NewsBusters Podcast: A Cornucopia of Copium As Trump Leads Biden

As polls show Donald Trump inching ahead of Joe Biden in the presidential race at the Thanksgiving mark‚ the network stars are frustrated. How could this be? Voters are forgetful‚ these polls can't possibly be reliable‚ and formerly reliable leftish networks like Univision are too nice to Trump. On The View‚ Ana Navarro was upset that Univision didn't send fervent Democrat Jorge Ramos to push Trump around. Univision used to be dramatically anti-Trump‚ but they've taken a turn. Navarro complained "they’ve been really great corporate citizens and community citizens. They have a tremendous co-anchor named Jorge Ramos‚ who's been there for decades‚ and they’ve got great credibility." But instead they turned to Enrique Acevedo‚ and she said he "sat there like he was interviewing a panda." As if Joe Biden would ever receive a tough interview? In his "Liberal Media Scream" of the week‚ our Brent Baker pointed out that ABC reporter Jonathan Karl went on the Colbert show on CBS and complained that voters have nostalgia for a better economy under Trump‚ with lower inflation and less war in the world. "I wrote this book because if people are going to go into this next election thinking about that‚ they also need to be thinking‚ not just about what Trump was‚ but what he is now and what he is proposing and planning to do‚ what a second Trump administration would look like. And I don’t think people have come to terms with that at all.” Baker said what Republican would trust this anti-Trump crusader as a reporter? Curtis Houck reported that Newsmax's James Rosen pressed White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about how Biden dismisses polls as inaccurate and irrelevant‚ but "when you are asked about various domestic policy initiatives‚ you will say‚ 'These poll very well. People support what the President wants to do.'" Which way is it?  Rich Noyes did a little number on how badly the networks did in marking Biden's 81st birthday on Monday. CBS gave it 18 seconds‚ and ABC did 10. NBC didn't touch it. That's "in the tank" numbers.  Bill D'Agostino looked into the coverage of special counsel Robert Hur‚ who was assigned to probe Joe Biden having classified documents in the garage of his Wilmington‚ Delaware house. There are reports no one will be prosecuted. Bill found the networks only gave this story four minutes and 52 seconds over the year. CBS was by far the least interested in the story; they provided one single update of 24 seconds on the October 10 CBS Evening News. in the  NBC wasn’t much better‚ with just two news briefs adding up to 64 seconds. ABC’s 204 seconds across three separate broadcasts‚ while by far the largest portion of network airtime‚ was still a paltry sum for an investigation into a sitting president which spanned nearly a year.  Enjoy the podcast below‚ as we count our blessings. 'Hamas is anathema for the peace': Fetterman says he supports Israel's right to destroy the terror group

Democratic Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania has indicated that he stands firmly behind Israel's right to destroy Hamas and that doing so is requisite for achieving peace."For peace &; a 2-state solution‚ Hamas must be destroyed &; I fully support Israel's right to do that. It has been proven that Hamas used the hospital as part of their terror network‚ this blood is on their hands. Hamas is anathema for the peace‚ Palestinians deserve better‚" Fetterman noted in a Monday tweet. "Hamas must release the hostages now. We need more humanitarian aid in Gaza to meet the substantial need. We need to minimize the suffering and the tragic loss of civilian life. We do not need any conditions on military aid to Israel‚" he also noted. — (@) Hamas perpetrated unspeakable atrocities in the Jewish state last month‚ slaughering‚ killing‚ and raping. Israel has declared that it aims to eliminate Hamas."I grieve for every innocent person and brave Israeli soldier killed since Hamas started this war. If not for the horrific attacks by Hamas terrorists‚ thousands of innocent Israelis and Palestinians would still be alive today‚" Fetterman said in a statement last month. "Now is not the time to talk about a ceasefire. We must support Israel in their efforts to eliminate the Hamas terrorists who slaughtered innocent men‚ women‚ and children. Hamas does not want peace‚ they want to destroy Israel. We can talk about a ceasefire after Hamas is neutralized." The senator has been displaying posters at his office to highlight the individuals taken captive by Hamas terrorists. "They will stay up until every single person is safely returned home‚" he has noted. — (@) Like Blaze News?
