Privacy International notes the Home Office has since denied the databases are used to investigate those crimes. Big Brother Watch filed Freedom of Information (FoI) requests which revealed that police searches of the passport database began with 2 in 2020, but reached 417 in 2023. The immigration database was searched 16 times in 2023 and 102 times in 2024, according to Big Brother Watch. The figures for the passport database end in October, 2024, but indicate police had performed 377 searches of the two civilian databases in the first 9 months of the year. Immigration search figures end in mid-May of this year, showing 34 searches in the first four-and-a-half months of 2025. Biometric Update reported in May that UK police had searched Home Office’s immigration database 110 times in the past year. The databases contain an estimated 150 million photos, combined, 58 million of them for biometric passports. They were enrolled in a facial recognition library without parliament being informed, and no public policy has been published to govern the searches.

Here’s the kicker: Over 80 percent of all U.K bread (and much of what’s sold worldwide) is made this way. You won’t see “Chorleywood” on the label. But if your bread stays soft and edible for two weeks or more and sticks to the roof of your mouth, you’ve likely eaten it. Here’s a break down of the ingredients – and non-ingredients – you might be chewing on: Undeclared enzymes Many commercial bakers use enzymes to make dough rise faster and stay soft longer. OH — the audacity!  The audacity of those blasted Trump voters! And she might be wishing a lot of that attention would just go away.  (Maybe like her TV career?) If Welch has it right, what should happen is a ban on Trump voters. They should simply be banned from stepping foot inside any number of businesses which are owned and operated (because every one of these types of businesses are owned and operated by the enemies of President Trump, apparently) by those targeted by the ‘Bad Orange Man’. She began her now infamous rant by calling out those who “Triple-Trumped”; those who voted for President Trump in the last 3 Presidential elections. Which makes me wonder on the contrary if we shouldn’t be giving out some sort of consolation prize to those Americans who did ‘Triple-Trump’. Those folks, more than anyone else, were cheated the most under Biden’s term. Maybe a reimbursement on the 4-year cost of Biden-flation? Because as it turns out, President Trump probably DID win all three of those elections, just like most of us thought — but that’s another story, for another time. I am determined to use this story to highlight Jennifer Welch’s rant, fixate primarily on those who MOCKED her for it, and enjoy every minute. Martinez Hernandez was given the maximum sentence allowed in the state of Maryland, which is two life sentences, and an additional 40 years in prison. He will not be deported to El Salvador to carry out his sentence. CBS News reported: Victor Martinez-Hernandez was found guilty in April of kidnapping, raping and murdering 37-year-old Morin, who was a mother a five. Her body was found off the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air on August 6, 2023. He received the maximum sentence for each count, including life without parole for first-degree murder, life for first-degree rape, and 40 years for a sex offense and kidnapping, according to court officials. “Arguably, Harford County has never seen a case or a defendant more deserving of every single day of the maximum sentences this court imposed,” Harford County State’s Attorney Alison Healey said outside the courthouse. Court officials said Martinez-Hernandez will serve his sentence in Maryland and would not be deported back to his home country of El Salvador. According to Healy, this is because judges in Maryland do not have the authority to incarcerate someone in any jail except Maryland Department of Corrections facilities. Rachel Morin’s half sister, Erin Morin Layman, said the sentence doesn’t bring Rachel back, but it does give the family some closure. “There’ll always be an empty void in our lives, and in the children’s lives, but we do get some closure,” Morin Layman said after the sentencing hearing. “So we can move on from this and know he’s not gonna get out.
