The five Marines aboard a helicopter that went missing and was later found to have crashed in California earlier this week are dead‚ the U.S. military said Thursday morning. The helicopter was flying from Creech Air Force Base in Nevada to Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego for a routine training exercise when it was reported as “overdue‚” prompting a search and rescue operation. Authorities with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department and the Civil Air Patrol found the CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter while searching a snowy mountainous region on Wednesday‚ The New York Times reported. Hours later‚ the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing announced that all the Marines on board the helicopter were dead. “It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that I share the loss of five outstanding Marines from 3d Marine Aircraft Wing and the ‘Flying Tigers’ while conducting a training flight last night‚” Maj. Gen. Michael J. Borgschulte said in a statement. “These pilots and crewmembers were serving a calling greater than self and were proud to do so.” Update: The five 3rd MAW Marines have been confirmed deceased. “To the families of our fallen Marines‚ we send our deepest condolences and commit to ensuring your support and care during this incredibly difficult time.” -Maj. In addition‚ “JRE” was the No. 2 most listened-to podcast for women 13 and older in the U.S.‚ according to Edison. Number two. And it’s not for lack of female-centric podcasts or alternatives across the pop culture landscape. And that includes true crime podcasts‚ audio catnip for many women. Turns out women love Rogan‚ too. So-called “toxic masculinity” must be called out and avoided at all costs. There’s no term toxic femininity‚ right? Plus‚ he kept on challenging authority‚ promoting his professional and personal interests as if the woke mob never knocked on his door. That’s courage in 21st-century America‚ and Rogan’s alpha male instincts served him well. Thus the new Spotify deal‚ reportedly worth up to $250 million. Men appreciate Rogan as much for his content as his attitude toward their gender. He preaches discipline‚ much like Dr. Jordan B. The 51-year-old actor posted a lengthy rant about the incident on Facebook‚ calling the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” creator a “stupid‚ self-centered‚ tone-deaf a**hole” for the stunt. “Holy s*** it’s even worse than I thought‚” Wheaton wrote of the incident. “What the f*** is wrong with that guy? A mama dog and her puppies were rescued from their home by two rival football players during a dangerous flood in Canada. When Brady Oliveira and Shai Ross arrived‚ the area surrounding the Peguis First Nation residence was already underwater. They found the adult dog panicking outside the house while her babies were inside. Between the two men‚ they were able to carry the pooches to safety. Apparently‚ the owners of both the residence and the dogs were forced to flee their home due to the rising floodwaters. However‚ they made sure to contact emergency services and notify them about the pets they’d left behind‚ according to CTV News. Brady works with K9 Advocates Manitoba‚ so paramedics entrusted him with the house keys. Thankfully‚ he and Shai got there in time to rescue the frantic dogs!
