Democrat Representative Eric Swalwell intensified his clash with the FBI on Monday, threatening Director Kash Patel with legal action over reports that the bureau plans to publicly release decade-old investigative files related to his past ties to a Chinese intelligence operative.

When up to 10,000 illegal aliens were pouring in each day under Joe Biden, it didn’t look good in the press. So Secretary Mayorkas came up with a plan. The plan reduced the appearance of illegal flooding of the border. It also made illegals who used it legal with two-year work permits. It was done without any legal justification or vetting. The plot was centered on a One App program that allowed illegal aliens to apply by phone to come into the United States and then come in “legally.” President Trump canceled the program and changed it into a departure program for illegal aliens. Aliens who came in under One App were ordered out of the country. An Obama-appointed judge, who ruled against Trump multiple times, ordered him to restore their legal status. Remarkable. The Biden administration created out of thin air a pathway on a cell phone app for roughly 900,000 migrants from around the world to bypass the Rio Grande and enter the U.S. at ports of entry. The New York Times: A federal judge in Boston ruled on Tuesday that the Trump administration had unlawfully terminated the legal status of tens of thousands of migrants who had been allowed to temporarily live and work in the United States if they announced their presence using an app introduced by the Biden administration. In a 25-page opinion, Judge Allison D. Burroughs of the Federal District Court for the District of Massachusetts ordered the Trump administration to reverse course, after it last April instructed as many as 900,000 migrants who had used the app to leave “immediately.” Judge Burroughs said her order applied to those individuals who used the app between May 2023 and January 2025 and who remain in the United States. Tens of thousands of people who received the notice have already left the United States voluntarily or been deported. Judge Burroughs concluded that the Trump administration had issued the blanket order to scores of people, notably from Venezuela, Cuba, and Haiti, without any rationale for the abrupt about-face.
