Foreign invaders ride the Taxpayer Express

Foreign invaders ride the Taxpayer Express

The next time you’re fondled at the airport by a TSA agent‚ look around. You may very well see foreign nationals ushered through security without proper documentation and disregarding every TSA rule. While Joe Biden pretends that millions of invaders from 150 countries are a natural occurrence‚ his administration is using taxpayer-funded nongovernmental organizations to disperse tens of thousands of them throughout the country. This cannot be allowed to continue. Why won’t Republicans pledge to put an end to it by refusing to fund one more penny of this scheme with the budget deadline looming? It’s time for House Republicans to refuse to fund these organizations and well past time for states to begin indicting the leaders of these nonprofits for violating state and federal laws. In September‚ the Center for Immigration Studies obtained partial data showing that 221‚000 illegal aliens were flown into our airports in the first three quarters of the year. The government enlists NGOs to help with logistics and even to advertise in foreign countries how to navigate the U.S. immigration and asylum process. For example‚ Miles4Migrants and Welcome.US have partnered with American Express Global Business Travel‚ “to make travel more accessible to Cubans‚ Haitians‚ Venezuelans‚ Ukrainians‚ and Nicaraguans seeking refuge in the United States.” These are not organizations that operate on the fringe of the law and society. Miles4Migrants’ honorary co-chairmen include Barack and Michelle Obama‚ George W. and Laura Bush‚ and Bill and Hillary Clinton. Breitbart recently reported that “several regular travelers” at Tucson International Airport “were politely told to exit the special ‘migrant security line’ because they were not noncitizens.” The NGOs provide “noncitizens” with transportation‚ logistical support‚ and a map of the layout of the airport. TSA‚ in turn‚ established a special line whereby the invaders could fly without proper documentation. I’m sure they are not getting screened like we are. A recent report from a Florida grand jury on illegal immigrant smuggling noted that taxpayer-funded NGOs have an incentive to encourage more illegal aliens in order to bolster their budgets. “The river of accountability-free money has absolutely polluted the entire process‚” noted the grand jury Governor Ron DeSantis empaneled in 2022. “Given the breadth of our mandate‚ we focused on transnational criminal organizations and illegal immigration. … We discovered‚ however‚ that there are also ‘legal’ organizations who appear to be misusing federal contract monies and their ‘nonprofit’ status in order to abet the process‚ and likely the actors‚ responsible for the illegal activity we are describing.” One would think that if taxpayers are funding groups to aid border security‚ they’d use the money to dissuade would-be migrants from embarking on such a dangerous journey. Instead‚ they advertise the trip to the world’s poor and benighted people and facilitate every step. The grand jury’s 146-page report notes how the nonprofits “provide cash cards‚ cell phones‚ and transport vehicles and what amount to safari-style guide maps through portions of jungle and across deadly terrain‚ increasing the number of individuals who thus elect to make the journey and enabling Transnational Criminal Organizations to amass fabulous wealth and a bottomless pool of victims in the process.” The panel recommended a separate grand jury be convened to focus solely on the criminal activity of the NGOs. The crux of the report’s findings is that Americans are sending billions of dollars to insidious groups responsible for the human‚ financial‚ cultural‚ and drug trafficking misery that the government has a duty to stop. We have been giving $2.7 billion to NGOs every year just to pay for the resettlement of unaccompanied alien children. Federal law makes a felon of anyone who “knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to‚ entered‚ or remains in the United States in violation of law‚ conceals‚ harbors‚ or shields from detection‚ or attempts to conceal‚ harbor‚ or shield from detection‚ such alien in any place.” The law also makes a criminal of anyone who “encourages or induces an alien to come to‚ enter‚ or reside in the United States‚ knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to‚ entry‚ or residence is or will be in violation of law” or anyone who “engages in any conspiracy to commit any of the preceding acts‚ or aids or abets the commission of any of the preceding acts.” Section 3 of the Immigration Act of 1891 made it a felony to “assist or encourage the importation or migration of any alien by promise of employment” through advertisements. Any alien who came in due to such advertisements was deemed inadmissible‚ and that law was designed to prevent people from encouraging them.Earlier this year‚ in United States v. Hansen‚ the Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of the law‚ noting it does not outlaw advocacy of illegal immigration but rather aiding and abetting illegal immigration through actions. It’s time for House Republicans to refuse to fund these organizations and well past time for states to begin indicting the leaders of these nonprofits for violating state and federal laws. The way to stop the Biden invasion is to put his NGO allies behind bars. Biden’s use of NGOs is eerily similar to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko’s effort to stage thousands of Middle Easterners in Minsk as a means of destabilizing the rest of Europe. After thousands of imported migrants from Minsk crossed into Poland and the rest of the EU in 2021‚ EU Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen correctly identified his stratagem as a “hybrid attack” instead of a “migration crisis.” Ironically‚ she conveyed this very complaint about Lukashenko to Joe Biden himself! — (@) European countries have already accused Belarus of working with travel agents to invade Poland and Lithuania. This is essentially what Biden is doing — except‚ unlike Lukashenko‚ he is staging an invasion against his own people. As we watch the chaos and mayhem continue on our southern border and beyond‚ only one question matters: Will Americans continue funding our own demise in next month’s Homeland Security budget bill? There is only one right answer.

Trump scores victory as Michigan Supreme Court declines to hear case about removing him from ballot: 'We are not persuaded'

Former President Donald Trump scored another legal victory in his pursuit of the Republican Party's 2024 presidential nomination after the Michigan Supreme Court declined to hear a case about removing him from the state's primary ballot.Four Michigan voters filed a case to remove Trump from the primary ballot‚ citing the former president's alleged role in the incident at the U.S. Capitol on January 6‚ 2021. The suit filed by the voters claimed that Trump's actions amounted to "insurrection or rebellion" and that he was therefore ineligible to become president. Section 3 of the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution — a clause added to the Constitution nearly 160 years ago in the wake of the Civil War and the attempted secession of many Southern states — strictly prohibits those who have engaged in such "insurrection or rebellion" from holding most federal offices. Notably‚ president and vice president are not included among the list of offices forbidden to insurrectionists and rebels‚ though "elector of President and Vice-President" is.On Wednesday‚ Michigan's highest court declined to hear the case submitted by the four voters. "We are not persuaded that the questions presented should be reviewed by this Court‚" Justice Elizabeth M. Welch wrote in the order. The state supreme court's order agreed with a decision earlier this month from the Michigan Court of Appeals‚ which similarly declined to hear the case. Both courts gave the same basic reason for declining to hear the case: Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson (D) does not have the authority to remove Trump from the ballot in this instance. Welch's order called the secretary of state's authority in determining who qualifies for the ballot "limited" and claimed that Benson "lacks the legal authority to remove a legally ineligible candidate from the ballot once their name has been put forward by a political party in compliance with the statutes governing primary elections."The order did express some agreement with the appellants' argument that political parties are state actors "subject to constitutional restrictions" but did not rule on such an argument since there were no political parties named in the litigation. Appellants may "renew their legal efforts as to the Michigan general election later in 2024 should Trump become the Republican nominee for President of the United States or seek such office as an independent candidate‚" the order said. The order also discussed the recent ruling from the Colorado Supreme Court‚ which barred Trump from the primary ballot in that state. On a 4-3 vote‚ Colorado's high court ruled that Trump is ineligible for the ballot because of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. Trump has promised to appeal that case to the U.S. Supreme Court‚ and the Colorado Republican Party has already indicated it might move from a primary vote to a caucus system to circumvent the court's ruling.Michigan's Supreme Court claimed that Colorado election laws differ from Michigan election laws in "a material way" since Colorado law requires that candidates be "qualified" for office to be eligible for the ballot. Michigan law has no such stipulation‚ the order said.Like Colorado‚ Michigan is considered a swing state‚ and its electoral votes may help decide the 2024 presidential election. The Michigan primary will be held on February 27. The Colorado primary will be held on March 5‚ also known as Super Tuesday. The supreme court of Minnesota ruled last month that Trump could not be barred from the state's primary ballot. The secretary of state in Maine is still considering whether to remove Trump from the ballot‚ so litigation in that state may be forthcoming as well. Republican presidential candidate John Castro has filed lawsuits attempting to bar Trump from ballots in more than a dozen states‚ but so far‚ the courts have not ruled in his favor. "After careful consideration‚ the Court finds that this case must be dismissed for lack of subject-matter jurisdiction because Castro lacks standing to bring his claim‚" wrote U.S. District Judge Douglas Rayes regarding Castro's lawsuit in Arizona.Like Blaze News? Did REPUBLICANS just vote to 'THROW AWAY the 4th Amendment'?!

The House of Representatives recently voted for an extension of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act Section 702‚ which allows the warrantless surveillance of American citizens in certain cases. However‚ this wasn’t just a Democrat effort. 147 Republicans voted for the extension‚ along with a majority of the Democrats. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) is in shock‚ saying the vote “just threw away the Fourth Amendment to our Constitution.” 73 Republicans and 45 Democrats voted against the extension. Glenn Beck calls it “insanity‚” asking Massie what those who voted for it were thinking. “Well‚ Glenn‚ they put you in a SCIF here‚ one of these secret rooms without your phone‚ and they try to convince you the world’s going to end if you don’t allow them to reauthorize this‚ but that’s a false choice‚” Massie explains. While what has happened is far from good‚ there’s still a sliver of hope. “People ask me ‘Is there any hope?’” Massie says‚ saying there’s a “5% chance we can fix it” and a “30% chance that it all goes to hell.” But he plans on sticking it out through that “hell.” “I can be here to try to put it back together‚” he tells a somber Glenn. Massie doesn’t want to defend them‚ but he doesn’t completely blame the 147 Republicans who “voted the wrong way‚” either. “They were given a false choice. They were saying‚ ‘If you don’t fund this program then we won’t be able to spy on terrorists‚ and oh‚ by the way‚ we’ve attached it to the military funding bill and the soldiers won’t get paid‚’” Massie explains. Glenn disagrees with Massie‚ in that those who voted poorly should be blamed. “You’re being much too kind. I’m sorry‚ if you’re in Congress and you fall into that trap‚ which has been used over and over and over again by both sides‚ you’re a moron and not smart enough to be in Washington‚ D.C.‚” Glenn says. Want more from Glenn Beck?To enjoy more of Glenn’s masterful storytelling‚ thought-provoking analysis‚ and uncanny ability to make sense of the chaos‚ subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America‚ defend the Constitution‚ and live the American dream.

Pornhub's parent company admits to profiting from sex trafficking operations

The FBI said that Aylo Holdings‚ Pornhub's parent company‚ was "motivated by profit" when it came to profiting off of women who were sexually exploited.Aylo Holdings S.A.R.L. was arraigned on a charge of engaging in unlawful monetary transactions involving sex trafficking proceeds‚ the Justice Department stated in a press release.According to the DOJ‚ Aylo hosted pornographic videos created by a company called GirlsDoPorn‚ which was indicted in 2019 by a federal grand jury in California for‚ among other charges‚ sex trafficking offenses in which the company was accused of "deceiving and coercing young women to appear in sex videos which were then posted online without the women’s consent" in United States v. Pratt‚ et. al.Since the indictment‚ several of the operators of GirlsDoPorn have allegedly been convicted in connection to the prosecution. The DOJ went on to describe that according to Aylo's admissions and court documents‚ the company "knew or should have known" that money received from GirlsDoPorn operators came from sex trafficking operations."This deferred prosecution agreement holds the parent company of Pornhub.com accountable for its role in hosting videos and accepting payments from criminal actors who coerced young women into engaging in sexual acts on videos that were posted without their consent‚" said United States Attorney Breon Peace. The FBI also said that Aylo was "motivated by profit" and "knowingly enriched itself by turning a blind eye to the concerns of victims who communicated to the company that they were deceived and coerced into participating in illicit sexual activity."James Smith‚ FBI assistant director in charge‚ added that "any entity that engages in sexual exploitation will be held to account for the mental anguish and terror imposed on victims."The DOJ noted September 2017 as an example of an instance when Aylo allegedly learned that many women who appeared in certain videos had filed a lawsuit alleging that they had been tricked and coerced into filming adult videos. Furthermore‚ the women claimed that the videos were posted to Pornhub.com without their consent.Aylo allegedly did not independently verify consent and did not remove all the videos that were requested to be taken down. Also according to the DOJ‚ Aylo removed videos in question in October 2019.Pornhub has faced heightened scrutiny in 2023‚ particularly in Virginia‚ where it was compelled to enforce an age restriction feature on its website.Rather than comply‚ the website chose to cease access in the state altogether. "The safety of our users is one of our biggest concerns. We believe that the best and most effective solution for protecting children and adults alike is to identify users by their device and allow access to age-restricted materials and websites based on that identification‚" wrote Pornhub. "Until a real solution is offered‚ we have made the difficult decision to completely disable access to our website in Virginia."Like Blaze News? Tesla issues another safety recall‚ impacting 120‚000 vehicles with potentially faulty doors

Tesla issued another recall this week‚ impacting an additional 120‚000 vehicles‚ according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The automobile manufacturer is recalling 2021 through 2023 Model S and Model X vehicles over potentially faulty doors.A letter from the NHTSA states that the vehicles’ “cabin doors can be unlocked during a crash‚” noting that “an unlocked door may unlatch and open during a crash‚ increasing the risk of injury.”Tesla plans to release an over-the-air software update to remedy the issue. Therefore‚ owners will not need to bring their vehicles in for service. Tesla plans to send out notification letters in February. The fault was discovered earlier this month “during routine validation side-impact testing” when an engineer noticed a door “unlatch after impact on the non-struck side” of the vehicle‚ the NHTSA’s report explained.Tesla’s engineers discovered that the vehicle used in the test “was operating without the lockout functionality‚” which was “inadvertently excluded” from several software releases. The company is not aware of any injuries related to the fault. Two weeks ago‚ Tesla issued a massive recall estimated to impact nearly all its vehicles in the United States‚ Blaze News previously reported. Over 2 million Model S‚ Model X‚ Model 3‚ and Model Y produced between 2012 and 2023 were impacted. The NHTSA conducted an investigation into Tesla‚ reviewing 956 accidents where the drivers claimed to have the vehicles’ Autopilot feature engaged. The agency concluded that Tesla’s Autosteer “may not be sufficient to prevent driver misuse.”To remedy the problem‚ Tesla plans to issue an over-the-air software update that would “incorporate additional controls and alerts to those already existing on affected vehicles to further encourage the driver to adhere to their continuous driving responsibility whenever Autosteer is engaged‚ which includes keeping their hands on the steering wheel and paying attention to the roadway‚” the NHTSA stated. The agency noted that drivers who fail to adhere to the additional safety measures may be suspended from using Tesla’s Autosteer feature. An NHTSA spokesperson told NBC its investigation into Tesla “remains open as we monitor the efficacy of Tesla’s remedies and continue to work with the automaker to ensure the highest level of safety.”Tesla contends that accidents are less likely to occur when drivers engage Autopilot. “In the 4th quarter of 2022‚ we recorded one crash for every 4.85 million miles driven in which drivers were using Autopilot technology. For drivers who were not using Autopilot technology‚ we recorded one crash for every 1.40 million miles driven. By comparison‚ the most recent data available from NHTSA and FHWA (from 2021) shows that in the United States there was an automobile crash approximately every 652‚000 miles‚” Tesla wrote on X earlier this month.Tesla did not respond to a request for comment from NBC. Girl‚ 14‚ repeatedly stomps‚ punches head of another girl in class: Cops. Victim hospitalized; suspect released to guardian.

A 14-year-old girl repeatedly stomped and punched the head of another 14-year-old girl in a Delaware high school classroom last week‚ police said — and while the victim was hospitalized‚ the suspect was released to a guardian. What are the details?Delaware State Police said the suspect entered a classroom in Lake Forest High School in Felton around 1 p.m. Dec. 19 and repeatedly punched and stomped on the victim’s head. Felton is just over an hour south of Wilmington.Teachers removed the suspect from the classroom‚ and a school resource officer detained the suspect‚ police said. The parent of the girl who was attacked took the victim to an area hospital‚ where she was treated for serious head injuries‚ police said. The suspect on Saturday turned herself in on a charge of second-degree felony assault‚ police said‚ adding that she was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 7 and released to a guardian on a $5‚000 unsecured bond. How are folks reacting?Commenters on a story about the incident posted to Yahoo News were incredulous over the extreme violence and how the legal system is handling things:"Stomping a person's head is not assault‚ it is attempted MURDER‚" one commenter said. "Stomping the head is the prison method inmates use to kill. This little murderer's so-called parents should be be charged also.""Felony assault? How about felony attempted murder. You punch someone that is assault; you stomp on someones head‚ that is attempted murder‚" another commenter added. "Make an example out of her. Charge her as an adult and send her to prison for at least 25 [years]. If she does not get in trouble in prison then she can get out; if she gets into trouble‚ then she stays there for life. She did this once; she will be able to do it again.""We'll just a do a restorative circle‚ talk about why you stomped the girl‚ make sure you understand that 'you cannot stomp on the girl's head‚' talk about who[se] fault this really is‚ like society‚ or some mythical mental condition‚ or some systemic 'thing‚' we'll give you a cookie and hot chocolate‚ make sure you're okay and your feet aren't sore from stomping on the girl's head ... if they are‚ we'll massage them for you‚ then send you back to class ... this approach has made school violence so much more rare and much less severe than it was 25 or 30 years ago‚ right?" another commenter wondered.Like Blaze News? Apple Watch ban latest example of feckless Biden leadership

Apple Watch ban latest example of feckless Biden leadership

Just days before Christmas — the busiest shopping season of the year — two of the hottest tech products were withdrawn from sale by Apple: the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2. And it’s largely thanks to the weak hand of President Biden. Apple also can’t replace older Apple Watch models‚ going back to the Apple Watch Series 6. So if you break a screen‚ you’re out of luck because Apple Watches are practically impossible to repair — Apple tends to replace them instead. There is one exception: Apple will still replace broken Apple Watches under warranty. To add even more holiday fun‚ if you got the wrong Apple Watch under the tree this year‚ you can’t exchange it for a different size or band style. You can‚ however‚ return it to Apple for a full refund. Note that the sales ban doesn’t currently apply to third-party retailers like Amazon and Best Buy. How did Joe Biden let the Apple watch be banned? How did we get here? It all comes down to the blood oxygen sensor feature introduced in the Apple Watch Series 6. Back in October‚ the U.S. International Trade Commission ruled that Apple violated light-based pulse oximetry patents held by Masimo‚ an Irvine‚ California-based medical device manufacturer. So the ITC decided to ban imports of the Apple Watch three whole years after the technology was introduced on the market. President Biden then had a 60-day period when he could have vetoed the import ban. President Obama did so for iPhones and iPads back in 2013. However‚ Biden declined to veto the import ban. On Tuesday‚ December 26‚ U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai‚ who handles such requests for the president‚ announced that the administration would let the ban stand. An anti-consumer decision from Biden I’m not a patent attorney‚ so I won’t delve into the merits of Masimo’s case or whether the ITC was correct to ban the Apple Watch. Apple is one of the world’s wealthiest companies‚ and it’s no stranger to questionable business practices. But this much I can say for sure: This sucks for Apple Watch owners‚ and that’s who ultimately suffers for it. And the Biden administration is more than happy to let them suffer. It’s also not a wise economic move. Apple is one of our economy’s biggest drivers and is valued at about 10% of the U.S. GDP. Banning one of America’s hottest products during a shaky economic period is unwise. Regardless of whether Apple infringed on Masimo’s patent‚ the fact is that these companies do not compete directly against each other. Masimo makes dedicated medical devices‚ and Apple makes consumer electronic fashion accessories that happen to have medical features. Masimo does make a smartwatch of sorts‚ the $500 Masimo W1 Sport‚ which is more expensive than an Apple Watch and emphasizes health features over general computing functions. The W1 Sport is a niche device aimed at a much smaller audience. Simply put‚ Obama was wise enough to belay an outright ban on the iPhone and iPad. Biden is not as wise. So now we must wait for Apple and Masimo to come to a settlement. Apple should compensate Masimo fairly for its patents‚ but better leadership from President Biden could have avoided a total ban.
