When this wedding photographer lost an SD card with thousands of precious images on it, she was absolutely devastated. Maya James was traveling in Iceland at the time, and she could barely even enjoy the gorgeous scenery when she considered all the work she’d never recover. Or, at least, so she thought. It turns out that, even as she was grieving her loss, strangers on the internet were working to reunite her with her pictures! Apparently, a fellow photographer had found the lost SD card and immediately turned to social media for help. They shared some of the images online, asking if anyone recognized the couples in the wedding pictures or knew who might have taken them.
