WashPost Hit Piece: Nikki Haley's High School In the '80s Was a 'Segregation Academy'?

Over the years‚ we’ve witnessed many Washington Post hit pieces against Republican presidential candidates‚ and the most shameless ones are about what happened in their youth. One of the first ones to come to mind is Mitt Romney being attacked in May of 2012 for apparently being a vicious prankster who gave some other kid an involuntary haircut on the quad. On Tuesday afternoon‚ Post reporter Michael Kranish – a man who used to buff the image of the lanky windsurfer John Kerry when he worked at The Boston Globe – put out a 3‚000-word article trying to make Nikki Haley look bad. This was the headline: Haley’s nearly all-White high school lacked lessons of racism‚ some say Haley left her hometown’s integrated public school system and attended a high school newly created from the merger of two “segregation academies.” An entire hit piece based on what “some say.” They mean what “liberals say.” This didn't appear in the Wednesday paper. At its robust length‚ it's probably meant to appear on Sunday. The thesis came in the second paragraph: But as Haley began her sophomore year of high school in the fall of 1986‚ she left Bamberg‚ S.C.‚ commuting 20 miles north to a radically different environment: Orangeburg Preparatory‚ a newly created private school formed from the merger of two institutions known locally as “segregation academies” because of their nearly universal White enrollment in a majority-Black city. Are they serious? Was South Carolina “segregationist” in 1986? If so‚ why was Nikki the Indian-American allowed?  Kranish hammered on the alleged lack of “lessons in racism‚” especially about the “Orangeburg Massacre” in 1968‚ when three young black men were shot and killed by cops at a civil rights protest. To be educated at Orangeburg Prep was to “swim in the current” of the way Whites thought and were taught‚ said Katrice Shuler‚ the valedictorian of Orangeburg’s 1989 class‚ who recalls sitting through classes with Haley. “It could be very easy for someone to go through the school system‚ the private school system‚ and feel that‚ oh‚ racism isn’t a problem because they haven’t been negatively affected by it‚” said Shuler‚ who is White. No one at the Post could confirm what Haley was actually taught about race and history in high school the 1980s. One classmate says they learned all about race and the local shooting in Advanced-Placement History‚ but he doesn't know if she took that class. But wild conjectures are allowed!  Haley’s school was somehow quietly….Jim Crow! So said Jack Shuler [no relation to Katrice‚ they say]‚ who went to Haley’s school and clearly hates it‚ and wrote a whole book about it: Some students say that the legacy of Orangeburg Prep as a nearly all-White school born from segregation academies was clear in the curriculum and the composition of the student body.... “In the 1980s and 1990s Orangeburg Prep was a quiet manifestation of Jim Crow‚” Shuler‚ who is White‚ wrote in the book‚ published during Haley’s governorship. The story also featured Cleveland Sellers‚ a black student protester who was shot by the police in 1968‚ and his son Bakari Sellers‚ who gets a chance to rip Haley:  “Nikki Haley is the most shrewd‚ talented politician in the country. She is not racist by any stretch‚” said former state Rep. Bakari Sellers‚ a Democrat who is Black and grew up in Bamberg County and whose father was among those wounded in the Orangeburg Massacre. “But she knows better. … Either you are wholly ignorant‚ which she’s not‚ or you’re intellectually dishonest for the purpose of political gain.” "Intellectually dishonest for political gain" could be the slogan on the masthead of The Washington Post.

Biology professor — reportedly fired for teaching that X and Y chromosomes determine a person's sex — gets his old job back

A former adjunct professor in Texas with decades of experience will soon return to the classroom after he was reportedly fired for teaching standard concepts regarding human sexuality and reproduction.Dr. Johnson Varkey spent 22 years of his life teaching biological science to students at St. Philip’s College‚ a community college in San Antonio‚ Texas. During that time‚ he more or less taught the same basic course and the same basic biological principles "without any complaints‚" he told CBN News. That all changed just over a year ago‚ when he was informed that an ethics complaint had been filed against him. He was then fired a few weeks later‚ even though he had not yet learned the nature of the accusations or been given an opportunity to defend himself against them.Left to speculate‚ Varkey recalled that in November 2022‚ four students had walked out of his classroom after he explained that biological sex was determined by X and Y chromosomes. He then wondered whether that discussion had prompted the complaints. The termination letter sent to him did not address that incident. However‚ it did allege that Varkey had engaged in "religious preaching‚ discriminatory comments about homosexuals and transgender individuals‚ anti-abortion rhetoric‚ and misogynistic banter" in the classroom. Varkey is the pastor of a church‚ and he has taught his students that human life begins at conception. Nevertheless‚ First Liberty Institute‚ which took up his case‚ claims that Varkey retains his right to hold private religious beliefs and his right to free speech in his capacity as a professor. "When I saw the termination letter‚ and I see that the university is accusing him of religious preaching … I think that what they don't understand is‚ even if he was‚ they still can't fire him for saying something that he believes to be true‚" said First Liberty counsel Keisha Russell. Russell also noted that imparting correct information regarding chromosomes and conception is "protected ... under the First Amendment."Earlier this year‚ First Liberty filed a discrimination case against St. Philip’s College and the Alamo Community College District on Varkey's behalf. The parties have since "reached a favorable settlement‚" a press release from the organization announced‚ and as a result‚ Varkey will be back in the classroom at St. Philip's by the fall."We are happy that the Alamo Community College District voluntarily reinstated Dr. Varkey‚" First Liberty associate counsel Kayla Toney said in a statement. "He is excited by this outcome‚ and we are glad that ACCD did the right thing. Dr. Varkey looks forward to continuing to educate students at ACCD."Several high-profile Texas Republicans are also celebrating the news. Rep. Chip Roy's press office called it a "huge win" and stated that "teachers should NEVER be punished for teaching the truth." — (@) Roy's fellow congressional Texans Rep. Michael Cloud‚ Rep. Dan Crenshaw‚ Rep. Lance Gooden‚ and Sen. Ted Cruz also supported Varkey.CBN reached out to the Alamo Community College District for comment. Like Blaze News? Crazy stories that prove just how insane things have become

While the Biden administration and the mainstream media continue to insist that the economy is booming‚ something clearly isn’t right with that assessment — and we all know it. But they can only keep up the lies for so long‚ because average Americans are starting to speak out. In one TikTok video‚ a man tells his online audience about a list he got back from his controller about the tax annual assessments and values‚ which happens every January to February. “I got mine just on a few of our properties‚ just a few of them‚ every single one of them are going up. Some of them are going up from 10% to 15% all the way up to 60%‚ 75%‚” the man tells the camera. “You have no clue what this means to this industry‚ you have no clue what this means to every average New Yorker.” “That’s crazy‚ that’s crazy‚” Glenn Beck comments‚ disturbed. Another TikTok video exposes the Row Hotel in New York City for making millions off of the migrant crisis. “The Row Hotel is one of the five hotels that has been transformed into a shelter‚” the narrator claims‚ before walking in to see the hotel for himself. An armed guard tells him the hotel is closed‚ despite hoards of people mulling about inside the 27-story building. When the narrator asks why it’s closed‚ the armed guard said “we just follow orders.” The narrator continues to expose the hotel‚ explaining‚ “They had signed a contract with an outside source saying that they will pay the rent in order for them to house the migrants‚ and the hotels love it because it is guaranteed money.” There are 1‚331 rooms in the hotel‚ and each room has gone for a rate of about $200 a night. “That is $260‚000 a day‚ $1.8 million a week‚ and $7.2 million a month‚” the narrator continues. “Who’s writing that check again?” Glenn asks. To hear more‚ watch the clip below. Want more from Glenn Beck?To enjoy more of Glenn’s masterful storytelling‚ thought-provoking analysis‚ and uncanny ability to make sense of the chaos‚ subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America‚ defend the Constitution‚ and live the American dream.

‘Thinly veiled propaganda campaign’: Federal government spent $8.5 million in taxpayer funds to produce podcasts: Report

The federal government spent $8.5 million in taxpayer funds to produce a number of podcasts‚ some of which promoted left-wing ideology‚ according to a new report from OpenTheBooks.com obtained by the New York Post on Wednesday. The watchdog group found that between February 2020 and September 2023‚ at least 58 podcasts were produced using $8‚535‚556 in taxpayer funds provided by the government through grant programs and other federal funding. During that same period‚ the government spent $323.7 million on overarching projects that included the podcasts‚ the report found‚ according to the Post. OpenTheBooks noted that both foreign and domestic entities received the funds. The National Endowment for the Humanities and the National Endowment for the Arts‚ both federal government agencies‚ issued most of the grants. According to the NEH’s website‚ the agency has awarded more than $5.6 billion through over 64‚000 grants.Last year‚ the two agencies had a combined budget of $207 million‚ an increase of $45 million compared to 2020.The Post reported that some of the podcast topics included history‚ art‚ literature‚ science‚ languages‚ and religion. According to the watchdog organization’s report‚ several of the shows were “left-wing ideological agitprop.”A Southern history podcast‚ which received $370‚000 from the NEH and NEA‚ featured an episode titled “Bedfellows Forever: How 19th-century male romantic friendships queer our understanding of historical masculinity.” The host‚ who is described as “grappling with how to define his own relationship with his best friend‚” explores accounts of “19th century men who clasped hands‚ hugged‚ shared tears‚ wrote deeply intimate letters to one another‚ and shared beds.”Another podcast received $227‚420 from the NEH and featured an episode in 2021 titled “The little pronoun that could.” It discussed a “new‚ gender-neutral pronoun which challenged Swedish grammar norms.”The “Queens Memory Podcast” was given $228‚546 from the NEH. A 2020 episode titled “Uprising” focused on the “continued self-education on racism” and featured “firsthand accounts” from individuals who “participated in the Black Lives Matter movement” and attended the protests that “swept across the country.”“Brains On!” a children’s science podcast‚ was awarded a whopping $556‚544 in taxpayer funds‚ some of which was likely reportedly used to create propaganda episodes about the efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccine. An episode titled “The heroes we need to defeat the coronavirus” used superhero characters to encourage children to follow the government’s guidance.“We meet the superheroes prepared to help us defeat the coronavirus: Sgt. Socially Distanced‚ the Masked Mentor‚ the Testmaster and the Vaxinator!” the podcast’s webpage stated.“Purple Royale‚” a podcast that “addresses issues and stories affecting trans and intersex lives in Zimbabwe‚” is exclusively funded by the State Department and received $5‚000 in taxpayer funds. “Regeneration Rising‚” a podcast with four reviews on Spotify‚ received $446‚353 from the Department of Agriculture. The show‚ which is targeted toward “beginning agrarians‚” featured an episode on “building [a] queer farmer community.”Additionally‚ the federal government spent $171‚000 to train journalists‚ artists‚ and others in Brazil‚ Bulgaria‚ and Yemen on how to produce podcasts. Another $89‚000 went to similar training in Rhode Island‚ Alaska‚ and Texas.“We pay plenty of taxes — from income to inheritance to capital gains‚” Adam Andrzejewski‚ founder of Open the Books‚ told the Post‚ “But who knew we were paying a podcast tax?”“Americans are accustomed to getting untold hours of free content through podcast platforms‚ and the federal government should stay out of the podcast content business‚” he continued. “It’s a thinly veiled propaganda campaign used to hype silly notions or radical ideologies paid for by the American people.”The NEH and NEA did not respond to a request for comment from the Post by the time of publication.Like Blaze News? Seattle's pro-Palestinian supporters appear to declare 'Homosexual Intifada' following pro-Hamas rally

Activists in Seattle have plastered city property with posters declaring a gay uprising following a march in support of Gaza's ruling government‚ Hamas.Posters with "Homosexual Intifada" on them have been widely circulated online‚ originating from Seattle‚ Washington. The posters also showed what appeared to be two men kissing while wearing keffiyehs‚ headcloths for men typically worn in the Middle East. The men's faces were covered. The signage was put up around downtown Seattle after a pro-Hamas/anti-Israel march and rally‚ according to 770 KTTH.One sign was posted over another that read "Save Sheikh Jarrah Free Palestine‚" referring to a town in Jerusalem. Seattle activists have used #ShutItDown4Palestine to promote their protests‚ which took place on both February 4 and February 17‚ 2024.The protests have been promoted by a group called the Party for Socialism and Liberation‚ who have consistently posted video coverage of the rallies. \ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf8NOW: A massive crowd in Seattle has taken the streets as part of the Global March for Palestine #ShutItDown4Palestine — (@) While it is not immediately clear whether the posters are a parody‚ groups such as "Queers for Palestine" have received prior news coverage despite unironically presenting what seems to be a contradictory viewpoint about the Middle Eastern conflict. The phrasing of a "homosexual intifada" is not new either; it has been promoted through messaging for many years. Posts dating back to 2015 with merchandise featuring the phrase are viewable on X.In a 2021 post‚ some of the merchandise was promoted through a progressive website called Threadless‚ which sells apparel‚ stickers‚ and home decor. I've joined the Homosexual intifada ;) — (@) The retailer has lengthy diversity statements promoting "racial equity‚" "LGBTQIA+ Love‚" gender equity‚ and body positivity. The website even openly states that it promotes "artists from underrepresented communities to boost their visibility‚ voices‚ and sales."Under the heading "no hate‚" identified by the letter H and number 8 with a line through it‚ the website states that it does not "tolerate any designs with hateful and/or offensive language‚ symbols‚ or phrases."Despite this claim‚ the website appears to allow merchandise using nearly any design. What I learned from my talk with Tucker Carlson

What I learned from my talk with Tucker Carlson

Tucker Carlson just did something that no other Western journalist in the world has either been willing or able to do in a very long time. He traveled to Moscow to speak to Russian President Vladimir Putin. And right on cue came the collective outrage: “Tucker Carlson is dangerous.” “He’s a Putin lover.” “Will they ban him from coming home?” “Is the European Union sanctioning him?” The news was kind of hilarious and still is. Take any war in history. Name the country and the leader‚ and any journalist worth his or her salt would be champing at the bit to interview the combatants on both sides. Why is journalism now a crime to journalists? But not this war. The moment Tucker Carlson dared speak with the world leader behind a war that the United States is actively funding on the other side‚ the knives come out. Don’t get me wrong. Putin is a bad guy. He’s a cold-blooded killer who throws people off of roofs. He’s a dictator. And I don’t like the other Russian leaders‚ either. They are corrupt and dirty. But I also don't think that the Ukrainian leadership is in this war for really anything but money and power. I’m not sure where exactly all those billions of American taxpayer dollars have gone‚ but when you’re spending more than you did for the Marshall Plan in inflation-adjusted dollars‚ something isn’t right. Why are we just pushing this through? I don't want to support Putin‚ and I don’t want to support the leadership of Ukraine. But I also don’t trust Joe Biden and his administration. They have been meddling with Russian and Ukrainian affairs forever. So I can’t say I have a horse in this race‚ and I don’t want to put my name behind any of the three because I don’t trust any of the three‚ even though I’m still proudly American. That’s why we need journalists to ask the hard questions‚ to press our leaders over what is really going on. That’s what journalism is‚ and Tucker Carlson is one of the very few with the courage to do it. And yet he is called a traitor. Why? Why is journalism now a crime to journalists? The media have forgotten something critical about why they exist. Maybe the governments have never known it. But it is that open and free dialogue is the foundation of a free society. It is also the foundation upon which peace can be built. Talk with everyone. You don’t need to trust them or even like them. But talk to them. Understand where they're coming from. It's all very basic. And if anyone currently is criticizing Tucker Carlson for interviewing a person who is the leader of the country we’re currently involved in a shadow war with‚ well‚ maybe they should just ask Tucker what he’s thinking. Why did you do it? Why did you go? What did you mean by the showing us the Moscow subway station? What have you learned? And what does it mean all going forward? That’s what we did. On Tuesday‚ Tucker Carlson joined me for a special edition of "The Glenn Beck Podcast” for his first interview back from Russia. This wasn’t a softball interview. We didn’t agree on everything‚ and I pushed back on points I did disagree with — as he did with me. But that is the point. We had open and free dialogue about the issues facing our world‚ and that is the foundation for free society. Tucker Carlson is certainly a champion of that. Cops protect Jewish professor as students hysterically underscore 'Zionists are not welcome' at San Jose State University

Dr. Jeffrey Blutinger‚ a professor of Jewish studies and history‚ was invited to San Jose State University to give a talk Monday about "finding a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict." The prospect of a Jewish academic speaking freely about bringing an end to the war initiated by Hamas terrorists was evidently too much for anti-Israeli students on campus. Calling for "intifada‚" the radicals successfully shut down the talk‚ prompting police to escort the professor to safety. KRON-TV reported that Blutinger‚ who teaches at California State University‚ Long Beach‚ intended to give a lecture titled‚ "Constructing a Just Solution: Where Israelis and Palestinians Go From Here." The talk was reportedly sponsored by a grant from Jewish Silicon Valley and hosted by the SJSU Jewish Studies Program. Had the lecture not ultimately been censored by the hateful mob‚ Blutinger planned to discuss both "the road to the present situation" as well as "possible paths forward." — (@) Demonstrators reportedly blocked entrances and stressed that "Zionists are not welcome" at the taxpayer-funded university. A memo from the American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise obtained by the College Fix indicated that the event was initially "moved to a different location‚ but within 20 minutes of the lecture starting‚ the protests grew too large [and Blutinger] had to stop speaking and leave via police escort for safety concerns." The Jewish Community Relations Council Bay Area indicated on X that the "intimidation tactics employed against a Jewish speaker are deeply troubling." Footage of the protest shows demonstrators wearing Palestinian scarfs clashing with police and screaming as the professor was whisked away. Other demonstrators‚ similarly hiding their faces‚ can be seen chanting "intifada" — an Arabic term frequently used to denote "getting rid of" Israel — while holding signs that said‚ "Ceasefire now‚" "Free Palestine‚" and "No justice‚ no peace." Earlier today at @SJSU‚ a planned protest against guest speaker Prof. Jeffrey Blutinger's talk on achieving peace in the Middle East through a two-state solution escalated into violence. Protestors obstructed entrances‚ called for "intifada‚" and clashed with law enforcement.\u2026 — (@) Blutinger suggested it was unfortunate the radicals deprived students of an opportunity to learn‚ reported the Spartan Daily‚ a campus paper. The professor further stressed that the mob's successful censorship efforts amounted both to bigotry and an affront to academic freedom. "They don't want Jews to speak‚" said Blutinger. "I think it's anti-Semitism." "[Blutinger] tried to justify peace moving forward‚" Suhila Bennett‚ a radical amongst the protesters‚ told the Spartan Daily. "We want liberation‚ not to shake hands with our occupiers (or) to live neighboring with our colonizers." The Palestine‚ Arab and Muslim Caucus of the California Faculty Association joined other extremists in denouncing Blutinger this week‚ calling him a "genocide-denier" in an Instagram post with the hash-tags "#fromtherivertothesea" and "freepalestine." SJSU officials indicated no one was injured and no arrests were made‚ reported KRON. Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors‚ sign up for our newsletters‚ and get stories like this direct to your inbox. What Ivan Drago can teach us about the border crisis

What Ivan Drago can teach us about the border crisis

Last week‚ Ivan Drago became an American citizen. At 66‚ Dolph Lundgren is still well preserved enough to bring to mind his most famous role‚ which he reprised in 2018’s "Creed II." But the image of the former communist menace holding a tiny American flag in front of a Homeland Security emblem would have had much more symbolic weight had he done it 40 years ago.Today the fearsome Drago mainly summons fond memories of a simpler time‚ when it was easy to tell who our enemies were. See on Instagram He's also a nostalgic reminder of Hollywood blockbuster moviemaking at its peak. Compared to the 1976 original‚ a downbeat labor of love that earns its sentimental‚ crowd-pleasing finale‚ "Rocky IV" is bloated and steroidal‚ pumped up and smoothed out with MTV artifice. And we loved it. Released in 1985‚ two years after Ronald Reagan’s “Evil Empire” speech and four years before the fall of the Berlin Wall‚ “Rocky IV” was the third-highest-grossing movie of the year and remains the highest-grossing installment of the franchise. It shamelessly stages the Cold War as a cartoonish face-off between scientifically engineered Soviet übermensch Drago and big-hearted everyman Rocky Balboa. Whether the movie’s success presages the inevitable triumph of American-style freedom or springs from the era’s dangerous jingoism depends on who you ask.Either extreme requires ignoring certain subtleties in director-star Sylvester Stallone’s storytelling. Yes‚ Rocky needs to avenge Apollo Creed’s death‚ but it’s Creed who needlessly picks the fight with Drago in the first place. It’s Creed who enters the arena in a gaudy‚ self-aggrandizing display of empty patriotism‚ and it’s Creed who refuses to stop the fight even after it’s apparent how badly outmatched he is. Nothing about America’s current immigration policy suggests citizenship has any value at all. “If he dies‚ he dies‚” Drago shrugs shortly before Creed does just that. One of cinema’s great villain lines‚ yes‚ but it’s also a simple statement of fact. It’s not that we weren’t warned. "Whatever he hits‚ he destroys‚" his handler tells us. As we say today‚ FAFO. It's unlikely "Rocky IV" would have worked so well without Lundgren. Credit Stallone for that. His original conception for the character was a "giant Neanderthal‚" but meeting the charismatic‚ six-foot‚ five-inch Fulbright Scholar turned model gave him the idea for a worthier adversary. Rocky's foe would be "the future … perfect‚ intelligent‚ flawless." Drago is a believable threat. His punches land. Advised by Stallone not to hold back‚ the inexperienced Lundgren ended up putting him in intensive care for more than a week. Lundgren’s manhandling of Carl Weathers so incensed the late actor that he stormed off the set‚ halting production for days. As Drago‚ Lundgren is not exactly likeable‚ but he commands enough respect to make us wonder‚ at least a little bit‚ if we aren’t stuck in the past. Maybe the Soviet state’s ruthless pursuit of excellence by any means necessary is the way forward‚ whether we like it or not. Of course‚ this doubt is fleeting. Rocky prevails‚ demonstrating that no amount of cutting-edge performance enhancers and high-tech training equipment can beat one American's grit and determination. In fact‚ Rocky so impresses the crowd with his can-do spirit that even Mikhail Gorbachev gives him a standing ovation. It’s kitschy‚ but it hurts a little too. Whatever we are now‚ we’re no longer confident‚ united‚ or optimistic. And the way Lundgren announced his recent news only highlights what we’ve lost.“Finally did it!” he wrote on Instagram. “I’ve been in this country on and off for 40 years now. First as a student then as a fighter and an actor. America has given me some wonderful opportunities and an amazing life. I’m proud to become a U.S. citizen and officially make this my home.” The gratitude‚ humility‚ and pride on display here are terribly old-fashioned‚ as is the assumption that citizenship offers anything so rarified as a “home.” In fact‚ nothing about America’s current immigration policy suggests citizenship has any value at all. And why should it‚ if the future belongs to globalization? The current free-for-all on the southern border is good for the economy‚ stupid. If you can’t accept this‚ you’re clinging to an antiquated vision of America out of racism or resentment. You deserve to lose. Then again‚ winning isn’t everything. Nobody watching “Rocky” for the first time is disappointed when our hero loses his fight with Apollo Creed. Beating Creed would have been a little too unrealistic‚ an easy ending that would have devalued Rocky’s inner battle. Rocky fought for something far more meaningful than a title or some money‚ which is what made people care. And that’s what’s kept people coming back for almost 50 years and nine movies. It’s hard to sustain a franchise for that long. The relative staying power of “Rocky” looks all the more impressive when you compare it to the steep decline of “Star Wars‚” which is only one year younger. America today more resembles "Star Wars": a singular‚ at times frustratingly idiosyncratic enterprise stripped for parts by efficiency experts. A vocal minority of disgruntled fans may offer some resistance‚ but they simply don’t understand progress. At any rate‚ they’ll eventually tire of complaining and move on. When they do‚ we may discover that they were the only ones keeping the whole thing together.

Here's how you re-educate schools and protect your kids

Between the LGBTQ+ and race-obsessed agendas‚ public academic environments are no longer safe for children. Parents have to take matters into their own hands in order to protect their kids because the school system clearly isn’t going to. “These government schools‚ they don’t care‚” Sara Gonzales says. “So‚ what is it going to take? Is it parents showing up en masse because‚ I mean‚ if it’s me and it’s my child who has to deal with a dude in a dress‚ I’m like my husband is showing up and dealing with that.” Host of “The Bottom Line” Jaco Booyens is in full agreement. “If you don’t love your kids‚ keep doing what you’re doing‚” Booyens says‚ noting that the reason we’re in this situation is because “the people are complicit.” “Why do I have to convince a parent to make time to defend their kids?” he asks. BlazeTV contributor Eric July doesn’t have kids yet‚ but when he does‚ he doesn’t plan to stand back. “I’m going to be way more aggressive on this issue‚ trust me‚ when I start to have children. But here’s the thing‚ if not for your children‚ then who the hell else would you do it for? Man‚ it’s sickening‚” he says. “We should have parents banging down these doors saying ‘Get this man the hell away from my kids‚’” Gonzales adds in agreement. To see more‚ watch the clip below. New Biden attack video goes wrong when people start to notice the glaring problems: '28 cuts in this 2 minute video'

President Joe Biden released a new video on Tuesday attacking Donald Trump and Republicans. Unfortunately for the president‚ the video generated scrutiny for all the wrong reasons. In the video‚ Biden attacks Trump for his remarks critical of NATO and claims Trump and Republicans "refuse" to hold Russian President Vladimir Putin "accountable" for the death of Alexei Navalny because they oppose sending more taxpayer money to Ukraine without first addressing domestic priorities‚ like the border crisis. Not sending more money to Ukraine‚ according to Biden‚ is akin to "bow[ing] down" to Putin. Of course‚ it's not clear how taxpayer funding of the Ukraine war is connected to Navalny's death. While the content of Biden's message generated significant pushback — because it's hardly true that Trump or Republicans are responsible for anything Putin chooses to do or that sending more money to Ukraine will deter Putin when the first $113 billion didn't — the video received attention for two separate‚ but glaring‚ reasons.First‚ the video‚ which includes an on-screen caption of Biden's words‚ contains several spelling errors. The word "strength" is misspelled. Navalny's first name is misspelled. And‚ at one point‚ the caption completely omits one of Biden's words. Second‚ the video contains numerous edits — more than two dozen‚ in fact. Moreover‚ Biden does not appear to speak for more than six seconds at a time without a cut."So when you've worked on the producing end as I did in my former life‚ some things are painfully easy to spot when the post-edit is complete‚" media expert Joe Concha explained. "In this case‚ I counted 28 cuts in this 2 minute video. 28. In something this short‚ *maybe* you do 5-6 cuts max." — (@) The significant number of edits suggests that‚ even with teleprompter help‚ Biden had difficultly reading his script‚ thus bringing more attention to his age and concerns about his mental acuity.Like Blaze News?
