At a recent Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game, singer Nezza — a Colombian-Dominican born in California — was invited to perform the national anthem, “The Star Spangled Banner.” She wanted to sing it in Spanish to protest ICE deportations in the city. But, the LA Dodgers denied that request (as they should) and told her to sing it in English. However, Nezza didn’t listen and sang the anthem in Spanish anyways. Nezza then posted on TikTok about how proud she was of herself for disobeying and singing the national anthem in Spanish. Multiple reports are surfacing that suggest Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, has been killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes. No confirmation has yet been given officially, though some of the reports indicate that may be forthcoming. Most of the reporting is coming from media INSIDE IRAN — including independent media associated with the political opposition. If these reports prove accurate, the situation on the ground in Iran — and in the Capital of Tehran — may be about to shift even more than they do from the impacts of Israeli airstrikes. There has been no specific indication of when his alleged death occurred, though it seems possible that if true, he may have died days ago during the initial strikes. After all… a ton of his top leaders were taken out in the first wave with pinpoint accuracy and incredibly creative planning. If he was in that bunker, and not already KIA, I doubt it was actually a ‘spider hole’. But one question begs to be answered if he was. The reports indicate that his entire family was with him, including his two sons, one of which has been groomed to be the next leader. He is dead, at the hands of the Israelis, but his body is in THEIR hands — because they took him out by some covert means other than an airstrike from hundreds of miles away. He is not dead… and this is a ploy by Mossad to either stoke opposition fires inside Iran, or… have him poke his head out to PROVE he isn’t dead — at which point they change that. I’m honestly having a hard time deciding what’s going on here. But the intensity of the rumor mill *seems* to be a little more heightened on this than you would normally see with a viral rumor that later proves untrue. That doesn’t mean it’s accurate… that’s just my early read on the situation. As more reports start to flood the internet, I am expecting some sort of confirmation one way or another in the next day or so, at least. But… if he is still alive, he has to know this is likely a ploy on the part of Israel, Iranian opposition, or both… to bring him to the surface, so someone CAN take a shot at him. The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office shared a photo of Boelter’s arrest, describing it as “the face of evil.” “After relentless and determined police work, the killer is now in custody. Thanks to the dedication of multiple agencies working together along with support from the community, justice is one step closer,” the sheriff’s office said on Facebook. CBS News added: The manhunt for Boelter lasted over 24 hours, as authorities issued shelter-in-place orders for parts of the northwest metro. “I’m grateful that this nightmare has come to an end with the suspected murderer captured alive so he can be charged, prosecuted, and punished for the horror he has wrought on our state,” said Speaker Lisa Demuth (R-Cold Spring) in a statement. “Thank you to the brave men and women of local, state, and federal law enforcement who have worked around the clock to ensure this evil man faces justice.” Officials said Brooklyn Park police arrived at Hortman’s home around 3:30 a.m. and found a car that looked like a police SUV with emergency lights on. Boelter then left the home and exchanged gunfire with police officers before fleeing. In a press conference, officials said he was last seen in Minneapolis, wearing a light-colored cowboy hat and a dark shirt with light pants. Officials said he should be considered “armed and dangerous.” Gov. Tim Walz called Hortman’s death a “political assassination” and ordered flags to fly at half staff to honor her and her husband. Hortman, who served as the Speaker Emerita of the Minnesota House, leaves behind two children. Prior to his capture, a lot of details about Vance Boelter spread like wildfire online. He had a lot of jobs — including working for Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz. Allegedly, he voted for President Trump and had a hit list targeting many Democrat politicians, as well as both pro-life advocates and abortion clinics. He had a wife and five kids but was apparently living with his childhood best friend. He preached and gave sermons in Africa. In general, this guy’s life was full of strange details and seeming discrepancies. And, there are a lot of theories about what exactly motivated him to carry out Saturday’s very chilling, calculated attack on politicians. Now, the MSM is running with the story that Boelter was a white, evangelical Trump supporter who assassinated a politician because he was radicalized MAGA and hated Democrats. But in reality, Boelter doesn’t seem very MAGA at all. And, he definitely wasn’t a Christian. Truthfully, Boelter just seems like an extreme grifter who was using any platform or ideology he could for attention. And when the attention dried up, he moved on to the next thing. Eventually, his addiction to attention evolved into an egotistical mania and escalated the point of violence. He chased every opportunity to get in front of an audience: volunteering for Governor Walz’s “Workforce Development” initiatives, speaking at conferences, anything to be seen as a leader. And in videos of him in African churches, you see him light up. He’s performing. He’s preaching vague, positive platitudes to foreign audiences. He wanted to be somebody. He wanted to be followed. There’s good reason to believe that @JamesHartline is right… he was remodeling that building below into a church. Not to serve Jesus, but as a stage for an audience that would never come. I think he is a man addicted to attention and status, who tried to get it through a lot of means. And when that attention dried up (possibly whoever cut him off his funding in Congo), he snapped. I believe Vance Boelter committed violence as a last, desperate attempt to be glorified: under the delusion that killing abortion rights activists would make him a martyr or hero. This is not Christianity. I watched his sermons. They were designed to provoke emotional applause, not spiritual conviction. His actions contradict the standard Jesus gave us to recognize false prophets: “By their fruits you will know them.” – Matthew 7:15–20 Boelter bore no good fruit. Just narcissism, manipulation, and ultimately violence. He wasn’t an evangelical or MAGA. He was a man who couldn’t stand being ordinary. What are your thoughts?
