Which Artists Have Won The Most CMA Awards?

The most decorated acts in CMA history. With the 59th annual CMA Awards airing live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville in just six days on November 19th, the buzz surrounding the show keeps growing with each passing day. With Lainey Wilson, Ella Langley and Megan Moroney leading the way with six nominations across the 12 major categories, Zach Top, Morgan Wallen, Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton are also among the night’s top-nominated artists. Notably, Langley continues her incredible hot streak with “you look like you love me” (featuring Riley Green), receiving three separate nominations for Single, Song and Music Video of the Year. Additionally, she is nominated for Female Vocalist and New Artist of the Year. Zach Top is also riding the highs of his debut album, Cold Beer & Country Music, last year, as the “Use Me” singer received five nominations in Male Vocalist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (“I Never Lie”), Single of the Year (“I Never Lie”) and Album of the Year (Cold Beer & Country Music). Reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year, Morgan Wallen, is nominated for three awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year (I’m The Problem). He will compete with Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton in an attempt to become the first back-to-back EOTY winner since Combs himself did it back in 2021-22. And as the anticipation for this year’s awards continues to grow in the days leading up to the show, I thought now was the perfect time to take a walk through the CMA’s history and find out who the most awarded artists of all time were. To no one’s surprise, the likes of legends such as Brooks & Dunn, Vince Gill, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton and more dominate this list, all scoring at least 10 CMA Award wins throughout their careers. With that being said, however, there are quite a few surprises throughout the lengthy Top 10 list. Tied for the #1 spot with Brooks & Dunn is none other than Chris Stapleton. Though it might seem nearly inconceivable given the fact that Stapleton has only been active as an artist for a decade, he’s captured a staggering eight Male Vocalist of the Year wins, along with various other awards over the past decade. In fact, with just one more Male Vocalist win on Thursday (barring a Brooks & Dunn Vocal Duo win), Stapleton will take full control as the most awarded artist in CMA history. As for other surprises on the list, Taylor Swift appears, tied at the #9 spot with the likes of legends, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, The Judds and producer, Tony Brown. Additionally, both Luke Combs and Lainey Wilson are also already present on the list, also being tied at the #9 spot with the aforementioned artists with 9 career CMA awards. Finally, it should be noted that there are plenty of “Artists With The Most CMA Awards” lists out there online today; however, many of those are littered with faulty information, both in the order of the artists themselves and the number of awards won. For this list, the total amount of wins, nominations and the awards themselves have been accessed directly from the CMA’s database. Simply put, it’s an accurate collection. Without further ado, these are the artists with the most CMA Awards in history. T1. Another group armed and funded by both the US and Israel.Reagan met with the Taliban in the White House. Carter armed and funded the Mujahideen via Zbigniew Brzezinski in the late 70s. FDR armed and funded Ho Chi Minh in the 30s. The US and Israel have armed and funded Al Qaeda, the Taliban, ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and HTS. This perpetual chaos being funded is another example of the Hegelian Dialectic in politics. Problem, reaction, solution, repeat. These Israeli proxies continue to devastate the Middle East and then people call on Israel to bring "peace?" It's insanity. The continued creation of these proxies is why we are seeing international chaos. By design.Trump who ran initially against the deep state and neocons now fully embraces them under the guise of "peace." Bush did the same. Are people so incredibly normalized to this that they can't see the perpetuation of the same military industrial complex that has existed for the past 100 years? How can people be so blind? It is not 5D chess to kill thousands of innocent civilians (mostly children) in order to "bring down the deep state."This is yet another reason why government is not a solution to problems created by government. Will people finally realize all presidents are puppets and stop making excuses and "waiting to see" what happens next? This is manufactured chaos and the solution is to withdraw from politics and focus on individual freedom which you cannot be granted. You must live it or you must give it up. Career waitress left her grandson a priceless gift—a vase filled with 7,679 quarters

When people hear the word "inheritance," they often imagine large sums of money, property, expensive jewelry, or other things with clear monetary value. But sometimes what a loved one passes along to their heirs when they die is valuable for reasons that have nothing to do with money—even when the item actually is money.A man named Vinny received an unusual gift from his grandma before she passed away. He posted an image of a vase full of coins on Reddit, writing, "Grandma gave me 7,679 quarters." Vinny shared more pictures of the coins on his Imgur profile, @Raslatt84, and shared the wholesome story behind it. from coins According to Newsweek, Vinny's grandma lived in Montana and she had decided to leave those coins for her beloved grandson for a special reason. "We were very close," Vinny told Newsweek. "I was the oldest grandkid, so I was the first to get all of her love and attention." His grandma passed away in 2022 and Vinny paid her a final visit to say goodbye. That was when he got the vase full of coins that was meant for him as a parting gift."Grandma was a career waitress in Montana," he revealed to the outlet. "She grew up on a farm near the border of Montana and Canada. She went to beauty school after high school graduation and worked as a beautician for a little while, but then became a waitress for most of her life." Grandma gave me 7,679 quarters Vinny's grandma was loved by the locals who visited the restaurant where she worked. Each time Vinny visited his grandma, she would give him a few quarters as a gift. "My mom and I would visit grandma at work during her shift breaks. Grandma would always give me a couple of quarters to use in the restaurant's candy machine," Vinny recalled."I became accustomed to grandma giving me quarters for the candy—so I would naturally tug on her waitress uniform when I first saw her and say, 'quarters grandma, quarters'," Vinny wrote on Reddit. "I gave her the vase as a Christmas present when I was about 12 years old." After that, Vinny's grandma started putting every quarter she received as tips from her customers, into the vase. "Grandma was not an investor—but she was a good saver," Vinny said. "I was in shock when I found out she had saved all of the quarters for me." Imagine receiving over 7,000 quarters that each represent a grandmother's love.Photo credit: CanvaThe fact that Vinny gave her the vase makes the gift extra special. Vinny estimated that the coins weighed close to 95 pounds, and after sorting and counting them, he had a total of $1,919. He also checked for silver quarters, but there were none. Later on, Vinny took the quarters to Wells Fargo and had the money invested in a brokerage account. "I do wish I had checked for misprints," Vinny concluded. "In hindsight, I wish I had kept the vase of quarters to pass down. I am very lucky to have had her as my grandma." One commenter called the gift "priceless," and another wrote, "This Grandma wins the medal of beautiful sentiment. Lovingly handcrafted over 25 years. Give her a massive hug - from internet romantics." Vinny grandma gave him a priceless gift. Photo credit: CanvaIf you're wondering what the average inheritance amount is in the U.S., the number might look surprising at first glance. According to Federal Reserve Data from 1989 to 2020, the average inheritance for an American household is $46,200. However, as Yahoo Finance points out, that number is drastically skewed by the extremely wealthy who inherit amounts far higher than that. In reality, 70% to 80% of households receive no inheritance at all. But as this jar full of quarters shows, sometimes a modest inheritance can be simply priceless. 'Just keep looking at it': Tom Cruise has the perfect advice for overcoming social anxiety

Not only can Tom Cruise do his own stunts, but he's pretty good at giving pep talks, too. At least, according to his Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One co-star, Haley Atwell. While promoting the film earlier this year on the Reign with Josh Smith, Atwell revealed that she, like so many of us, struggles with social anxiety, which often overwhelms her and makes her want to retreat. But she was saved by incredibly insightful advice from Tom Cruise, which she imparts to the audience. After describing him as a positive "hair dryer" just blowing his positive energy around, Josh asks, "What's the best pep talk he's given you?" Haley answers, "Social anxiety tends to be something that people talk about a lot at the moment. It seems to be quite a buzzword of conversation."How Haley Atwell experiences social anxietyThey both agree that everyone has some version of anxiety, whether it's in a big group of people, a new work environment, or even just around a small group of friends. In fact, according to the American Psychiatric Association, about one in 10 adults and teens experiences social anxiety. Among adults, about 14% of males and 12% of females experience it at some point in their lives. Atwell confesses, "For me, I start to retreat into myself and overthink. 'Do I look weird? Do I seem awkward?' I'm not speaking, I'm just muffling my words, or I need something to numb me from this.'" - YouTube www.youtube.com Luckily, Cruise has quite a simple way to combat these feelings. "The pep talk he gave me helps, which is that if you walk into a room and feel the anxieties coming, try doing the opposite. Try to look OUT, look around the room, and go, 'Where is it?' Where is the thing I have attached to my insecurity?"The idea is to pinpoint the place where her (or any of our) anxiety might be rooted. "Is it that person over there who reminds me of my high school bully? Is it that person over there who didn't give me a job once?" Once the source is recognized, if possible, Cruise suggests asking yourself, "Where does it live outside of me, and where do I feel like the source might be coming from?"Haley emphasizes that examining her fear, which Cruise encourages, truly helps the anxiety subside. She continues, "If I look at it for long enough, the anxiety then can have a name. It can have a label and be contained, instead of free-floating, where I'm just in a total struggle internally with my own anxiety." Seeing through this prism, she shares, "If I’m scared of something, if I keep looking at it long enough, it tends to not be the monster under the bed anymore." A photo of Haley Atwell at an event.commons.wikimedia.org Naming the emotion—whether it's jealousy, loneliness, etc.—can help you address it openly so it doesn't fester in your mind. She reiterates Cruise's words: "If you're scared of something, just keep looking at it. Try not to look away, and it will often give you information about how to overcome it."That advice could be a big reason why Cruise has been able to attempt such incredible stunts, such as hanging off an Airbus A400M, climbing the Burj Khalifa, or the motorcycle cliff jump in Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning. How to overcome social anxietyCruise's advice isn't all that different from many professional therapists. In the blog post, "How to overcome social anxiety: 8 tips and strategies" (clinically reviewed by Dr. Chris Mosunic, PhD, RD, MBA, for Calm.com,) ideas on how to overcome social anxiety are given and number one on the list could have been written by Cruise himself: "Identify your triggers," they write, explaining, "The first step to managing social anxiety is understanding what sparks it. Triggers can be unique to each person. Some might find large gatherings intimidating, while others might find public speaking intimidating. To identify your triggers, keep a journal of your feelings and the situations that make you anxious. Recognizing these triggers is a crucial step in managing your reactions to them."They also suggest, among other ideas, breathing techniques such as the 4-7-8 method: inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7, and exhale for 8. They also advise "challenging negative thought patterns." They explain, "Practice challenging these thoughts. Ask yourself: 'Is this thought based on facts or feelings? What's the best thing that could happen?' Replacing negative thoughts with positive ones can help reduce feelings of anxiety." - YouTube www.youtube.com Whether you take the advice from therapists or Tom Cruise, the takeaway remains more or less the same. Take your time to identify the source of what's triggering you. Great to know that what works for Ethan Hunt can work for the rest of us.
