“Fuck the Rock n Roll hall of fame its full of BUMBACLARTS‚” Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher posted last Saturday on X following his band’s nomination for induction into the Hall. “There’s something very fishy about those awards‚” and “You know it I don’t need some wank award by some geriatric in a cowboy hat‚” Liam wrote. He also discouraged a supporter from promoting fan votes‚ responding with: “Don’t waste your time kid as much as it’s appreciated it’s all a load of bollox.” He told fans that if the band is inducted‚ they shouldn’t expect him to attend the ceremony. If the Rock Hall fan vote is any indication Gallagher has nothing to worry about. Ozzy Osbourne‚ Peter Frampton and Foreigner have already garnered over 40‚000 votes each.
