We "the taxpayers" paid for this military stuff so why is it acceptable that we leave it for our enemies to be able to recover it and use it against us or our allies?!!!!!!
"The White House acknowledged Tuesday that the Taliban had amassed a significant amount of US military equipment after seizing control of Afghanistan following two decades of war with American forces.
Pictures and videos have shown the Taliban with firearms and vehicles that Pentagon troops used or provided to the Afghan national security forces, as well as advanced UH-60 Black Hawk attack helicopters and other equipment at the Kandahar airport.
"We don't have a complete picture, obviously, of where every article of defense materials has gone. But certainly, a fair amount of it has fallen into the hands of the Taliban," said White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan."

At least a few are coming to their senses and are trying to stop this fiasco!!!
“GOP Sen. Jerry Moran, who is up for reelection and initially endorsed the bipartisan infrastructure framework, just announced his opposition to the final bill and said he plans to vote against it,” a CNN reporter first reported:
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who wanted to fast-track the Senate floor proceedings to quickly pass the bill on Saturday, failed to do so amid opposition from Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN), who was unwilling to consent to the bill’s advancement because of the Congressional Budget Office’s dismal score of the mammoth 2,702-page legislation.
“I wasn’t elected by the people of Tennessee to be the most popular person in the Senate. I was elected to stand up for their interests,” Hagerty said. “I can’t in good conscience vote to accelerate a flawed bill that puts us another quarter of a trillion-plus in debt, especially when we haven’t had an opportunity to dig in and understand its substance or economic ramifications.”
