"Theodore John Conrad showed up for work as a bank teller in Cleveland. At the end of his shift, the then 20-year-old stole $215,000, stuffed it into a paper bag -- and vanished, authorities said.
Theodore John Conrad pulled off one of the biggest bank robberies in Cleveland history, the US Marshals Service said.
That was in July 1969, and he stole the equivalent of $1.7 million today in one of the biggest bank robberies in the city, the US Marshals Service said.
Now more than five decades later, the federal law enforcement agency announced Friday that it's identified the man considered one of the nation's most wanted fugitives.
Conrad had been living in Boston since 1970 under the name Thomas Randele, authorities said. In yet another dramatic twist, his home was close to where the movie "The Thomas Crown Affair" was filmed. In the original movie, the main character steals more than $2 million from a Boston bank.
"A year before the Cleveland bank robbery, Conrad became obsessed with the 1968 Steve McQueen film," the US Marshals Service said in a statement. "The movie was based on the bank robbery for sport by a millionaire businessman, and Conrad ... bragged to his friends about how easy it would be to take money from the bank."

The first smear of blood on Biden's hands...there will be much more!!!
"Yery Noel Medina Ulloa, who recently turned 24, “was busted Oct. 7 in Jacksonville when he was found covered in blood after allegedly killing Francisco Javier Cuellar, 46, a father of four who had taken in the immigrant who told authorities he was 17,” The New York Post reported. “Ulloa, who turned 24 on Friday, had duped border authorities in Texas several months earlier by claiming he was a teenager named Reynel Alexander Hernandez — and even told his mom about the ruse.”
The Post added that it was unclear how Ulloa arrived in Florida following his detention in Texas or whether he was moved across the country on the Biden administration's covert late-night flights.
According to the Post, Cuellar's daughter, MaryCarmen, believes Ulloa was on one of those planes because she claims her father went to the airport one day and Ulloa "just appeared out of nowhere."
“My dad seemed like he was doing a favor for somebody because where [Ulloa] came from they are super poor,” MaryCarmen told the Post. “We feel that someone asked my dad to do it. My dad was really compassionate like that, he would help someone who needed it."

"Michigan State Police Niles Post and New Buffalo Police Department are asking for help identifying the woman whose remains washed ashore on the New Buffalo breakwater of Lake Michigan on April 8, 1988. Police believe she could be a missing person from any of the states that border Lake Michigan.
The body of the New Buffalo Jane Doe is described as a middle-aged white woman who was approximately 5 feet and 5 inches tall, weighed 175 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. Michigan State Police say in a media release that they believe she was wearing a wig or braided extensions that had been pulled from her scalp.
New Buffalo Jane Doe was found wearing a pair of men's denim blue jeans with a wide double ring in a size 38, with a striped cloth belt. Under her jeans, she was wearing a pair of red, white, and blue shorts, full-length pantyhose, and black ankle boots with a zipper at the top.
New Buffalo Jane Doe was found without a shirt but did have on a bra police describe as heavy-duty, sandy in color, and containing a clasp in the front. Police say the original investigators made no mention of whether socks or underwear were present.
