‘Nonbinary’ teacher pushes chemical castration for kids; Stuckey fights back with facts

Of all the debates raging between the left and the right, whether or not children should be allowed to medically transition is arguably one of — if not the — most important one. Allie Beth Stuckey of "Relatable" has been unwavering in her position that children should not be allowed to medically transition, and she made her case during a recent debate with Desmond Fambrini on "The Ellen Fisher Podcast." When Fambrini cites approval for puberty blockers from the American Psychiatric Association and the Trevor Project, Stuckey is ready. “I would say, unfortunately, a lot of those institutions and the people in those institutions are captured by a particular ideology that really sacrifices the well-being of kids, so my answer to that question would be unequivocally no,” Stuckey says. “If you’re thinking about puberty blockers, 10, 11, 12 years old, you certainly do not have the ability yet to understand the long-term consequences of what you’re putting your body through. Not only your body, but also your mind actually requires puberty to be healthy,” she adds. Stuckey explains that these are “irreversible procedures and processes that kids cannot consent to because they do not have the mental ability to understand the long-term repercussions.” One of those long-term repercussions is fertility, which Stuckey believes is one of the more important reasons not to medically transition children. “Not everyone’s focus is fertility,” Fambrini fires back, before Stuckey explains that children don't know whether or not they’re going to want kids when they’re young — so to take that away from them is cruel. “Also, for example, the decay of the uterus when you have too much testosterone in your body as a woman. All different kinds of physical maladies that come with trying to change your body into what it can never be,” Stuckey adds. Not only are there physical maladies, but the pain of detransitioners around the world is hard to ignore. “Not only did they detransition and realize, ‘Oh, I want to be a mom,’ they realized, ‘Oh, I really want to breastfeed. Now, I can’t do that.’ And unfortunately, the adults in their life had the same mentality that kind of you just expressed, that, ‘Well, if you can drive a car, you can decide to cut your healthy breasts off.’ And now they’re living forever with that guilt,” Stuckey explains to Fambrini. When Fambrini notes that the stats reflect that individuals are happier after medically transitioning, Stuckey again disagrees. “I am not basing my disapproval of and disagreement with transition on the rates of regret or not. I think it is objectively, morally, ethically wrong to mutilate your body, in particular as a child,” she explains. “I am never going to be for the blocking of puberty or the chemical castration of a young person.” Want more from Allie Beth Stuckey? To enjoy more of Allie’s upbeat and in-depth coverage of culture, news, and theology from a Christian, conservative perspective, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.

Naval Special Warfare Command, which includes Navy SEALs, celebrates Pride with rainbow-hued post — and gets excoriated

The United States Naval Special Warfare Command — which includes Navy SEALs —celebrated the first day of Pride Month with rainbow-hued message on its Facebook page. The June 1 post includes the NSWC logo backed with horizontal bars colored red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple — along with the words "NSW, Dignity, Service, Respect, Equality, Pride." As you might expect, there was a just a little bit of backlash against the post. 'So glad I got out before this bulls**t took over.' Sara Gonzales — host of BlazeTV's "Sara Gonzales Unfiltered" — told Blaze News that it's "truly terrifying that at a time when our own administration is drumming up conflict across the globe, seemingly chomping at the bit for World War III, they’re also stacking our military with diversity hires. The military is one of the most important places to recruit based on merit and strength, both physically and mentally, rather than who you choose to sleep with. If conflict does come our way, we’re screwed."A number of commenters on the NSW Facebook post appeared equally disturbed: "So glad I got out before this bulls**t took over," one commenter wrote. "Fix yourself," another user said. "This is a disgrace." "This emboldens our enemies almost as much as a Joe Biden gaffe," another commenter declared. "Someone has lost the plot here," another user observed. "Man this woke sh.. is like a cancer and needs to be handled and [dealt] with as a threat to national security," another commenter stated. "Gone way too far."Anything else? The Department of Defense on Saturday night posted the following on X: — (@) Fox News said the DoD earlier Saturday "appeared to mix up" Pride Month and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness Month, as a now-deleted X post included the above "Celebrate Pride Month 2024" image with a Progress Pride Flag graphic along with the following message: "June is PTSD Awareness Month, and the DoD is committed to supporting service members and veterans affected by PTSD." The U.S. government first recognized PTSD Awareness Month in June 2014, one year before June was declared Pride Month, the cable news network added. Like Blaze News? ABC anchor shows his true colors when Trump attorney points out inconvenient fact about Trump prosecutor: 'In front of you'

ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos ended an interview on Sunday when his guest offered evidence questioning the Biden administration's influence in Donald Trump's hush-money trial. At the end of a contentious interview, Trump attorney Will Scharf argued the prosecution of his client proves the "weaponization of our legal system" and the "politicization of prosecution." 'You want to talk about political coordination, George, it's right there in front of you.' "Remember, this case in New York, it was called the 'zombie case.' It sat and sat and sat. It could have been brought at any point after 2020. And then suddenly, when President Trump announced his campaign for president, it was dusted off, rushed in front of a grand jury, and then rushed into court," Scharf argued. "You want to talk about the politicization of the legal system, I mean this is exhibit A." For some reason, the assertion that America's legal system is politicized caused Stephanopoulos to defend President Joe Biden's Justice Department. "Of course, the attorney general in Manhattan has nothing to do with the Department of Justice," Stephanopoulos rebutted. But Scharf pushed back. "I vehemently disagree that the district attorney in New York was not politically motivated here, and I vehemently disagree that President Biden and his political allies aren’t up their necks in this prosecution," Scharf responded. "I think the fact that the Biden campaign —" he continued when Stephanopoulos interjected to defend Biden. "There's no evidence here of that. Sir, there's no — there's not — I'm not going to let you continue to say that. There's just zero evidence of that," Stephanopoulos claimed. To the contrary, Scharf then offered evidence that calls into question the potential role that Democratic politics played in the Manhattan DA's decision to prosecute the "zombie case." "Well, how about the fact that Matthew Colangelo was standing over Alvin Bragg’s shoulder when he announced this verdict? I mean, Colangelo was the No. 3 official in the Biden Department of Justice, who suddenly disappears and shows up as an assistant district attorney right as Trump’s case in New York starts to proceed," Scharf explained. "You want to talk about political coordination, George, it's right there in front of you," he added. Stephanopoulos — a former Democratic operative who went from the Clinton administration to ABC News — responded by simply claiming, "This has nothing to do with President Biden." He did not, however, respond to Scharf's point about Matthew Colangelo. Colangelo worked in Biden's DOJ as the associate attorney general — the third-highest job in the DOJ — before leaving in December 2022 to join the Manhattan DA's office. Colangelo, like Bragg, also previously worked in the New York attorney general's office, where they helped target Trump repeatedly. At the time he joined Bragg's office in Manhattan, the New York Times reported that Colangelo was "likely to become one of the leaders of the district attorney’s criminal inquiry into the former president." And that's exactly what happened. Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!

The best feature of Apple’s foldable iPhone might have nothing to do with the screen

A recent wave of rumors claims that Apple will release a foldable MacBook before a foldable iPhone. Supposedly, Apple is targeting 2026 as a potential launch window for a foldable computer. To get there, Apple reportedly wants foldable displays that don't have a visible crease when unfolded. Apple and LG might be working on crease-free foldable displays that measure almost 20 inches when unfolded. Separately, Samsung might start reducing the prominence of the crease with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 this year. Next year's Samsung foldables might have even better displays. But what if the key tech for making a foldable iPhone isn't necessarily the perfection of hardware design? Instead, what if it's the perfection of software? Continue reading... Ancient Roman Maritime Pavilion Excavated off Italy’s Coast

A significant archaeological discovery has been made off the coast of Campo di Mare, Italy, revealing a submerged Roman-era structure that once formed part of a grand villa complex. This find is the latest in a three-year initiative by the Soprintendenza Archeologia Belle Arti Paesaggio Etruria Meridionale to excavate and preserve ancient Roman architecture lost to the sea over time.  Read moreSection: NewsHistory & ArchaeologyAncient PlacesEuropeRead Later
