Michael Knowles And Gen Z Feminists Debate Feminism‚ ‘Real Women’ And Transgenderism

On a popular podcast‚ Daily Wire host Michael Knowles and Gen Z feminists debated feminism‚ what it means to be a “real woman‚” and the dangers of transgenderism. During Knowles’ appearance Thursday on the “Whatever” podcast‚ the Daily Wire host said that feminism is “harmful” to women and said he disagrees with the Gloria Steinem belief that there is no inherent difference between men and women‚ something he said “totally erases women.” “Because if a woman tries to be a man‚ she’s always going to fail‚” Knowles told the women on the show. “I think women are great and women have a wonderful nature.” “And when women are fully women‚ they can really flourish‚ and when they pretend to be men‚ they get miserable‚” he added. Knowles then pointed out why the transgender issue is ultimately harmful to women. “Trangenderism believes that men and women are so similar that one can become the other‚” Knowles told the ladies on the panel‚ who weren’t all in agreement with him. “Transgenderism is men and women are so similar‚ they’re not complementary‚ sex is not immutable  … it’s actually a social construct‚” he added. Later in the three-plus hour show‚ the transgender issue came back up and Knowles pointed out that transgenderism is an error of feminism. “Most reasonable people know that men can’t become a woman‚” the DW host said. “This is why I have pity for feminists who are trans-exclusionary radical feminists because they don’t realize it was their own ideology that led to this.” Near the end of the show‚ the topic of “What is a Woman?” was debated‚ with both Knowles and two out of the three Gen Z feminists agreeing that there’s a difference between what the hosts labeled a biological “real woman” and a trans-identifying male. One of the feminists‚ PxieLove‚ said‚ “a woman is a person who acts and is perceived as a societal perception of a woman‚” and Knowles replied‚ “that’s at least half of it.” CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP Another panelist‚ Farha Khalidi‚ opted to not give a definition without doing “more research on the topic‚” over which she was blasted by the panel. While the third feminist panelist‚ Jazman Jafar‚ said she felt similar to Pxie that “trans-women and biological women are the same‚ but I don’t think trans-women are men either‚” saying there can be an “umbrella term for women.” Knowles pushed back on the idea and Jafar claimed that a person’s “biological identity” could be different from their “social identity.” However‚ the majority of the feminists seemed to come to some agreement with Knowles that when it comes to the sports world‚ biological men “might” have an advantage when competing against women in female sports.

Iranian IRGC Commanders Go Into Hiding As Biden Admin Continues To Leak Details Of Alleged Retaliatory Strikes: Reports

Commanders in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) — a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) — have reportedly gone into hiding in Iraq and Syria after President Joe Biden’s administration have repeatedly leaked their alleged plans to launch retaliatory strikes against those responsible for murdering three U.S. soldiers and wounding dozens more over the weekend. CBS News reported that Biden officials confirmed to the network “that plans have been approved for a series of strikes over a number of days against targets — including Iranian personnel and facilities — inside Iraq and Syria.” Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin‚ who has a pro-Biden slant to her reporting‚ responded to CBS’s report by noting that “all of those IRGC commanders have already left Syria and gone into hiding leaving those bases.” “The Pentagon usually does not telegraph so much if it wants the element of surprise‚” she added. The Biden administration further sought to diminish Iran’s role in the more than 160 Iranian-backed terrorist attacks against U.S. forces in the region over the last few months‚ telling Politico that they don’t believe Tehran has full control of the terrorist groups that it funds. Politico said that the “disclosure” by the Biden administration‚ which was mocked online by policy experts‚ “could lower the chance of the U.S. getting pulled into a direct confrontation with Iran.” “Full control is irrelevant‚” said policy expert Norman Roule. “Tehran has the capacity to choke off weapons to militias and highly likely the ability to halt action by major groups that rely upon Tehran for significant financial and political support.” Politico also reported that the Biden administration blames Israel for Iranian-backed terrorist groups attacking U.S. forces‚ saying that if Israel stopped trying to kill Hamas terrorists inside Gaza who carried out the October 7 terrorist attack‚ “there would at least be a tactical pause in the region by all Iran-backed groups.” Secretary of State Lloyd Austin was asked on Thursday about IRGC commanders fleeing back to Iran to avoid being killed by U.S. forces. “Has there been too much telegraphing‚ or is the point not to kill any Iranian commanders?” a reporter asked. “In terms of telegraphing about strikes and whether or not people leave or would have left‚ you know‚ I won’t speculate on any of that‚” Austin said. “I will just tell you that‚ you know‚ we will have a multi-tiered response‚ and again‚ we have the ability to respond in a number of times depending on what the situation is.” CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) slammed the Biden administration on Thursday for tipping off Iran and its terrorist groups on the U.S. Military’s planned response‚ saying that it was a reflection of “Biden’s policy of fear and appeasement and conciliation.” “Just like with Ukraine and before that with Afghanistan‚ he’s scared of his own shadow‚” Cotton said. “He keeps worrying about escalation. What we saw over the weekend was a massive escalation by Iran. The only way to solve that threat is to directly target Iran’s terrorist forces throughout the region and in Iran itself‚ to make it clear that we will never tolerate the deaths of our fellow Americans.”

Harvard Hosts ‘Gathering to Breathe and Heal’ Event To Help Students Grieve Claudine Gay’s Ouster

The Harvard Divinity School’s Office of Diversity‚ Inclusion and Belonging hosted a “Gathering to Breathe and Heal” event on Thursday to help students grieve the resignation of disgraced former President Claudine Gay. “For this gathering‚ we will create a space for us to discuss and process the departure of our former president‚ Claudine Gay‚” the office wrote in a newsletter announcing the event‚ obtained by The Daily Wire. The event was intended to give participants the opportunity to “gather to breathe and to heal.” Gay was forced to resign from her position last month amid allegations of plagiarism in various academic works that came to light while she was already under immense pressure for her failure to address the rise of antisemitism on campus. The newsletter stated that many students are feeling grief upon their arrival to campus. “This grief and loss may be connected to our personal lives; national and global unrest‚ harm‚ and violence; storms and natural disasters; or these increasing times of tension and divide on our campus and in our communities‚” it said. “For many of us‚ this grief and loss also includes the resignation of former President Claudine Gay after her short tenure.” Harvard Divinity School’s Diversity‚ Inclusion and Belongings office announcement of its “Gathering to Breathe and Heal” event. “This is not a space for debate; rather‚ it is a container for holding emotions in community knowing that the circle holds us all‚” the email read. The event was facilitated by Melissa Wood Bartholomew‚ Associate Dean for Diversity‚ Inclusion‚ and Belonging‚ and Steph Gauchel‚ Assistant Dean for Diversity‚ Inclusion‚ and Belonging. Harvard Divinity School email announcing the event regarding the grieving of Claudine Gay’s presidency. The office said it remains “steadfast” in its commitment to navigate current challenges on campus through “a restorative justice approach rooted in indigeneity and operationalized through love.” READ MORE: Harvard Employee Harasses Jewish Student Suing School For Anti-Semitism‚ Asks To Debate 9/11 Conspiracies

Nikki Haley‚ Trailing Far Behind Trump‚ Pledges Campaign Not Over: ‘I’m Not Going Anywhere’

Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley said in an interview this week that her presidential campaign was not over‚ despite trailing former President Donald Trump in the latest RealClearPolitics average by more than 50 points. Haley made the remarks during a Thursday interview with Jake Tapper on CNN’s “The Lead” when asked about RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel suggesting that Haley needed to drop out of the race. “I absolutely think it was inappropriate‚” Haley said. “We have had two states that have voted. You need 1‚215 delegates. Donald Trump has 32. I have 17. We still have 48 states and more territories to go before we get there.” “I’m not going anywhere‚ Jake‚” she continued. “I’m going to continue to go all the way through South Carolina. Then we’re going to go on to Super Tuesday‚ and we’re going to keep on going forward. This is about the fact that we can’t live in chaos anymore.” CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP WATCH: TRANSCRIPT: JAKE TAPPER: Did you think it was inappropriate when the RNC chair‚ Ronna McDaniel‚ suggested that you need to drop out because she didn’t see a path for you? NIKKI HALEY: I absolutely think it was inappropriate. We have had two states that have voted. You need 1‚215 delegates. Donald Trump has 32. I have 17. We still have 48 states and more territories to go before we get there. I’m not going anywhere‚ Jake. I’m going to continue to go all the way through South Carolina. Then we’re going to go on to Super Tuesday‚ and we’re going to keep on going forward. This is about the fact that we can’t live in chaos anymore. This is about the fact that we have got to focus on what it’s going to take to not just get our domestic policy on track‚ but what are we going to do to prevent wars and to make sure we keep Americans safe? We can’t do that with the two guys there. Americans are telling people that. We need to start listening and make sure that we focus on what it takes to win a primary‚ so that we can get our country back on track. TAPPER: So you’re committed to staying through — staying in the race through Super Tuesday‚ no matter what happens in South Carolina? HALEY: We’re moving. I mean‚ what I will tell you in South Carolina is‚ we’re going to close that gap. My goal is to be more competitive in South Carolina. It’s always been to build on momentum. We started with 2 percent in Iowa. We ended with 20 percent. We went into New Hampshire. We got 43 percent. In South Carolina‚ we want to get even more competitive than that. And then we will go into Michigan and we will go into Super Tuesday. We have a country to save. I’m not going anywhere‚ because I don’t want my kids to live like this. I don’t want anybody else’s kids to live like this. We have been in total distraction for a long time. And we know that‚ when America’s distracted‚ the world is less safe. And all you have to do is look around the world and see that. I’m going to stay in this for the long haul‚ because I think it’s important and I know that we need to get this done.
