Pornography giant Pornhub will be cutting off access to users in Montana ahead of the implementation of a state law that requires age verification for access to sites with explicit content.  The law‚ which takes effect on January 1‚ is intended to keep children from being exposed to pornography by mandating sites with explicit sites verify the age of their visitors. Other states‚ like Utah and Virginia‚ have passed similar legislation‚ leading Pornhub to block access in those states over the law.  “While safety and compliance are at the forefront of our mission‚ giving your ID card every time you want to visit an adult platform is not the most effective solution for protecting our users‚ and in fact‚ will put children and your privacy at risk‚” Pornhub said in a statement‚ according to Scripps News Helena.  The law‚ SB 544‚ says a commercial entity that “knowingly and intentionally publishes or distributes material harmful to minors on the internet from a website that contains a substantial portion of the material must be held liable if the entity fails to perform reasonable age verification methods to verify the age of individuals attempting to access the material.” The text notes that “pornography is creating a public health crisis and having a corroding influence on minors” and that “pornography may also impact brain development and functioning‚ contribute to emotional and medical illnesses‚ shape deviant sexual arousal‚ and lead to difficulty in forming or maintaining positive‚ intimate relationships‚ as well as promoting problematic or harmful sexual behaviors and addiction.” It passed 84-13 in the state House and 47-3 in the state Senate before being signed by Governor Greg Gianforte (R-MT) in May.  CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILY WIRE APP Other state lawmakers‚ like Republicans in Tennessee‚ are looking to bring forth similar legislation in the coming year. Earlier this month‚ Rep. Patsy Hazlewood introduced the “Protect Tennessee Minors Act‚” which would require online pornography distributors to put in place age verification measures to ensure that children are unable to access the explicit content. Pornhub has been the target of a series of undercover investigations by Sound Investigations‚ which has recorded leadership at the company discussing strategies and the impacts of porn. In one recently released undercover video‚ a manager for the parent company of Pornhub admitted that pornography is unhealthy‚ addictive‚ and destructive. “I definitely think porn addiction is definitely a thing‚ that’s for sure‚” Mike Farley‚ a Senior Product Manager at Aylo said in the footage. “I don’t think it’s a positive thing in general.”

A New Jersey man has been accused of attempting to help al-Shabaab‚ a radical Islamic terrorist group based in Somalia‚ after allegedly being inspired by Hamas’ terrorist attack on Israel.  Karrem Nasr‚ a 23-year-old American citizen‚ was arrested in Nairobi‚ Kenya on December 14 and was charged with attempting to aid a foreign terrorist organization. Nasr made his first appearance in court on Friday‚ according to the Justice Department. If convicted‚ Nasr could face up to 20 years in prison.  “As alleged‚ Karrem Nasr‚ motivated by the heinous terrorist attack perpetrated by Hamas on October 7‚ devoted himself to waging violent jihad against America and its allies. Nasr‚ a citizen of this country‚ traveled from Egypt to Kenya bent on joining and training with al Shabaab so that he could execute his jihadist mission of death and destruction‚” U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York Damian Williams said in a statement. “Nasr was prepared to kill and be killed to support the jihadist cause‚ and in his own words‚ he described America as ‘evil’ and the ‘head of the snake.’” According to the criminal complaint‚ Nasr is a supported of al-Shabaab and moved to Egypt in July 2023. Al-Shabaab has been behind deadly attacks on Americans and frequently targets Christians in Africa.  In messages with a confidential FBI source‚ Nasr allegedly said that “evil America” was the number one enemy and that “Jihad” was “coming soon to a US location near you.” The complaint says that Nasr was planning on joining al-Shabaab in Somalia for training and later terror attacks‚ but he was detained in Kenya before he could join up with the group.  CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILY WIRE APP  “Instead of embracing all that the United States had to offer him‚ Mr. Nasr allegedly moved abroad and committed himself to supporting a foreign terrorist organization. Caban‚ who was at the announcement of the complaint.  The U.S. and Europe have faced increasing terrorist threats following Hamas’ October 7 attack that left 1‚200 Israelis dead. A maintenance man at the old Hotel Dixie in Midtown Manhattan mentioned his sighting of a Pteranodon-like cryptid‚ along with other witnesses‚ in Long Beach‚ New York in the late 1970s.I received the following account:"Hello‚ Mr. Strickler. I'm a big fan! I'm writing to you about something I communicated to Linda Moulton Howe (and unfortunately‚ I didn't get back in touch with her in time). My Mom was a switchboard operator at what used to be the Hotel Dixie‚ later changed to the Hotel Carter‚ located in Midtown Manhattan.I occasionally accompanied her on the weekends when she went to work‚ and as she worked‚ I entertained myself with reading books. Dinosaurs being a favorite subject‚ was often the choice of reading. I had a fascinating conversation with a maintenance man‚ whose name was either Vito or Vincent (I can't remember‚ exactly).Anyway‚ this maintenance worker said he was driving down one of the highways in Long Beach‚ NY‚ and while driving along the highway‚ with the beach and water to his right‚ he looked up skyward‚ and first‚ what he mistook for a large kite‚ turned out to be a large‚ prehistoric-looking flying reptile or Pteranodon!  Here's the shocker‚ though: OTHER People‚ stopped‚ and got out of their cars‚ to see this creature also!  It (the Pteranodon)‚ seemed curious about everyone who stopped and was observing it‚ hovering with the wind current as it did so.This same maintenance worker said he regretted not having a camera‚ as other car drivers did‚ who were taking pictures. After witnessing this cryptid‚ the Pteranodon lost interest in the observers and glided away with the wind current‚ lazily flapping its wings about 2 or 3 times‚  till out of sight. What's AMAZING about this whole incident‚ is that Linda Moulton Howe got another SIGHTING of this same creature about a few months to a year afterward! I also mentioned this alleged sighting to JONATHAN WHITCOMB‚ and let him know I personally didn't see this‚ but‚ my Mother's co-worker did. This happened during the late 1970s."
