A family is traveling on Highway 441 near West Palm Beach‚ Florida when they notice a bright light hovering over the road. They stop and watch‚ realizing it is a craft when a being descends from it.I received the following account:"My husband‚ Sam‚ and my 5-year-old daughter were returning to Miami after a visit to Sam's daughter in West Palm Beach‚ Florida. We got off the turnpike and headed toward Highway 441.Directly in front of the car we saw a bright light hovering about 40 feet above the road. We turned left onto 441 and the light followed our car for five minutes or so before it reached a clearing. The object then shifted into a disk shape. The lights around the center were alternating blue and white and seemed to going counter-clockwise.We pulled over and observed the craft for at least fifteen minutes. It let down a silvery‚ luminous rope or beam of light. After a couple of minutes an "astronaut" was let down. All we were able to see of this being was that it was very‚ very tall and had on a suit of some sort. The craft which made no noise slowly headed toward our car and passed over it at a distance above us of about 10 feet. I pulled myself halfway out of the window to get a better look at the underbelly which resembled the bottom of a turtle. When the UFO crossed the street it changed into a ball of light once again then changed into a star-like object‚ zigzagged across the road and then went straight up at an astronomical rate of speed and disappeared.I know this sounds fantastic‚ but my husband and I were not drinking and are of sound mind. We were never able to forget or stop talking about this extraordinary event. From now on we will never be able to look at the stars in the same way. The heavens are filled with a distant mystery. If you have a sighting or encounter that you'd wish to share‚ feel free to send it to me.Winter 2021 – Florida - “I think I had a brief encounter a couple of years ago while I was jogging on a sidewalk around where I used to live. It was a trail partially surrounded by a forest‚ divided by a road.While I was jogging I heard knocks close to where I was passing through and suddenly this stench like sulfur or rotten meat came from nowhere and that overwhelming sensation that someone was watching me. I was so scared that I quickly turned back home running as if the devil was following me. When that happened it was getting dark already‚ it was late in the afternoon around 5:30 in the winter season.I told my wife when I came back home what happened to me and she was laughing like I was telling stories‚ she told me that probably there was a creek with still water around there and that's why it was stinking‚ the weird thing was as I told her‚ there was no stench when I passed through there 10 minutes before‚ it came out suddenly‚ and it was really strong.I went running by that sidewalk again the next day with her and the stench wasn’t around the area anymore. I never went jogging around there at that time that's for sure. Strange thing to happen in an area like that cause it wasn't that rural‚ there's a lot of communities around there. I'm from Florida." One evening after a hike l saw something moving in the trees ever it was like looking through water‚ but it had a shape. l tried to show my dad‚ but he didn't see it. I remember him telling me my eyes were playing tricks cause it was getting dark. Years later when the movie 'Predator' came out l almost jumped out of my seat. THAT IS WHAT I SAW!!!” RJR-----"A while ago I came across your site and read about David Eckhart and his family as well as other unexplained things you write about. I decided to send you my description of something that happened to me when I was 14 years old.Every August my family‚ aunt‚ uncle‚ and cousins would spend a week camping at Cabwaylingo State Forest. It was a tradition because my grandparents used to do the same thing when they were raising my dad and aunt‚ except we were using campers. Back then we could take our bikes along and go all over the place.In the summer of 1991‚ my cousins (2 boys - we were all within 3 years of age of each other) decided to go to an area we had never been before. I remember seeing a trail sign that had 'Sleepy Hollow' on it so I suppose that was the name of the area. Most of the trail was along a small creek and it was a very thick forest. It was around noon time and it had been overcast all day. We were raised in a rural area so our parents didn't worry too much about us exploring the park.There was a group of large rocks near the trail so we decided to stop and take a look. We were just jabbering when we noticed a loud humming sound coming from above us. We looked up into the trees and were hit in the face with what I describe as a blast of energy.All I can remember is my cousins yelling at me because I had been knocked out. I asked them what happened and they said they were knocked out as well. We started to get scared because everything around us seemed different than before‚ so we headed back to the campsite.When we got back my mom asked me why we didn't come back for dinner. I looked at my watch‚ it was gone. I hadn't even noticed. She told me it was just after 7 pm. No wonder everything seemed strange out on the trail! We must have been knocked out for about 6 hours.My cousins and I were very tired - so much so that we headed to our bunks right after eating. I was exhausted but I couldn't fall asleep. In the morning I was feeling very sluggish. My cousins slept until 11 am. Later in the day‚ we decided to tell our parents what happened out on the trail.To be honest‚ our parents thought we were playing a stunt on them by concocting this wild story about being knocked out for 6 hours by a blast of energy. I was very upset with them‚ especially my dad because he never let me forget about it. To this day he still thinks it was a made-up story.My cousins and I still talk about what happened that day. We all feel that we were possibly abducted because of some of the weird dreams each of us has had since. In 2005‚ I was diagnosed with leukemia though I'm now in remission. One of my cousins was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma while my other cousin has suffered kidney disease for over 10 years. We had been 100% healthy before the incident on the trail. Though we have never seen any scars or marks on our bodies we truly feel that we were physically and mentally violated by something."
