NBC News Publishes a Propaganda Article About “Angry” Voters at GOP Town Halls

NBC News is a complete fraud. They covered GOP town halls with screaming bussed-in, probably paid activists as if it was a grass roots groundswell. They want people to believe most people are infuriated with the GOP. We reported about the rent-a-crowd business which can also be turned into the rent-a-mob if the clients ask […] The post NBC News Publishes a Propaganda Article About “Angry” Voters at GOP Town Halls appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

Republican-Led Oversight Committee Drops Massive Trove Of Over 33,000 Epstein Docs

The Republican-led House Oversight Committee released tens of thousands of documents related to the late, disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein on Tuesday. The Department of Justice provided the records under subpoena from committee chairman James Comer of Kentucky. The document dump consisted of 33,295 pages. Speaking to reporters following the release, Comer said that the committee continues to expand its investigation into notable figures, such as former Labor Secretary Alex Acosta, who, as a prosecutor, negotiated a controversial plea deal with Epstein in 2008. The committee is working on releasing other records, as well. “We’re gonna continue to bring in more people. We learned of some additional names today,” said Comer. “We’re gonna do everything we can to give the American public the transparency they seek, as well as provide accountability in memory of the victims who have already passed away, as well as those that were in the room, and many others who haven’t come forward.” Comer thanked the White House for working with House lawmakers to make the documents available for release. “The White House is working with us. I wanna publicly thank the White House for turning over so many documents thus far,” said Comer. The committee has subpoenaed a number of high-profile figures already, including former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Comer added that the committee plans to subpoena Epstein’s madam Ghislaine Maxwell, as well. The Department of Justice interviewed Maxwell and released the tapes of that interview last month. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche conducted the interview, and Maxwell’s testimony backs up some of what the Justice Department has said about Epstein’s case, such as the lack of an Epstein “client list.” Maxwell also told Blanche that she never saw any man, including President Donald Trump nor Clinton, behave inappropriately around Epstein. “I never, ever saw any man doing something inappropriate with a woman of any age. I never saw inappropriate habits,” Maxwell told Blanche. “Now somebody’s inappropriate and mine may be different.” “Trump was always very cordial and very kind to me,” she added. “And I just want to say that I find — I — I admire his extraordinary achievement in becoming the president now. And I like him, and I’ve always liked him. So that is the sum and substance of my entire relationship with him.”

Chipotle’s “Most-Searched Menu Item On Google” Is Back!

Good news, Chipotle fans, the restaurant’s “most-searched” item—Carne Asada—is returning to the menu in both the U.S. and Canada! The marinated steak joined the menu as a protein option in 2019 and instantly became a hit. Not only did it quickly become Chipotle’s “most-searched menu item on Google,” it also became the “second-most searched limited-time offering among all national restaurant brands.” Despite its popularity, it never sticks around for long. This will be the fourth time it’s returned. Over Labor Day weekend, the restaurant teased that something was making a comeback. Fans assumed Chipotle was talking about Carne Asada, and they couldn’t contain their excitement. hitting a grill near u 9/4 pic.twitter.com/ZT08FTA9Qn— Chipotle (@ChipotleTweets) August 29, 2025 Chipotle’s Carne Asada Returns On September 4th On September 2nd, Chipotle’s president and chief brand officer, Chris Brandt, confirmed everyone’s suspicions and shared that the beloved steak was, in fact, returning. He also detailed what makes it so special. “Our Carne Asada is an elevated, chef-driven recipe that attracts new guests, reignites our Chipotle Rewards members, and excites our restaurant teams,”  he said in a statement. “The protein’s rich flavor profile is the perfect pairing for any gameday, whether you’re watching marquee matchups from home or tailgating at the stadium.” Unfortunately, Carne Asada will remain a limited-time offering for now. So make sure to get your fill when it officially hits locations on September 4th. This story’s featured image is by Kevin Carter/Getty Images. NewsBusters Podcast: Did CBS News Think We Wouldn’t Notice Their New Hatchet Job?

NewsBusters Associate Editor Nick Fondacaro and I were stunned by Sunday’s Face the Nation in which the show made a baffling decision to deceptively remove a key portion of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s answer about the alleged criminal record of illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia. As our Bill D’Agostino wrote, this was part of a pattern of behavior from CBS News, stretching far beyond last year’s 60 Minutes interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris that led to a lawsuit from now-President Trump and a settlement of at least $16 million. We also dove into CBS’s attempt to save face before diving into some delicious hypocrisy from The Atlantic’s Ashley Parker, who wrote a story over the Labor Day weekend mocking the increased law enforcement presence and National Guardsmen in Washington D.C. to combat crime. Back in June, Parker herself lamented being a victim of multiple thefts in the city. The discussion then turned to a series of setbacks for Navy veteran Zachary Young in defamation cases against the Associated Press and Puck. Fondacaro predicted the AP case could be appealed and broke down why the judge in the case equated these suits to movie sequels. Finally, we ripped the left for their fawning coverage of communist China’s military parade, which they’ve determined is another way to stick it to President Trump. Mother 'intentionally' left her toddler in hot car, police say. Now she's charged with murder.

Police in Frisco, Texas, said they responded on Aug. 16 to a hospital and learned that earlier that day a 27-year-old mother arrived at her place of employment around 2 p.m.Detectives believe the mother at that time "intentionally left her 15-month-old child for over two hours in a vehicle she knew did not have working air conditioning with an outside temperature of at least 95 degrees," police said.Police said Esquivel's bond was set at $250,000.Based on information gathered during the investigation, police said Frisco detectives believe probable cause existed that Vanessa Esquivel committed murder since "intentionally leaving the child in the car caused injury/endangered the child, which is a felony."Police added that the suspect's actions resulted in the child's death and met the statutory requirements of murder.Police said detectives obtained a warrant for her arrest, and Dallas police on Aug. 20 took Esquivel into custody and transferred her that same day to Frisco officers' custody.RELATED: 3-year-old boy dies after woman working for Alabama state agency left him in car that may have reached 140 degrees: Attorney Police said Esquivel later was transferred to the Collin County Jail; its records on Tuesday indicate Esquivel was charged with murder.Police said Esquivel's bond was set at $250,000, adding that the offense in this case is a first-degree felony that carries a punishment of five years to life in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.RELATED: Dad visits 'the Adult Shoppe' while his kids sit in 125-degree car for almost an hour, cops say Vanessa Esquivel. Image source: Frisco (Texas) PoliceEsquivel's attorney listed in jail records — Katheryn H. Haywood — on Tuesday told Blaze News that she was appointed Saturday but that Esquivel's family hired another attorney. Blaze News on Tuesday afternoon left a message with the office of the new attorney, Kenneth Onyenah of Dallas. The office confirmed to Blaze News that Onyenah is indeed Esquivel's new attorney but added that he wasn't available for comment at the time about the case.Police said those with information about the case are asked to contact the Frisco Police Department's non-emergency number — 972-292-6010 — or submit a tip using Tip411 (text FRISCOPD and the tip to 847411).Like Blaze News? Epstein victims have identified other 'persons of interest,' House Oversight Committee chair says

The Republican chairman of the House Oversight Committee said that some "persons of interest" in the Jeffrey Epstein case had been named by victims during a meeting Monday. The members met with the six victims for over two hours in a closed-door meeting, according to Republican Rep. James Comer of Kentucky. Afterward, he told reporters that they had "learned of some additional names today."'There was outrage. It was both — I would describe it as heartbreaking and infuriating.'A representative for the committee said the people identified "possess information" about Epstein or those who allegedly participated in his sex trafficking ring."Some of the ladies have shared these stories publicly before, but at least two of the women had never told their stories before, one for the very first time in the room, and so there were tears in the room," said Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson of Louisiana."There was outrage. It was both — I would describe it as heartbreaking and infuriating," he added. "That justice has been delayed so long."Also on Monday, the committee released a trove of 33,295 pages from the Epstein files, though it was unclear what percentage of the release was new material."DOJ has indicated it will continue producing records while ensuring the redaction of victim identities & child abuse material," Comer said on social media.RELATED: Trump denies report of letter and drawing sent to Jeffrey Epstein on his 50th birthday, threatens to sue Wall Street Journal "It was as bipartisan as anything I've seen in the nine years I've been here," Comer added about the meeting with victims."Some of the women in the room began to be groomed by Epstein and his accomplices, Ghislaine Maxwell and the others, 30 years ago," Johnson added."Some of them began civil litigation against Epstein and the Epstein evils and everything associated with it 20 years ago," he continued. "This has gone on for a long, long time, and they, they shared their stories."President Donald Trump has lashed out at his supporters who continue to demand more information about the Epstein case and accused them of falling for a Democratic scheme."Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this 'bulls**t,' hook, line, and sinker," Trump said in July. "They haven't learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years."Like Blaze News?
