CDC Vaccine Advisory Panel With RFK Jr. Appointees To Vote On Jab Containing Controversial Preservative

The revamped Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), which advises the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on the vaccine schedule, will soon vote on a vaccine containing a preservative Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. previously said possibly caused autism. The vaccine advisory panel will meet on June 25th and 26th, which includes a presentation on thimerosal (a mercury-containing organic compound) and a vote on a “thimerosal-containing vaccine.” According to POLITICO, RFK Jr. published a book before serving as health secretary alleging thimerosal likely caused autism and should be banned. “RFK Jr.’s new CDC vaccine panel is wasting no time. They’re set to vote on mercury in flu shots and the MMRV combo for toddlers next week. These were off-limits topics—now they’re getting a fresh look. Accountability is finally back in the process,” MAHA PAC wrote. RFK Jr.’s new CDC vaccine panel is wasting no time. Accountability is finally back in the process. pic.twitter.com/Bqi0DRFGBv — MAHA PAC (@MAHA_PAC) June 18, 2025 From POLITICO: The agenda for the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, released Wednesday, says the panel will hold two separate votes: one on “Influenza Vaccines” and one on influenza vaccines that contain thimerosal. In his 2014 book, Kennedy argued that “there is a virtually unanimous scientific consensus among the hundreds of research scientists who have published peer-reviewed articles in the field that Thimerosal is immensely toxic to brain tissue” and called for its removal from vaccines. Myriad peer-reviewed scientific studies dispute that there’s any link between thimerosal and health harms, and a federal vaccine court rejected arguments alleging a link between thimerosal-containing vaccines and autism in the late 2000s. The panel’s move to examine thimerosal suggests Kennedy is using it to pursue the ban he’s long sought, wrote MedPage Today Editor-in-Chief Jeremy Faust in a commentary. ”Elevating this debunked myth to national policy lends credence to misinformation, and sets the stage for other actions that may undermine vaccine confidence in the United States,” Faust added. Thimerosal continues to be used as a preservative in multi-dose vaccine vials to inhibit germ growth. But its use in FDA-licensed flu vaccines has declined over the last 25 years as manufacturers reformulated their products and shifted to single-use vials. Most of those contain little or no thimerosal, according to the CDC. The former presidential candidate recently removed all 17 previous members of the panel, appointing eight new members. HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Appoints Robert Malone, Others To Vaccine Advisory Panel "On Monday, I took a major step towards restoring public trust in vaccines by reconstituting the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices (ACIP)," RFK Jr. said. "I retired the 17 current members of the committee. I’m now repopulating ACIP with the eight new members who will attend ACIP’s scheduled June 25 meeting," he continued. "The slate includes highly credentialed scientists, leading public-health experts, and some of America’s most accomplished physicians. All of these individuals are committed to evidence-based medicine, gold-standard science, and common sense. They have each committed to demanding definitive safety and efficacy data before making any new vaccine recommendations. The committee will review safety and efficacy data for the current schedule as well," he added. Dr. Robert Malone was among his selections to join the advisory panel. RFK Jr. wrote: Robert W. Malone, MD, is a physician-scientist and biochemist known for his early contributions to mRNA vaccine technology. He conducted foundational research in the late 1980s on lipid-mediated mRNA delivery, which laid the groundwork for later developments in mRNA-based therapeutics. Dr. Malone has held academic positions at institutions including the University of California, Davis, and the University of Maryland, and has served in advisory roles for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Defense. His expertise spans molecular biology, immunology, and vaccine development. All vaccines routinely recommended for children 6 years of age and younger in the U.S. are available in formulations that do not contain thimerosal, according to the Food and Drug Administration. The FDA and other health bodies have emphasized that many well-conducted scientific studies have found no link between thimerosal and autism, despite unfounded concerns decades ago about a potential connection. “The scientific evidence collected over the past 20+ years does not show any evidence of harm, including serious neurodevelopmental disorders, from use of thimerosal in vaccines,” the FDA said on its website. The new ACIP members will play a significant role in shaping immunization policy in the U.S., as the panel reviews vaccine data and makes recommendations that determine who is eligible for shots and whether insurers should cover them, among other efforts. The committee is also scheduled to review data and vote on other vaccines, including shots for Covid and RSV, during the two-day meeting. Read the full agenda HERE.

WATCH: State House Hosts Bizarre Drag Queen Performance

Drag queens took over the Oregon House of Representatives floor on Wednesday in a strange spectacle. “This was the Oregon House floor this morning used to celebrate Black Drag Queens. I’m not sure the Founding Fathers envisioned taxpayer-funded legislative chambers being turned into platforms for political theater,” state Rep. Dwayne Yunker, a Republican, said. “The House floor is meant for serious debate, lawmaking, and serving all Oregonians not partisan spectacles designed to push cultural agendas. If this feels more like a performance than governance, you’re not alone,” he continued. WATCH: This was the Oregon House floor this morning used to celebrate Black Drag Queens. Dwayne Yunker HD3 (@RepYunker) June 18, 2025 From the New York Post: The bizarre fiasco erupted on the chamber floor in honor of a Democratic resolution recognizing “the artistry of black drag performers” in the Beaver State, Rep. Travis E. Nelson told The Post. The Democrat is the first black LGBTQIA+ House member. Video of the flamboyant display captured the two queens — one sporting a bright yellow shimmery jumpsuit, with the other rocking a rainbow-hued one-piece with a blue wig — lip-synching to Aretha Franklin’s “A Deeper Love” while dancing wildly and jumping up and down around the chamber for nearly five minutes. This is outrageous and a complete waste of taxpayer money,” Yunker said Tuesday evening. “If you want to see who supports this, click the link below,” he added. Dwayne Yunker HD3 (@RepYunker) June 18, 2025 A closer look: Per MRCTV: Meanwhile, Oregon won’t fix their exploding homeless population or keep the streets overdose-free, but the left will roll out the red carpet for drag performers in their legislative chamber. If this is what the future of state politics looks like, democracy isn’t just dying; it’s being smothered in sequins, fake lashes, and bad choreography. At this point, the only thing being dragged is Oregon’s reputation.
