It’s a cultural touchstone that has something for everyone and now, 9 to 5 is getting a remake, produced by Friends icon Jennifer Aniston. Country music icon  Dolly Parton, part of the original main cast and the mind behind the subsequent song of the same name, wants to be in this upcoming remake and hopes her former co-stars can join her. The original 9 to 5 was released in 1980 and starred Parton alongside Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda as women swept up in the chance to get even with their boss who is “sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot,” the full package, played by Dabney Coleman, who passed away on May 16.
