 was just another day of a month-long LGBTQ+ Pride celebration. Google’s “doodle” on the D-Day anniversary was author and activist Jeanne Córdova – and a handy tab underneath the search bar on the home page steered visitors toward “Pride”-related content. “In honor of Pride Month this Doodle celebrates Chicana lesbian activist, feminist, and author Jeanne Córdova, a pioneering leader of the LGBTQ+ rights movement,” Google described the June 6 “doodle.” This is how Google is celebrating the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Some random LGBTQ+ feminist author. pic.twitter.com/tr7DJ0Gy1W — End Wokeness (@EndWokeness) June 6, 2024 “Today’s the 80th anniversary of D-Day. But if you go to Google‘s homepage, you couldn’t tell. Today’s Google page today is celebrating some wokey no one’s ever heard of,” one posted. Today’s the 80th anniversary of D-Day. To celebrate, Google is featuring a German lesbian activist on the homepage and our President sat in an invisible chair and left Emmanuel Macron to greet veterans by himself,” another added. CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP “Today’s coffee-stained Google Doodle is in honor of Angelo Moriondo, the Italian innovator who created the espresso machine,” the explanation appeared on 9to5Google. June 6, 2022, would have been Moriondo’s 171st birthday.

Man Jumps Into River To Save Dog Desperately Treading Water

One New Jersey man is being called a hero for his courageous efforts to save a stranger’s dog from drowning! A video of the incredible rescue has been going viral on social media. In the clip, you can see how one of the frantic owners watched helplessly as her pooch struggled against the Hudson River. Thankfully, that’s when a kind bystander started wading into the water. Unfortunately, the dog was pretty far out at this point, so trying to save him wasn’t going to be easy for the man. In the footage, the pooch was little more than a black speck in the distance! Still, this good Samaritan wasn’t about to give up. He swam all the way out to where the pup was treading water. This brave man jumped right into the Hudson River to save a dog! “If you could just, like, swim behind him and scare him maybe towards us?” the dog mom shouted after him. Although the dog seemed to have a few misgivings about the human coming to save him, he eventually stopped trying to swim away from the man. That’s when the guy was finally able to grab hold of the pooch and drag him to shore. The owners were beyond grateful to have their beloved pet back, safe and sound! This video is receiving tons of views on YouTube. Commenters are truly impressed by this guy’s courageous animal rescue! Screengrab from YouTube “Wow. Thank you for being the hero that pup needed,” one user wrote. Another added, “This guy is a human angel.” We’re not sure how this pup ended up in the Hudson River in the first place. It looks like he wasn’t on a leash, so it’s possible that he was let off for a run. However, he also could have accidentally gotten loose. Either way, we’re so glad that this man was willing to jump in and save the poor dog! You can find the source of this story’s featured image here.
