A federal judge on Tuesday afternoon denied California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom’s request to immediately limit President Donald Trump’s use of California National Guard troops in Los Angeles.  Newson asked U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer to limit the enforcement activities of the federal troops to the “immediate vicinity” of federal property while Newsom’s lawsuit against the Trump administration over the deployment of thousands of National Guard troops to L.A. proceeds. A number of police officers have been injured in the riots, according to LAPD.   Trump initially ordered the deployment of 2,000 National Guard troops to L.A. and on Monday announced he would be sending an additional 2,000 to the California city. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also announced Monday that he was sending 700 Marines from Camp Pendleton to L.A.  The primary role of the National Guard troops President Donald Trump pledged to deploy is the protection of federal government property and federal employees.    The National Guard troops “may perform those military protective activities that the Secretary of Defense determines are reasonably necessary to ensure the protection and safety of Federal personnel and property,” the White House explained as it announced the deployment of the troops.  New polling released Tuesday reveals that more than half of U.S. voters support Trump’s decision to deploy the National Guard to L.A.  RMG Research polling conducted among 1,000 registered voters on Monday found that 52% of respondents either “strongly” or “somewhat” approve of Trump’s decision to send National Guard troops to L.A. in the face of the fiery street protests.  While 42% of American voters don’t approve of the president’s action, 7% are “not sure” what they think about the deployment of the troops in the California city.    The post Federal Judge Denies Newsom’s Request to Restrict National Guard in LA appeared first on The Daily Signal.

Sexual battery, receiving known or stolen property, and petty theft,” she says, adding, “Grand theft larceny, possession of a prohibited weapon. Ecuadorian national convicted of conspiracy to possess 5 kg or more of cocaine with intent to distribute.”Despite their lengthy rap sheets, liberals are still burning the streets of their own city to protest their deportation.“The Democrats are basically just the party of criminals at this point,” Gonzales says. “You’ve got Mexican flags being waved, you've got cars burning; they’re setting the cars on fire while they’re waving Mexican flags.”“I keep wondering,” she continues, “if you love Mexico so much, why don’t you just go back, like why is it a chore to get you into law enforcement's possession and just get you to go back where you came from if you love your Mexican flag so much and you love your home country so much?”“You could just self-deport. Senior national correspondent Terry Moran is looking for a new job after ABC News says he violated their policies in a now-deleted rant against a Trump administration official. Moran wrote an extended screed against Stephen Miller, an adviser to President Donald Trump, and posted it Sunday on the X social media platform. He charged that Miller was full of hatred that was "spiritual nourishment" for the president. 'He’s a world-class hater. You can see this just by looking at him because you can see that his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment. He eats his hate.' "The thing about Stephen Miller is not that he is the brains behind Trumpism. Yes, he is one of the people who conceptualizes the impulses of the Trumpist movement and translates them into policy," wrote Moran. "But that’s not what’s interesting about Miller It’s not brains. It’s bile," he added. "Miller is a man who is richly endowed with the capacity for hatred. He’s a world-class hater. You can see this just by looking at him because you can see that his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment. He eats his hate."Moran concluded: "Trump is a world-class hater. But his hatred only a means to an end, and that end his [sic] his own glorification. That’s his spiritual nourishment." The post got immediate attention, and it elicited a response from the White House press secretary. "This is unhinged and unacceptable,” Karoline Leavitt said on social media. “We have reached out to @ABC to inquire about how they plan to hold Terry accountable.”On Tuesday, ABC News said that they did not extend Moran's contract and cited the post. "We are at the end of our agreement with Terry Moran and based on his recent post — which was a clear violation of ABC News policies — we have made the decision to not renew," read the network's statement.
