Rob Schneider removed from charity event for 'offensive' jokes about trans people that allegedly made audience members cry

Comedian Rob Schneider was reportedly removed from the stage of a fundraising event for a charity after he made jokes about vaccines and transgender people, which offended audience members.Schneider was allegedly asked to end his set early during an event for the Hospitals of Regina Foundation in Saskatchewan, Canada, at a Four Seasons hotel. The comic's jokes and commentary apparently offended several audience members, with one person in attendance claiming that Schneider's words even made some audience members cry."I really felt strongly after seeing many people ... some were in tears, some were incredibly upset, people were leaving the room, that I just said to myself [that] I can't sit by and do nothing," said attendee Tynan Allan. Schneider was saying things that were "very anti-vaccinations" and "very against trans folks," Allan told CBC News, Canada's state broadcaster.'We do not condone, accept, endorse or share Mr. Schneider's positions, as expressed during his comedy set.'Described by the outlet as a "diversity expert," Allan also claimed he heard "misogynistic things" before he decided to complain to event organizers."I went up and and asked to speak to the organizers of the event, at first they were incredibly dejective [sic] and sort of saying 'well, we're not going to do anything and we hired this guy and lots of people are laughing, so why would we shut him down?'"Allan said he complained to organizers that Schneider's content was "completely inappropriate and offensive and really filled with hatred.""We have to recognize what [Pride] day means to people, especially in a hospital setting where people go through gender-affirming care and reproductive care and fertility treatments," Allan continued. Eventually, the foundation acquiesced and asked Schneider to leave the stage, with the activist alleging that security was "waiting to escort him out."The foundation later released statements on Schneider's appearance, apologizing and saying that organizers did not agree with the comedian's statements."While we recognize that in a free and democratic society individuals are entitled to their views and opinions and that comedy is intended to be edgy, the content, positions and opinions expressed during Mr. Schneider's set do not align with the values of our Foundation and team," the foundation said in a statement, according to Global News."We do not condone, accept, endorse or share Mr. Schneider's positions, as expressed during his comedy set and acknowledge that in this instance the performance did not meet the expectations of our audience and our team," the group continued. "An unconditional apology was offered right after to our guests and our community. We reiterate this sincere and unconditional apology today, for any offense caused by Mr. Schneider's recent comedy set, at the Four Seasons Ball."The foundation reportedly stated that Schneider calmly left the stage when he was asked.Schneider has not yet made public remarks about the event, and his representation did not immediately respond to a request for comment.Like Blaze News? KC Chiefs player goes into cardiac arrest after seizure — and Harrison Butker steps up

When Kansas City Chiefs defensive end BJ Thompson went into cardiac arrest after a seizure during a special teams meeting Thursday, kicker Harrison Butker stepped up.Rick Burkholder, Chiefs vice president of sports medicine and performance, said Butker left the meeting to alert the team's medical personnel of what was happening to Thompson, ESPN reported, adding that athletic trainers and a team doctor initially treated him until fire department personnel arrived.'He loves all of us. We’re a family. This is so much deeper than just football. We root for each other — and in a moment like that, you just have to call yourself to action. Harrison did that.'More from the sports network: Thompson was in cardiac arrest for a minute to a minute and a half, Burkholder said, before he was transported to a local hospital. He said Thompson was sedated Thursday and through the night and was on a ventilator overnight to help with breathing.Thompson regained consciousness Friday and was removed from the ventilator.Burkholder in an update said Thompson, 25, was alert, awake, and "coming through quite well [and] headed in the absolute right direction," ESPN added."We don't have a diagnosis," Burkholder noted, according to the sports network. "And in medicine, sometimes you don't have that."The Chiefs held a team meeting before Friday's practice to update players on Thompson's progress, ESPN said, adding that head coach Andy Reid noted that "if it had to happen, no better place than right here where you have the support that knows what to do."Turns out the team held a meeting just days before Thompson's medical emergency that went over what players and team personnel should do in similar situations, Arrowhead Pride explained.“The NFL mandates that we do these emergency action plans for every team in the league — home, away, and in the practice facilities,” Burkholder told reporters Friday, the outlet noted. “We are mandated to practice multiple times a year.”Butker went right to the team's training room to notify trainers Julie Frymyer and David Glover, Arrowhead Pride noted.“Harrison is that guy,” safety Justin Reid told the outlet. “He loves all of us. We’re a family. This is so much deeper than just football. We root for each other — and in a moment like that, you just have to call yourself to action. Harrison did that.”Butker, a Catholic, last month came under left-wing fire after giving a graduation speech at Benedictine College, a small Catholic school, during which he dared to say to women, "Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world."Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder in the middle of the band's Las Vegas concert called Butker a "f***ing p***y" over the star kicker's words. A sportswriter said a woman should replace Butker, reporters endlessly quizzed Butker's teammates about him, and on the first day of Pride Month, singer Katy Perry actually posted an edited version of Butker's graduation speech to make it politically correct. But amid all the furor, Butker refused to apologize.Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!

Glenn’s latest speech will leave you stunned: 'We won’t make it through the next New Year's if men don't stand up'

At Jason Whitlock's "Fearless Army Roll Call 2.0" event, Glenn Beck delivered a speech that caused eyes to well and spines to tingle. As our country hurdles toward what looks to be impending destruction, we all want to know what we can do to reverse course and restore America to the beacon of hope she once was. Glenn’s resolution is simple: “Surrender to Jesus Christ.” Not only will this save our country, but it will also redeem individual lives and break toxic generational cycles. Sharing a bit from his own tragic past, Glenn revealed that the power of Christ alone was what transformed his life, which was initially defined by alcoholism, suicide, and child abuse, into the one you see him living today. Likewise, Christ alone is the answer to America’s glaring problems. “Surrender to Jesus Christ,” Glenn told the Fearless audience. “That's what our country needs to do.” In addition to Jesus, however, there’s another person the men in this country would do well to emulate — a person Glenn says he can’t seem to find any dirt on. “I can find bad things on everybody,” he said, “but I can’t find anything on [George] Washington.” Washington, like all true heroes, Glenn explained, didn’t strive for fame or glory. In fact, “All the man ever wanted to do was be a farmer at Mount Vernon.” But despite his wishes, America’s first president was destined for a level of greatness few have since achieved. What set Washington apart from others? Two things, according to Glenn. “He wanted to discover what it meant to be a good man,” and “he served his whole life,” he explained, sharing little-known details from Washington’s life, including his first book (written at age 8!), his insecurities, his alleged obsession with ice cream, and above all, examples of his character. “If it wasn't for [Washington] and the honor that he built since he was a child, we wouldn't exist.” And if we don’t do something about the current godless state of America, our future may not exist, according to Glenn. “We won't make it through the next New Year's if men don't stand up — men of God and peace — people who understand the full armor of God,” he told the audience. Whether people want to see it or not, America is already at war. But to win this war, we need a different kind of weapon — “the sword of [God’s] truth — his Word.” “Why do you think they’re silencing everybody?” Glenn asked. “They are terrified of the truth.” To hear Glenn’s full speech, watch the clip below; to watch the Roll Call event, head over to blazetv.com. Alex Jones to SELL Infowars — what's the main takeaway?

There are some big changes coming for Infowars. Alex Jones has dropped his efforts to declare bankruptcy and has agreed to liquidate his assets in order to pay the $1.5 billion in damages he owes families of the Sandy Hook mass shooting. The victims' families had asked a bankruptcy judge in Texas to liquidate Jones’ media empire and Infowars parent company, Free Speech Systems. One attorney representing the families explained that “speech is free, but lies you have to pay for.” “There’s really no avenue out of this,” Jones said on Sunday. “I’m kind of in the bunker here. And don’t worry, I’ll come back. The enemy can’t help but do this attack.” Pat Gray is not happy with the outcome. “It’s unconstitutional, and more people need to be pissed off about this,” Gray says. “You can’t fine a man who doesn’t make anything like that, won’t make that in a lifetime, you can’t fine him 1.5 billion dollars.” “I don’t like that he thought it was a hoax,” Gray adds, referencing Jones’ previous claim that the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax. “I think it was silly that he thought it was a hoax, but to drive him out of business over it, to sue him for 1.5 billion dollars over it.” Jeffy notes that there seems to be an ulterior motive here — which is silencing Jones. “They’ve already done a pretty good job of it,” Gray agrees. “If there is one case you can point to and say, you can only pick one, ‘this is un-American,’ it’s right here. You are going after a person’s voice with this ridiculous amount of money,” Keith Malinak says. “I don’t care if he told 500 lies about fill in the blank. It’s free speech man.” “It’s agonizing that America just doesn’t exist in its foundational form anymore,” Gray adds. There’s a problem with iPhone AI that might hurt Apple more than it’s willing to admit

The iPhone is the only product in Apple's lineup where Apple goes out of its way to avoid mentioning the amount of RAM. Apple has continued to upgrade the capacity and speed of its iPhone RAM over the years. Also, iOS is optimized to work with more limited memory availability. Often, the iPhone beats rivals with much more RAM in speed tests thanks to Apple's ability to control the hardware and software experience like that. As a longtime iPhone user, I've never felt like the iPhone had trouble handling what I throw at it, even when using iPhones that were several years old. But no matter how fast and smooth the iPhone is, Apple probably doesn't like to mention RAM capacity for marketing reasons. Android phones used to have (and need) much more RAM. However, most recently, some vendors have tempered the memory upgrades, with Samsung being one example. But now that the age of AI is here, Apple's RAM strategy for the iPhone might hurt the iPhone more than the company is willing to admit. The language models that power on-device AI — which is the kind of private AI that Apple wants to offer users in iOS 18 — might come with minimum RAM requirements. That likely means that older iPhone models won't get the latest and greatest AI features from Apple. After all, the only way to upgrade the RAM will be to have an iPhone 15 Pro or to buy an iPhone 16 this fall. Continue reading...
