Michelle Obama Says She’s Glad She Didn’t Have A Son: “Would Have Been a Barack Obama”

Ouch. This one (almost) makes you feel bad for Barack Obama… On a recent episode of her podcast, Michelle Obama admitted that she is glad she didn’t have a son…because he would have turned out like her husband. Michelle really hates Barack … Michelle Obama is glad she never had a son like Barack https://t.co/7c3TG89QlJ pic.twitter.com/3QVrewWYBq — Twitchy Team (@TwitchyTeam) June 20, 2025 Makes one almost feel sorry for Barack. Imagine this sentiment coming from your wife. Wow. Michelle Obama on being ‘glad’ she didn’t have a son: ‘He would’ve been a Barack Obama’ https://t.co/fETnqL7m7a — Bo Snerdley (@BoSnerdley) June 19, 2025 The Hill reported: Michelle Obama says she’s “so glad” she never had a son — because he would’ve been a kiddie clone of her husband. “You should’ve threw a boy in the mix,” radio host Angie Martinez told Obama in an episode of the former first lady’s “IMO” podcast released Wednesday. The remark came as Obama and her brother, Craig Robinson, along with Martinez, discussed society’s view of masculinity and the challenges of raising boys and young men. “I’m so glad I didn’t have a boy,” Obama exclaimed. “Why didn’t you throw in a third?” Martinez said with a chuckle to the mother of two. “Because he would’ve been a Barack Obama,” the “Becoming” author and former president’s wife quipped to laughs. “Baby Barack — it would’ve been amazing!” Martinez replied. “Ooh, no, I would’ve felt for him,” Obama added of the potential mini version of the ex-commander in chief. That’s just cold. Can you imagine having a spouse that you don’t want your children to turn out like? It’s really sad, actually. Michelle’s latest dig at Barack comes amid a lot of rumors swirling about a potential divorce. The New York Post noted: Perhaps unsurprisingly, Obama’s musings pointed to a potential preoccupation with her 32-year marriage to the former president — which many have speculated is on the rocks. “Teach [your son] about how to deal with the traffic stop, but also teach him how to communicate in a marriage and to be a listening father,” Obama said before scoffing at the idea of having a baby Barack. Despite the possibly unintended jab, Michelle praised her hubby for his parenting prowess just last week in an interview with rock legend — and noted Democrat — Bruce Springsteen. These folks win the internet on this one… Most men deserve better. Not Barack. — FugitiveMama (@fugitivemama) June 19, 2025 She’d prefer a son more masculine…like her. — TeaPartyOG (@TeaPartyOGs) June 19, 2025

President Trump FIRES OFF On Juneteenth: “Too Many Non-Working Holidays in America”

President Trump FIRES OFF On Juneteenth: “Too Many Non-Working Holidays in America”

President Trump just fired off on “non-working holidays” that force workers to take a day off and are costing our nation “BILLIONS OF DOLLARS.” He says that things must change. Read his full Truth Social post here: Too many non-working holidays in America. It is costing our Country $BILLIONS OF DOLLARS to keep all of these businesses closed. The workers don’t want it either! Soon we’ll end up having a holiday for every once working day of the year. It must change if we are going to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! President Trump’s post seems to be in response to Juneteenth — a federal holiday that Joe Biden declared in 2021. The Hill said: Government employees are traditionally given the day off on federal holidays while receiving pay. Juneteenth, created to celebrate the freedom of enslaved Black Americans, was designated as a federal holiday in 2021 by former President Biden. However, his call to get rid of “non-working holidays” is stirring up a lot of debate online. Here’s what folks on both sides of the issue are saying on X: Remove all DEI Holidays they created during Biden era! — For The Alamo Heroes (@Alamo1836Alamo) June 19, 2025 Sorry, but no. We are already working non-stop. The government had raised the retirement age, before you know it, it will have us slaving away well into our 70s. No thanks. Keep the holidays, and add more. — MK71 (@MK71GA) June 20, 2025 America needs productivity, not more paid naps. — Masculine Based (@MasculineBased) June 19, 2025 Not sure about you, but my wallet’s tired of funding national nap days. — The Undercurrent (@NotTheirScript) June 19, 2025 Not onboard for this one. Holidays are determined by the company in the private sector. It’s a benefit that companies can use to compete for employees. It’s also time people usually spend with their friends and families. We have enough overreach. You have a lot more cutting to do… — Laughering (@laughering) June 20, 2025 I think a healthy middle ground should be the focus here. Get rid of ‘Juneteenth’ and other such made-up holidays. But, give hard-working Americans some time off on holidays that honor our nation and our God. Which, honestly, seems like what most middle-class Americans already get. It’s only federal employees and Congressmen that get way too much time off… These folks hit the nail on the head: Who gets more than 6 paid holidays a year? Most people get Christmas, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day and Maybe Labor Day. It’s only Federal employees and Congress that get all the “holidays” off. — No No (@HarperLeeFan2) June 20, 2025 He must be talking about Congress. They take, what? 150 vacation/ holidays a year? — JustAGal (@WendyMallalieu) June 20, 2025 What are your thoughts?

Mike Lindell Says “Totally Vindicated!”

Mike Lindell Says “Totally Vindicated!”

So many of you have been asking me for an update from Mike Lindell and MyPillow on the trial and I finally have it. MyPillow = 100% vindicated.  Not guilty. Mike Lindell = also a big win in my opinion, I’ll explain more below. Mypillow was 100% vindicated today!Thank you all for your help at https://t.co/h9OkREt4NV All donations will now go to secure our elections and help save our country! https://t.co/1U1cL77W56 — Mike Lindell (@realMikeLindell) June 17, 2025 Here’s a quick summary of how everything panned out: A federal jury found Mike Lindell and his media platform liable for defaming Eric Coomer, a former Dominion Voting Systems employee, awarding Coomer $2.3 million—far less than the $62.7 million requested. MyPillow found 100% Not Guilty of anything. The jury ruled that two statements made by Lindell, including calling Coomer a “traitor,” were defamatory, while eight other statements were not deemed defamatory. Lindell has vowed to appeal, arguing that Coomer failed to prove actual harm, and reaffirmed his commitment to speaking out about election integrity and advocating for the elimination of voting machines in favor of paper ballots. Lindell says his beliefs were influenced by credible sources, including the HBO documentary Kill Chain and national security expert Gen. Michael Flynn, who has served both Republican and Democratic administrations. Lindell denied knowingly spreading falsehoods, saying he never accused Coomer directly of rigging the election, and argued that his statements were political speech protected under the First Amendment. Coomer’s legal team argued the damage was severe, citing threats, depression, and career loss due to conspiracy theories, though Coomer had already been the focus of claims before Lindell ever mentioned him. The case drew parallels to other defamation judgments, including the Dominion-Fox News settlement ($787M) and the $148M Rudy Giuliani verdict, but Lindell’s penalty was significantly lower. Lindell said his net worth dropped from $60 million to a $10 million debt, largely due to his public fight over election integrity—showing personal sacrifice in pursuit of his beliefs. Trump’s 2020 election claims continue to stir national debate, with some critics using the Lindell case to try to discredit broader election integrity concerns, while Lindell remains one of the few high-profile figures steadfast in challenging voting machine security. The article criticized unrelated political figures, including Sen. Mike Lee and Gov. Tim Walz, for their responses to a tragic shooting incident involving a Minnesota lawmaker, but did not connect Lindell or Trump to that event in any substantive way. Widespread protests labeled “No Kings” drew an estimated 5 million participants across 2,000+ U.S. cities, countering Trump’s birthday and U.S. Army anniversary parade, but remained peaceful despite political tensions. The piece concludes with a quote from Winston Churchill about the enduring nature of truth, signaling ongoing tension between competing narratives in American public discourse. Why do I say this is still a big win for Mike Lindell? Because in every other Dominion lawsuit, the damages have been FAR greater. Mike’s looks extremely small in comparison, you might even call it a “slap on the wrist”: Mike Lindell / Frankspeech Judgment: $2.3 million Plaintiff: Eric Coomer (former Dominion director of security) Allegation: Lindell called Coomer a “traitor” and made other defamatory remarks tying him to election fraud. Outcome: Jury found 2 statements defamatory, awarded $2.3M in damages. Lindell plans to appeal. Note: Much smaller than other Dominion-related judgments. Jury rejected 8 of 10 challenged statements. Fox News / Dominion Settlement: $787.5 million Plaintiff: Dominion Voting Systems Allegation: Fox repeatedly aired false claims that Dominion rigged the 2020 election. Outcome: Settled just before trial in April 2023; one of the largest known media defamation settlements in U.S. history. Note: Fox did not issue a formal on-air apology, but acknowledged the court’s findings. Rudy Giuliani / Georgia Poll Workers (Freeman & Moss) Judgment: $148 million Plaintiff: Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss (Fulton County poll workers) Allegation: Giuliani falsely accused them of ballot fraud during the 2020 election. Outcome: Jury awarded $148M in December 2023, including punitive damages. Note: Not a Dominion case per se, but part of the broader election-related defamation fallout. In any event, Mike vows to appeal the ruling. Here is Lindell breaking it all down after the fact: Mike Lindell Speaks Out After Jury Verdict: “This Was Never About Money—It’s About Free Speech” After the Colorado verdict, @realMikeLindell breaks down what really happened: – Only 2 of 10 statements were his.– One wasn’t even from him.– The judge pre-declared defamation… pic.twitter.com/PwGgiXYc1g — LindellTV (@RealLindellTV) June 17, 2025 Please continue to support Mike and MyPillow if you can… And here’s a code you can use to save big: BIGGEST SALE OF THE YEAR: Check Out the “Best Deal” On MyPillow’s Giza Dream Sheets – Any Size, Any Color Just $49.98! JUST IN: Federal Appeals Court Delivers Major Blow to Gavin Newsom

In a big win for President Trump and a major defeat for California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a federal appeals court just unanimously ruled against giving control of the National Guard to Newsom. Today, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit granted an extension of a previous ruling that blocked a different judge’s order for President Trump to rescind control of the California National Guard to Gavin Newsom. Check it out: BREAKING: A federal appeals court has indefinitely blocked Judge Breyer’s order to put Gavin Newsom back in control of the National Guard. The three-judge panel, which included two Trump and one Biden appointee, was unanimous. pic.twitter.com/kL5vASDcm1 — Kyle Cheney (@kyledcheney) June 20, 2025 #BREAKING: A federal appeals court has unanimously BLOCKED Gavin Newsom from taking back control of the California National Guard from President Trump ANOTHER L FOR NEWSCUM 47 wins again, @GavinNewsom pic.twitter.com/cNSiMB69vx — Nick Sortor (@nicksortor) June 20, 2025 CBS News has more: The unanimous order from a three-judge panel for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit is a victory for the president and allows for the continued deployment of roughly 4,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles, where they have been protecting federal property and U.S. immigration agents during enforcement operations. Mr. Trump invoked a law known as Title 10 to call the Guard into federal service earlier this month in response to demonstrations against immigration raids conducted across Los Angeles. Since then, a total of roughly 4,100 National Guard troops and 700 active-duty U.S. Marines have deployed to Los Angeles. Newsom, a Democrat, objects to the use of troops in California’s largest city and sued the president over his decision to federalize the California Guard. A federal judge, U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer, concluded last week that Mr. Trump’s actions were illegal and exceeded the scope of his authority. The judge blocked the administration from deploying members of the California National Guard in Los Angeles and directed the president to return control of the troops to Newsom. His decision applied only to Mr. Trump’s deployment of the National Guard, and not the Marines. The Trump administration swiftly appealed the decision and won a temporary stay of Breyer’s order from the 9th Circuit. It held a hearing Tuesday to consider a Justice Department request to halt the judge’s decision while the case proceeds. The wins just keep coming… This aged like milk: This didn’t age well @GavinNewsom pic.twitter.com/BixF6uvJu5 — Western Lensman (@WesternLensman) June 20, 2025 What’s your view on this?

Activist Judge Hannah Dugan’s Trial For Obstructing ICE REMOVED From Calendar

Wisconsin Judge Hannah Dugan’s trial date has been removed from the calendar as the court reviews her motion to dismiss the case. As you probably recall, Judge Dugan was indicted last month for obstructing an ICE arrest after she tried to hide an illegal aliens from immigration authorities in her courtroom. Here’s what’s happening: Judge Hannah Dugan’s trial — for alleged obstruction of federal immigration agents — is OFF the calendar The federal court first wants to look through — and possibly rule — on Dugan’s motion to dismiss the case — Scott MacFarlane (@MacFarlaneNews) June 19, 2025 Fox 6 Now reported: Federal District Court Judge Lynn Adelman pushed the trial because the court still needs to weigh Dugan’s motion to dismiss. Dugan’s defense argued she has judicial immunity, meaning she’s protected from prosecution for her official actions as a judge. “If you look at the indictment, if you look at the five things they point out, those are things that judges do,” said Defense Attorney Jason Luczak. “Judges have to set hearings, they can call cases off the record. In the four corners of the walls of that courtroom, she has broad discretion to do the things the state of Wisconsin gives her the power to do.” However, the federal government said judicial immunity only applies to civil lawsuits and does not shield judges from criminal prosecution. “Judicial immunity only applies to civil lawsuits. What is very strange about Judge Dugan’s motion to dismiss is she asserts an absolute immunity from criminal prosecution, even though all of the cases that she cites are about civil lawsuits,” said Howard Schweber, University of Wisconsin political science professor emeritus. What’s next: Dugan’s trial was initially set to begin on July 21. The judge did not set a new date. The court appears to be seriously deliberating dismissing Judge Dugan’s case, which is absolutely ridiculous. We’re talking about a woman who was caught on cam distracting ICE agents to try and help an illegal alien escape! Are our courts really that lawless? BREAKING: Judge Hannah Dugan’s trial was just REMOVED from the docket. Someone better not be giving her a pass. She’s clearly GUILTY. I’m tired of the GOP being the “bigger person”. I want PRISON for people who think they are above the law. pic.twitter.com/kpqiA8zEmS pic.twitter.com/uWKfmX3vNW — Mila Joy (@MilaLovesJoe) June 19, 2025 Full video of that here, for a refresher: What’s your opinion?

NYC Makes $1B Deal With Hotels, More Shelters For Who?

NYC Makes $1B Deal With Hotels, More Shelters For Who?

Ah, New York City. The city that never wants to go to sleep. The city that sells big apples. Or something like that. Last we checked in with those apple sellers, they were stashing away illegal immigrants in hundreds of hotels in that state. But I’m sure they’ve changed their ways. Let’s see… NYC inks $1B no-bid shelter contract with hotel industry despite claims migrant crisis is easing https://t.co/BMQgzBgkwF pic.twitter.com/p48Wo0Ns0W — New York Post (@nypost) June 19, 2025 Hmm, that doesn’t sound like they’ve changed. New York Post reports: The Adams administration has inked a nearly $1 billion no-bid contract with the hotel industry for emergency shelter space — despite boasting that the migrant crisis is tapering off, The Post has learned. Taxpayers are on the hook for the $929.1 million reupped with the Hotel Association of New York City Foundation as the total city population still includes a whopping 86,000 people, including homeless individuals and asylum seekers. “These hotel units will be used by social services vendors to house emergency shelter clients who have entered the [Department of Homeless Services] shelter system,” the agency said in a notice posted Wednesday. The reupped contract took effect in January and runs through June 30, 2026. It was awarded via “negotiated acquisition” – meaning it was not put out for competitive bids. The initial contract was negotiated through the end of 2025, as previously reported by The Post. The move is a head-scratcher, said Nicole Gelinas, senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute. “Why do we need to be using so many hotels for day to day homeless management?,” Gelinas said. “This is turning an emergency program into a permanent program and taking a block of hotel rooms off the tourist market while people complain the city’s hotel room costs are so high.” Gelinas said the city should have made hotels bid against each other instead of treating the hospitality industry “as a monopoly” with a sole source contract. Under the new contract, it’s up to the Hotel Association as a “fiscal agent” of the program to connect the city with hotels that are willing to set aside rooms to shelter homeless individuals and families in exchange for rental payments. Now who wants to go with the mayor and see what he’s up to? All of you? Good. This should be fun. We’re coming, Adams, we’re coming. Come with me to Get Stuff Done: pic.twitter.com/sVNGaGBzr0 — Mayor Eric Adams (@NYCMayor) June 18, 2025 He sure was “getting stuff done”. But for who? I notice the camera is off when he’s in the meetings. What’s he doing in there? Signing deals to give billions of dollars to illegal immigrants? Isn’t this something DOGE should look into? Eric Adams’ $1B hotel deal for migrants — whose numbers are dwindling — sure comes with stink https://t.co/267xwQqFFY pic.twitter.com/fjEqZpPkVo — NY Post Opinion (@NYPostOpinion) June 19, 2025 In the fictional world, New York City used to have commercials that asked: “If there’s something strange in your neighborhood, Who you gonna call?” If there’s something weird and it don’t look good Who you gonna call? Illegalbusters! Yes, that’s the real number. Feel free to share that meme. ICE 24/7 TIP LINE 866-DHS-2-ICE (866-347-2423) — The White House (@WhiteHouse) April 6, 2025 Your thoughts?

Big Win: A President Can Use the Guard to Protect Federal Agents

Gavin Newsom was surprised but no one else should have been after he was unanimously slapped down at the Ninth Circuit in his fight over control of the National Guard. Newsom was also counting […] The post Big Win: A President Can Use the Guard to Protect Federal Agents appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.
