In northwestern Alaska‚ archaeologists have discovered a huge number of ancient dinosaur tracks dating back 100 million years. The research results were published in Geosciences. The discovery in the Coxa Basin of Alaska’s Nanushuk Formation reveals more about the migration of ancient animals and the climate of the mid-Cretaceous period. In their search for ancient traces‚ archaeologists have discovered remnants of forests and even fossilized animal excrement. Study leader Anthony Fiorillo said‚ “This site was just crazy rich in dinosaur tracks.” Surprisingly‚ the team of researchers was even able to identify the species of dinosaurs that left their tracks. The vast majority (59%) were bipedal herbivores‚ with the rest following: quadrupedal herbivores (17%)‚ birds (15%) and non-avian‚ mostly carnivorous‚ bipedal dinosaurs (9%). These findings provide an opportunity to answer questions regarding animal migrations that occurred 100 million years ago. Importantly‚ these traces also allow for a more detailed analysis of the mid-Cretaceous climate‚ which could be extremely valuable as we face climate challenges today. Samples of the wood studied also indicate a more humid climate at that time‚ comparable to modern Miami. This fact allows us to understand more about the changes occurring in nature and will help expand our horizons in the field of climatology and ecology. On Monday morning's Fox &; Friends First‚ co-host Todd Piro recalled the case of Edward Johnson‚ who has a history of assaulting women who work in hospitals: "An illegal immigrant back on the streets of New York City after spending less than a year in jail for the latest of a series of arrests where he's accused of attacking female hospital workers dating all the way back to 2019. And victims are speaking out about the dangers they face every day working in the ER and having to treat people that are violent repeat offenders." After showing viewers a photograph of a nurse‚ Chelsea Mora‚ who was attacked in a Bronx hospital in January‚ he brought her aboard to discuss her experience. Mora recalled that she was examining the patient when "he struck my face with his fists‚ leaving me with a corneal hematoma and PTSD after the incident." Regarding the state's current weak crime policies‚ she soon complained: It seems to be a severe problem in New York City now. I think these soft on crime laws that are being implemented aren't helping us -- like citizens of New York -- aren't helping health care staff in dealing with these types of criminals. ATLANTA—Per Judge Scott McAfee’s order‚ lead prosecutor Nathan Wade has been forced to withdraw from his duties at Fani Willis’s district attorney office. Wade‚ who had been working closely with District Attorney Willis on a high-profile case‚ made the announcement to reporters outside her office on Friday. “I’m not going to sugarcoat it – it’s a real blow. I went in head first‚ and did my duties‚ sometimes well into the night. It’s sad that I’ll no longer be servicing her‚” he said‚ visibly shaken.  The sudden departure has left many wondering what led to this unexpected turn of events. However‚ Wade was quick to dispel any rumors of misconduct‚ insisting that his departure was due to personal reasons. “Ms. Willis is a wonderful person‚ she exudes authority.
