President Donald Trump blasted Texas Congressman Chip Roy on Truth Social. He called him out for getting in the way of GOP efforts. Not only that, but said he was seeking cheap publicity and aiding Democrats. Then President Trump urged Republicans to prioritize “America First” and warned against bowing to Democratic demands. And even if it means a temporary government shutdown. Funny thing how the people against a government shutdown are the same people that were all for shutting down the economy a few years ago. President Trump is making it clear, RINOs will be called out. No more hiding. President Trump posted on Truth Social: The very unpopular “Congressman” from Texas, Chip Roy, is getting in the way, as usual, of having yet another Great Republican Victory – All for the sake of some cheap publicity for himself. Republican obstructionists have to be done away with. The Democrats are using them, and we can’t let that happen. Our Country is far better off closing up for a period of time than it is agreeing to the things that the Democrats want to force upon us. Biden is President, and it’s his obligation to properly lead. We’re there to do the right thing, and we can’t agree with what Biden and the Democrats are demanding. Weak and ineffective people like Chip have to be dismissed as being utterly unknowledgeable as to the ways of politics, and as to Making America Great Again. Put “America First,” and go for the Victory, even if it means shutting the Government down for a period of time. We had an overwhelming Victory just four weeks ago, and we’re not going to let the Democrats forget it so quickly! Chip Roy is just another ambitious guy, with no talent. It looks like they lied to you (and me) again! Of course, that’s not really surprising at this point, but it is interesting they’re now admitting it. Why? Because they know Trump will “out” them when he gets in if they don’t come clean now. Turns out that after telling us we only had 900 US troops in Syria for the past year (which is still 900 too many), it turns out we actually had over 2,000! The exact number is unknown and “over 2,000” could mean a lot of things. They also can’t exactly tell us how long it’s been over 2,000, unable to even pin it down to months or years. “OOPSIES!  Sorry about that little goof-up.  Hey, don’t blame us, we just discovered it!” Stunning. The U.S. had previously said 900 troops were in Syria, but Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder, the Pentagon press secretary, announced that 2,000 were there and had been for a while. The Pentagon had been asked repeatedly in recent days and weeks about the U.S. presence in Syria and never disclosed the dramatic increase. Ryder said the additional forces had been in Syria “at a minimum months — it’s been going on for awhile.” He told reporters the increase in forces was temporary and they are there to augment the U.S. operations against the Islamic State group. He said U.S. Army conventional and special operations forces make up the bulk of the additional troops. Rebel forces overthrew Assad two weeks ago.
