“Parents Not Home‚ You Know What That Means… Alpaca On Table!”

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to have an unusual pet‚ folks on social media have you covered. Marianna Hoover is the perfect example‚ sharing the most adorable videos of her alpaca. Turns out‚ though‚ her experience is oddly similar to having any other four-legged friend roaming around where they shouldn’t. Though‚ I have to say‚ it’s much more odd to see an alpaca sitting on table than a cat. In Marianna’s video‚ she jokingly makes it seem as though she has no idea where this particular alpaca is hanging out (yes‚ there is more than one). Because when she walks into the kitchen‚ the adorable alpaca is lounging about on her kitchen counter. Woman “Catches” Her Alpaca on a Table‚ Living Their Best life @marianna_hoover ♬ original sound – Cory In the comment section of Marianna’s video‚ people have lots of questions. For starters‚ they want to know how on earth Marianna got this cute creature on the counter in the first place. Turns out that lifting alpacas‚ at least for her‚ isn’t that hard. But we can’t forget the next important question… “Where does one acquire an alpaca?” one person writes in the comment section‚ echoing a sentiment shared by many. @marianna_hoover ♬ original sound – Kai|Kinzø|Zerø While some dream of the day they‚ too‚ can have an alpaca‚ others simply can’t get over the way the cute creature is sitting. Most notably‚ someone pointed out that they’re “loafing” like a cat. How adorable is that!? Although we aren’t all equipped to have alpacas of our own‚ at least we can admire those who do online! “My Great Grandma Told Me She Didn’t Feel Pretty And Wanted A Dress…”

When this great-grandma said that she “didn’t feel pretty anymore‚” her great-granddaughter wanted to brighten her spirits with a little dress shopping! She shared the most adorable video of the outing on TikTok. This footage shows three generations of women — a great-grandma‚ her granddaughter‚ and her great-granddaughter — hitting the stores together. It looks like they had the best time trying on dresses! “My great grandma (97) who only ever wears pants and a tshirt told me she didn’t feel pretty anymore‚” wrote the TikToker in her caption of the dress shopping video. “This coming from such a strong‚ powerful and inspirational woman honestly broke my heart.” @taleeeena My great grandma (97) who only ever wears pants and a tshirt told me she didn’t feel pretty anymore. This coming from such a strong‚ powerful and inspirational woman honestly broke my heart. She mentioned she might like to wear a dress again‚ and I know she hasnt worn one since Pa passed away‚ so I was determined to have this be a special and fun day for her. Mum and I took her dress shopping and we truley had the best girls day. She smiled and laughed so much (more than I’ve seen her laugh in a long time)‚ she was obviously sassy as she always is‚ she was very particular and picky in the make of the dresses‚ the fabric used and the way it did up. It was beautiful to sit and watch her look in the mirror and admire who she was and how she looked in each dress‚ but also watch her point out what she didnt like about herself and some of the dresses (because thats human‚ and seeing my great grandma do exactly what I would do when trying on clothes was so incredibly relatable and realistic to the unrealistic standards we put on ourselves. I was so glad I could be there to tell her she looked beautiful because she truley is in every way)‚ I watched her move around in the dresses to see how they would look when she was doing puzzles at the retirement village‚ I watched her face light up when she tried on a dress that made her feel pretty‚ but at the end of the day there was nothing like seeing her face when she tried on ‘the’ dress that made her feel all the wonderful things we see her for from on the outside but she never sees herself. She deserves to feel special and I’ll never take for granted how lucky I am to spend time and have these kinds of days with my great grandma #grateful #special #wholesome #greatgrandma #grandma #girlsday #shopping #shoppingspree #fyp ♬ what was I made for? – Instrumental – Wheeler Since the young woman’s great-grandma said she’d like to start wearing dresses again‚ it seemed like the perfect opportunity to help her feel beautiful. The elderly woman tried on a variety of lovely pieces and looked amazing in all of them! Of course‚ the best part of these garments was the smile they brought to her face. At one point‚ all three women tried on the same floral dress together‚ making Great-grandma laugh. By the end of the trip‚ the 97-year-old left with a big shopping bag. She looked so happy with her new purchases! Screengrab from TikTok Sometimes‚ we all need a little reminder that we’re beautiful. Kudos to these awesome ladies for helping this great-grandma buy the dress of her dreams! You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. “Extremely Important” and Adorable Pygmy Hippo Born in Greece Zoo

For the first time in 10 years‚ Attica Zoological Park in Athens‚ Greece‚ has welcomed a brand new baby pygmy hippo into their midst. These critters have actually become fairly rare in captivity‚ so a lot of people are pretty excited about this adorable little guy! He was born on February 19 and has yet to be named. His parents are Lizzie and Jamal‚ the only other animals of their kind at this zoo. Noi Psaroudaki‚ a wildlife veterinarian at Attica Zoological Park‚ explained to Reuters the significance of this baby pygmy hippo’s birth. “This is the first birth in the zoo in 2024‚ and what a birth!” she said. “Every captive birth of pygmy hippos is extremely important. We’re very happy to see this baby grow into a healthy adult hippo‚ and hopefully one day reproduce.” It’s apparently especially fortunate that the Attica Zoological Park’s newest pygmy hippo is a boy. As an endangered species‚ it’s crucial for these creatures to be able to breed. However‚ there’s been quite a shortage of males living in captivity‚ which has made things difficult to say the least! Screengrab from YouTube Although staff at the zoo in Athens‚ Greece‚ have high hopes for this pygmy hippo‚ the calf won’t be leaving his mother’s side for the time being. Welcome to the world‚ little guy! You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. Crows Return Every Year To Groom Horse And Use Hair For Their Nest

Crows Return Every Year To Groom Horse And Use Hair For Their Nest

In a beautiful display of a symbiotic relationship‚ two crows return to groom a horse for the second year in a row. This activity between these critters seems normal and natural because it is. Crows are incredibly intelligent‚ so remembering where to obtain the bestest nesting material is not impressive; it is expected. Image from TikTok. Two videos‚ posted a year apart by Alexis Savannah‚ show that the crows know a good thing when they find it. You would be incorrect if you think the crows might be bothering the horse. Shedding the winter coat comes naturally‚ so the loose hair is just hanging on‚ held on by the remaining fur. The crows grab the loose hairs‚ performing what would happen during a regular curry session with a brush. The first video‚ from 2023‚ shows how these industrious crows fill their beaks with tufts of horse hair. @alexissavannaofficial Such a beautiful example of #Mutualism #crow #horse #horsetok #equestrian #symbiosis ♬ I Think I Like When It Rains – WILLIS Horse owners brush or curry their horses to remove the excess clumps of hair that fall out during molting. Crows help when they groom the horse by lining their nests with luxurious fur upholstery. A symbiotic relationship exists between the crows and the horse. The horse does not attempt to dislodge the birds; removing the shed fur probably feels good. The fur harvest‚ which seems to have become an annual event‚ is helpful to both the horse and the birds. @alexissavannaofficial New year new nest same crows same horse #mutualism #symbiosis #crow #horse #equestrian #horsetok ♬ flower day – jeanie In the second video‚ posted in 2024‚ Alexis explains that these are the same two crows who came to groom the horse last year. They obviously liked the comfort provided. Who wouldn’t love custom fur upholstery to raise young crows? The horse wasn’t using the fur‚ and it would have ended up on the ground or in a trash bin. “A Different Kind Of Rescue‚” Cave Unit Called In To Save Dog Trapped While Chasing Raccoon

When an advenurous dog chased a raccoon into an Alabama cave‚ he soon found himself way in over his head and in need of a rescue! However‚ the Swearengin Fire Department and Marshall County 911 didn’t have much luck getting the pooch out of his predicament. It was time to call in a more specialized team: the Huntsville Cave Rescue Unit! This group of volunteers was quick to help out in what they called “a different kind of rescue.” As the Huntsville Cave Rescue Unit wrote on Facebook‚ they were able to safely remove the dog and set him free. Facebook “We are happy to say that the very happy canine was reunited with his appreciative owner‚” the post stated. “While the pup was a little wet‚ cold‚ and hungry he was thankfully unscathed.” Although the cave rescue team did not find the raccoon that the dog had been chasing‚ they’re not too worried about the creature’s wellbeing. According to them‚ these animals are actually pretty good at spelunking! Footage of the daring rescue on YouTube shows volunteers slowly coaxing the dog out of an uncomfortably tight crawlspace using a harness. He looked pretty eager to get out of there! Facebook We’re so glad that the volunteer rescue team was able to save this adorable dog. Hopefully the pooch has learned a valuable lesson about following raccoons into unfamiliar territory!
