The Left doesn't understand Trump's foreign policy

President Trump truly is the worst dictator ever… It turns out the Panicans were wrong once again and President Trump just successfully negotiated PEACE! Let’s hope it can last, but this is pretty incredible. PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH works again! Here was his announcement of the Ceasefire on TruthSocial: FULL TEXT HERE if that’s hard to read for any reason: CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! On the assumption that everything works as it should, which it will, I would like to congratulate both Countries, Israel and Iran, on having the Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end, what should be called, “THE 12 DAY WAR.” This is a War that could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn’t, and never will! In this case though, it’s fantastic news—when nobody has been able to do it before. Not Obama, through a JCPOA that was total trash. I am announcing the ceasefire—yeah, okay—so Donald Trump actually announcing the ceasefire here. So he writes on Truth Social: “Congratulations to everyone. It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a complete and total ceasefire in approximately 6 hours from now.” That’s probably after Israel is done striking and bombing Iran some more, given that Iran is issuing evacuation notices for parts of Tel Aviv. Israel is issuing evacuation notices for parts of Tehran. I believe what’s happening is each side is completing its final volleys, and now it’s a matter of: okay, is this ceasefire actually going to hold and what does this mean for markets going forward? Well first of all, this is the best case scenario that you could have after these strikes. In fact, in this morning’s Alpha Report and in our course member livestream, we once again talked about the best case scenarios with this sort of Iranian hostility and catalyst that we could see. And one of the catalysts would be a complete ceasefire before strikes—that didn’t happen. So we get strikes. Okay, what’s the best next catalyst after strikes? The best next case after the United States bombs Iran is that Iran fires off some kind of pre-announced retaliatory strike, just like they did after we killed Soleimani and after he was executed by our drone strike. And we got our little volley of rockets. Nothing ended up happening, and we ended up essentially forgetting about Iran for years almost after that. The same thing was anticipated to happen here, and we really don’t want to be involved in a prolonged political theater inside of Iran. Because frankly, it’s a disaster and it takes away not only our political might from other leadership that we could drive somewhere else… …but also from the American economy, from the international community, from peace, from focusing on ending the war between Russia and Ukraine and preventing hostilities between China and Taiwan. After all, it was Dmitri Medvedev that just today suggested, “Oh it’s not going to be Russia that gives Iran a nuke, but maybe an Asian country will.” You know, he came out with this clarity that maybe an Asian country would end up giving Iran a nuclear weapon to potentially let fall into the hands of the Houthis or others. This is really bad. You don’t just say things like that. Now would it be North Korea? I mean, if it was, North Korea would get obliterated. They have nuclear weapons, but they’re wise enough not to use them or let them fall into the hands of rebel groups or terrorist groups. Because North Korea knows they would get absolutely obliterated. And Iran is hopefully wise enough to realize that they don’t want to use a bomb. Because if they do, they realize they’ll get obliterated. So in other words, whoever actually uses a bomb just realizes they’re going to get obliterated. And so this is where that best case scenario comes in—that we would end up after strikes in some kind of pretend retaliatory strike, announcing the victory of Iran or whatever. After our Patriot missile bays just destroy everything, we would end up with some form of a ceasefire. It just happened to come a lot faster than expected. Honestly, I thought we would probably have a few weeks of back and forth, tit for tat, bull crap before we would end up actually getting a ceasefire. But now Donald Trump on Truth Social tells us that again, 6 hours from now—when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their progress/final missions for 12 hours, at which point the war will be considered ended officially— Iran will start the ceasefire and upon the 12th hour, Israel will start the ceasefire. And upon the 24th hour, the official end of the 12th day of war will be saluted to the world. Okay, that’s really complicated. Basically, bottom line: they figured their crap out and it looks like they got themselves a ceasefire, which is absolutely fantastic for the world. It’s great for Israel—it means the Israeli economy can keep going and back to functioning the way it should be functioning. It means the Iranian people can get back to surviving, maybe get back to their homes in Tehran. Think about the potentially tens of thousands of people who fled Tehran because they were freaking out over the potential that the United States would end up striking Tehran… …which is entirely possible, especially now JD Vance going on Fox News—oh hold on one second here, what did I do? Kevin, hold on—oh, oh I know what I’m doing, hold on one sec. There we go. I think that’s much better. Uh, oh there we go—oh, that’s so much better, okay perfect. Sorry, I just had to kick myself out of the phone because I’m tired of using the phone. Hopefully you can hear me right here, let me know that you can hear me right here. Obviously I’m switching live—I had to wait for everything to boot up, it takes forever to boot everything up. But anyway, the point of this is huge. Because really what you’re doing is you’re telling the entire community: get back to your home. All the people who evacuated can finally get back home, and so this war ends. And so of course what’s happening in markets right now? Well, you actually have oil—in futures—look at this. You’re back at $65. Thank you—you can hear me, perfect. Thanks. Okay that transition was decently seamless, I have to say. That wasn’t bad. Okay, I ran home, started streaming on the iPhone because I wanted to break the news to you, and once all this crap booted up we were able to switch. That’s not bad. But anyway, look at this—I mean oil is now down on the international blend 8%. That’s on the day, right? So you’re down now from this sort of precipice over the last—what did we get here—we got up to 78 bucks. We’re down from 78, 79 down to 70.6 on the international blend. And if you look at the US blend, we are down in just the last intraday period here—we’re down $10. We’re down from 75 bucks to $65. That’s more than—I mean what is that? 65 divided by 75? This is down about 13.5% on US blend. This is absolutely incredible, and this is actually the opposite of the concern that you would have for the economy. Remember that the economy suffers when oil prices skyrocket. When oil prices skyrocket, consumers have less available capital to spend. There’s too much month at the end of the money, right? There’s not enough money at the end. So because you’re spending more on fuel or natural gas or airfares or whatever. And so what do we sit up in now? Well, we actually have a situation where we have more potential money available because gas prices are falling. And equities and crypto are rallying on this. This is fantastic news. On top of this, JD Vance was just interviewed on Fox—although they kind of stole his thunder a little bit with the announcement. So Donald Trump says again, if you’re just now joining, that there has been a fully agreed to—by both Israel and Iran—that there will be a complete and total ceasefire. He gave multiple different little timeframes where basically the Israelis can still strike, and Iran can still strike for the next few hours, and then everybody’s going to chill the F out. Hopefully it holds. We’ll talk about that in just a moment. Given that again, there are still evacuation orders going on inside of Tel Aviv and Tehran. Vice President Vance says that Iran is now incapable of building a nuclear weapon with the equipment they have, because—well—we destroyed it. Vance also says that if Iran wants to build a nuclear weapon in the future, it will have to deal with the American military. So potentially, all of this is Donald Trump’s catalyst to re-establish that JCPOA number two that he always sort of promised we would get—but we never got. Just remember—okay—Obama signed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action in 2015, which limited how much enriching Iran could do in exchange for allowing monitors in to monitor how much Iran was enriching… …and also being able to export oil while reducing sanctions. People on the right said that just basically gave Iran a ton of money to go build a bomb. People on the left said, “Well, they’re going to do it anyway. Let’s at least be able to monitor what they’re doing.” Donald Trump ripped up that plan, and the United States moved away from being, you know, monitoring the commitments of the JCPOA. And of course, Iran moved away from their commitments as well. Now you have people in Congress who are saying, “Oh well, Iran’s not going to be able to enrich. They’re just going to have to be able to go buy the 3 or 4% U235 that they need to run a nuclear program for peaceful energy purposes from somebody else.” But mind you, you can’t run a peaceful nuclear energy program without producing Plutonium 239, which is also weapons-grade. So hopefully this ceasefire—best case scenario—is that this ceasefire leads to some form of JCPOA 2.0. I doubt they’ll call it that, because Donald Trump’s not going to like anything that’s like “2.0 of Obama.” Instead, it’s probably going to be something like the JC Trump MAGA plan—I don’t know—whatever. Joint Comprehensive Trump Is Amazing Plan or whatever. They’ll come up with some kind of crazy MAGA acronym for it, okay? But there’ll be some kind of new negotiated deal where hopefully Iran accepts zero enrichment. That’s the key. You do not want Iran doing any enrichment. My opinion—and this is totally my opinion—I always like to separate when we talk facts from opinion… …but my opinion is Iran went in to survey the damage that was conducted here at Foraux, and I think they realized—okay, we’re done. Like I think they realized the bombs actually hit their marks, and it’s over. Otherwise I don’t think they would roll this easily. Now Iran publicly has stated that, “Oh, only limited damage.” And so has Dmitri Medvedev. But come on—I mean they’re all allies, right? The Russians, the Chinese, the North Koreans, and the Iranians—they’re part of an axis. And I have a feeling you probably have China and Russia saying, “Look, dude—guys—you’re not going to win. Israel and the United States have you by the balls. Give up, because this is ridiculous.” And that’s basically exactly what happened here. Now again, we have to make sure that this sticks. There was also a really good footage—let me see here—Patriot missile interceptions, Qatar. There was some really good footage that I saw. It looked amazing. And it just sort of, in my opinion, kind of makes you proud of American technology—just the defensive technology that we have. So good. These Patriot missile bays—can’t seem to get them functionally loading right now, but that’s okay. I mean, this one doesn’t quite do it justice—the Patriots coming off—but it’s amazing. The Patriot missile interceptors, how fast and powerful these are—so amazing work by the American military. And it really goes to show you—here’s the Patriots coming up—it shows you that we could actually have this sort of mobile launch bay of an Iron Dome in America. But you know, right now in fairness, the more conflicted we are—or involved we are—with these other actors, kind of the less resources we have available for having an Iron Dome ourselves, right? So getting out of conflicts like this—really important. So here it is—here’s the footage—there we go. So you could kind of see—let’s get that—there it is. I think this is awesome. Like, I look at this and I’m like, “This is America,” right? Like, this is cool. This is so much cooler than like a fireworks show. This is like the defense of freedom right here. And like, I was on my run and I couldn’t help but keep thinking about—somebody on Fox this morning was wearing one of those American flag lapel pins with the B2 bomber. And I’m like, “Oh man, I want those so badly, but I don’t want to come across as like a warmongerer.” So I kind of want to lean towards the Wall Street Journal’s POV on this—the editorial board—where they’re like, “Well it’s not really getting into war, it’s more like our B2 bombers and our strikes ended the war.” So it’s kind of almost like—if you want to spin it this way—okay, I know it’s a political tilt toward Trump here, but you could kind of spin it towards: Donald Trump is potentially bringing about the ceasefire with the strikes, right? Because within 48 hours of the strikes from the United States—what happens? Ceasefire. I think Twitter is having some problems—or X is having some problems—maybe they’re getting hacked by the Iranians in the last hour here. But anyway, this is huge. I mean this is huge breaking news. This is fantastic not only for risk appetite in markets, but it’s also good for consumers. I mean, look at futures—futures are absolutely rallying on this. 58 basis points on NASDAQ futures—that’s amazing. We already had a 1% day today, and so to get even more of this rally is fantastic. Tesla—look at that—Tesla jumping right off of the 347 line in the after hours. And here is your movement on the Qs right after the announcement of the ceasefire. Again, now it’s all a matter of—will it hold? Will it hold? This is critical. I think in order to long-term have this hold, you need the Trump version of the JCPOA 2.0. But it now means that America has proven its strength.

What is America First? For the past week, people like Candace Owens and “The Hodge Twins” tried to tell us they knew what it meant better than President Trump did. Complete nonsense. Meanwhile, I told you President Trump more than anyone on this planet has proven he deserves our trust and confidence as he navigates extremely dangerous and tricky world diplomacy. It turns out, Trump was right again and Trump won again — just like we told you. Trump won, the Panicans lost. Again. But it was Laura Ingraham tonight who I thought brought a wonderful summary of AMERICA FIRST, starting with President Reagan and then expanding greatly with President Trump and his historic ceasefire with Iran and Israel. Now, we’re gonna learn more of the specifics and the timing of all this, and bring all of that to you as the details come in. But I thought now would be a good time to re-emphasize two words — “America first.” At the cornerstone of Trump’s first two victories, of course, what set him apart from everyone else. Think of how we arrived at this moment. The story of 20th-century America is how we survived a dangerous period of wars and almost-wars. And by the ’80s, under President Reagan, we became a nation with unparalleled military power and economic power. It was peace through strength. Remember, Iran was so afraid of Reagan they released the 52 hostages it was holding minutes after he was inaugurated. Then by the late 1980s, after two terms of Reagan, the USSR was driven to its knees. Just couldn’t keep up with the US economic engine. Now, I was a young staffer at the White House back then when Gorbachev made his historic trip to Washington. The world was turning toward America. But then the 21st century tells a very different story — one where our leadership squandered what we’d built, with stupid trade moves and stupid wars, only to leave us adrift in a very dangerous world. Until, that is, Donald Trump came along. He told us it was time to get back to America first. “My foreign policy will always put the interests of the American people and American security above all else. Has to be first. Has to be. That will be the foundation of every single decision that I will make. America — America first will be the major and overriding theme of my administration.” Remember, the old establishment, they hated that. They were like, “Well, what is he talking about?” But his view, which was the correct one and really resonated with people, is that you don’t fight wars you don’t have to fight. Give peace a real chance, diplomacy a real chance. Rebuild our own country so we can remain free from foreign interference. He believes American strength shouldn’t be wasted, but used wisely. So on Saturday, as our Commander in Chief, with the intel he was given, President Trump made this pivotal decision to move on Iran, believing doing so was in the best interest of our country. Keeping us safe from Iran’s nuclear tyranny, for him, was the ultimate putting America first. So can you imagine where we’d be if Kamala were in the White House tonight? Oh my gosh, her crew would have had her dithering, appeasing, in endless international meetings that generated nothing but meaningless joint statements. She would’ve had us rejoin that idiotic Iran nuclear deal that gave Iran the breathing room it needed. She probably didn’t even understand the significance of the billions of dollars released to Iran under Obama and Biden. And imagine taking advice — speaking of people you don’t want to listen to — about any foreign policy matter, any advice whatsoever, from this guy. “This is very dangerous. My hope is that this is more performative than consequential, uh, and that it will satisfy their need to be able to respond. Uh, I think President Trump needs to clearly, uh, you know, be very judicious about measuring that and understanding it, and hopefully, uh, take the higher ground of getting back to the table for the simple reason, uh, that we don’t have any visibility anymore.” Okay, grandma. Now, this should be a time where we all come together around the simple idea that the best path to keeping America safe, independent, free in the long term is to ensure that we are as strong as possible as a nation. Because, look, Iran is severely weakened by these strides. They’ve agreed to the ceasefire. But there are still plenty of surrogates of Iran’s who may still want to do us harm. Undersecretary Pik— um, Undersecretary, uh, Pete Hegseth and General Dan Cain, our military has thankfully returned to its original mission to protect and defend our country. This is why recruiting is soaring in the military — because we are back to mission critical. I join the president and the secretary in being incredibly proud of the air crews, naval forces, cyber operators, planners, and support teams, and commanders who made this mission possible. It is their skill, discipline, and teamwork that makes this operation possible. I liked him in the Q&A. He’s no nonsense. But things could’ve gone in a very different direction, because this is where we were just a few short years ago. “Today, we’re not here to be strong. We’re not here to be courageous, even though for so many of you just coming to this event is an act of bravery. Today, we are here to find joy.” I’ll never for— I’ll never forget the f— the flag display there. What a travesty. The Supreme Leader was not hiding in a bunker during those years. Now look, the point is if we’re going to be engaged in more military actions — and I hope we aren’t — then we will have to focus everything we’ve got on our economy. And Trump knows this better than anyone. Which means we should not be dependent on any foreign country — especially China — to supply us parts or computer chips or medicines, none of it. And it means Congress can’t worship free trade over the need to rebuild our manufacturing base. Trump’s tariffs were and are brilliant. And no, costs aren’t being passed onto the consumers for the most part. The experts were wrong about that once again. Donald Trump’s commitment to restoring America’s industrial dominance, it’s not just bold, it is absolutely necessary. Yeah, some things in the short term may be a little bit more inconvenient, but in the long run, it means that we survive as an independent nation, not as a supplicant to China or anyone else. And beyond that, especially after tonight, we must be a country that loves itself again. Our schools should reinforce patriotism, not undermine it. If you’re a teacher and you spend most of your class time grousing about America, you should be shown the door. We need to go back to a time when America did not rely on foreign workers or illegal labor, when our trade deficits weren’t in the hundreds of billions of dollars, when our border was a given. President Trump knows that too. When even Hollywood would make the occasional feel-good, pro-American film. How about that? And while we can’t turn back time — I know everyone wants to sometimes or another — we can learn the hard lessons once and for all. America first. America always. And that’s the angle.

For the past week, people trying to divide MAGA have claimed that Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon are somehow at odds with President Trump. They’ve tried to present it as some ongoing split and divide.  A rift! I’ve told you all along Here’s the truth, as I just posted to Twitter: Tucker and Bannon were never “anti-Trump”. Stop with that nonsense. All they ever said was they don’t want new war with Iran. Trump didn’t either. PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH wins again. Trump/Tucker/Bannon = all aligned, all on the same page. President Trump had the genius and guts to see it through to a successful finish. There’s never been some big, deep divide… In fact, I never even heard very strong disagreements on policy. I heard all three men consistently say they don’t want new war with Iran.  They don’t want long-lasting war with Iran.  They don’t want regime change.  They don’t want a new 20-year tie up in the Middle East.  We don’t want to oversee a regime change. I never heard any disagreement on that topic from any of them. In fact, Ted Cruz tried to call Tucker Carlson an “isolationist” and Tucker rightly told him that was demonstrably false.  That’s not what he is. So all three men also recognized that sometimes to get to the outcome we all want, you need PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH. That’s why we elected President Trump. We trusted him to see this through. We trusted him to put every ounce of negotiating power on the table, and sometimes that looks like destroying three Nuclear facilities, and sometimes that looks like posting online about regime change to force their hand with pressure. President Trump knew that. President Trump executed things perfectly, perhaps even making Tucker and Bannon a bit nervous along the way….but that’s exactly how the Art of the Deal and the Art of War works. You have to let everyone know you’re serious about the alternatives.  So serious that even your allies start to get nervous that you might actually do it. And that’s how you win. So enough with all the nonsense about a rift between these men.  There’s nothing of the sort, and now that President Trump has successfully achieved peace, you’re going to see any alleged rift almost immediately dissolve because we all reached the place we all wanted to reach — thanks to our incredible Commander In Chief, President Trump.
