Apple seeds iPadOS 26 beta 3 with these 10 features

Following the release of iPadOS 26 beta 2 a couple of weeks ago, Apple has just seeded beta 3 of this upcoming software update. As the beta cycle of iPadOS 26 completes its first month, Cupertino prepares to launch the first public beta of this system in the next few days.  With iPadOS 26 beta 3, developers should see bug and battery draining improvements. In addition, if Apple follows the trend, this system should bring visual changes, as the company starts implementing developers' feedback. Whether you're testing the developer's beta or waiting for the official release later this fall, one of the main changes of iPadOS 26 is the new Liquid Glass design. With that, Apple wants to make switching between the Mac, the iPhone, and the iPad more seamless.  Image source: José Adorno for BGR To make that happen, iPadOS 26 beta 3 offers a new windowing system. With that, you can add as many open apps on your Home Screen as you'd want. While Apple still should add something like different desktop options during the windowing mode, it's way better than the previous Stage Manager, Split Screen, and Slide Over options. Besides that, the company now lets tasks run in the background, which means you can keep exporting a video while use another app. In addition, the Files app got even better, as you can see everything in list view and resize columns. Trying to make the iPad more of a powerhouse, Apple added a new Preview app, which lets you edit sketches, PDFs, and images. Users also have a Mac menu-like functionality to every iPad app. Finally, Apple Intelligence features are better than ever, with ChatGPT getting onscreen awareness, improved Image Playground and Genmoji features, in addition, to an AI-powered Shortcuts app. Alongside beta 3 of iPad's upcoming software update, Apple is also releasing the third testing versions of iOS 26, macOS Tahoe, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26. macOS Tahoe beta 3 now available as Apple readies the last update to Intel Macs

macOS Tahoe is one of the most important updates for the Mac to this date. A couple of weeks after seeding beta 2 to developers, Apple is now making available the third testing version. With the previous beta, Cupertino fixed bugs and battery issues, even though some users still complain about the Mac overheating. In addition, the previous testing version had a problem that made Safari tabs feel like they’re in reverse, which means the opened tab looks like the one you're not using and vice versa. With macOS Tahoe beta 3, Apple likely fixes that. That said, macOS Tahoe beta also marks the last big update to Intel Macs. The company announced this will be the last available version, five years after the company unveiled its first Macs with its proprietary chips. With that, the company is giving the last Intel Mac users a glimpse of the future of the company's computers. One of the main changes of macOS Tahoe beta is the new Liquid Glass design, as Cupertino makes the experience of using the iPhone, iPad, and Mac even more seamless. As the company improves Continuity features, Mac users get Live Activities support, a Phone app, the Journal app, the ability to manage unwanted calls, and more. macOS Tahoe is also setting the foundation for a brighter Siri. For example, the new Spotlight index everything on the Mac. This includes a clipboard containing everything you copied and pasted during the day. You can also use the Spotlight to take actions, such as summarize documents, create images, etc. All of that comes with Apple's AI-powered Shortcuts app. Regarding Apple Intelligence features, Apple improves Genmoji and Image Playground capabilities. The company is also adding Live Translation, and a better integration with ChatGPT with macOS Tahoe beta. Alongside macOS Tahoe beta 3, Apple is seeding the third testing versions of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26. watchOS 26 beta 3 now available with 6 new features

A couple of weeks after seeding watchOS 26 beta 2, Apple is now releasing its third testing version. At this moment, it's unclear what's new with this update. However, Cupertino is likely fixing bugs and improving battery life ahead of the fall release. In addition, Apple prepares the public beta of watchOS 26. If the company follows the trend, this version should be available in the next few days. Still, you shouldn't update to the public beta before reading this. That said, watchOS 26 also takes advantage of the new Liquid Glass design. While the visual changes are more subtle, Cupertino is improving some Watch Faces to use the maximum potential of the new Apple Watch Series 10 display. Unfortunately, so far, it seems watchOS 26 beta also removes loved Watch Faces, while it's still unclear if Apple plans to add new ones during this testing cycle. Besides that, the Smart Stack is now smarter, as it suggests information based on your location. Or, if you're without cellular connection, the Apple Watch can retrace your way back. A new wrist flick for Apple Watch Series 9 and newer makes it easier to dismiss notifications and go back to the Watch Face. Users just need to turn their wrist over and then back for that. Apple is also preparing interesting Apple Intelligence features that rely on an iPhone 15 Pro or newer. Two of the most important functions are: Live Translation: With an Apple Watch Series 9 and newer, you'll see Live Translation capabilities inside the Messages app, which means messages in an unknown language will be translated automatically to your preferred language. Workout Buddy: Apple added a new fitness experience that "generates personalized pep talks using voice data from an Apple Fitness+ trainer." The company wants to encourage users to challenge themselves based on the Health app data. BGR will let you know if we find new features with watchOS 26 beta 3. Alongside it, Apple released the third test versions of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26. tvOS 26 beta 3 brings these 7 improvements to Apple TV users

A month after Apple previewed tvOS 26 beta during the WWDC 2025 keynote, the company is now releasing its third test version. As it's been doing in the past few years, tvOS 26 is another packed update to Apple TV users, even though not every set-top box will get all the new capabilities. Still, tvOS 26 beta 3 brings the new Liquid Glass design for Apple TV users. While this design change isn't as profound as the ones seen on iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe, Apple is also adding it to its set-top boxes as the Apple TV gets "even more immersive, enjoyable, and convenient." This comes alongside a revamped Apple TV app, which now showcases cinematic poster art to make it easier to discover what to watch next. Apple also wants to make it easier for Apple TV users to log in to their apps when using tvOS 26. With a new API available to developers, Apple says it will be easier to sign in when setting up a new device. Besides that, tvOS 26 beta 3 continues to improve on profile switching. Previously, users sharing an Apple TV would have to proactively switch the profile to get personalized recommendations. Now, Apple will ask users to choose their profile before using the Apple TV, making the experience better for all family members. For those who love singing on their Apple TV, tvOS 26 beta 3 adds three great features: Lyrics Translation: You can understand the full meaning of a song that it's not on your native language. Lyrics Pronunciation: Do you want to sing your favorite K-Pop songs? this feature brings how you pronounce the words so you can bond even more with your favorite artists and albums. Apple Music Sing: With the latest Apple TV 4K, people can now use their iPhones as a handheld microphone. It's also possible to queue up songs with SharePlay and react with onscreen emoji. Alongside tvOS 26 beta 3, Apple is releasing the third test versions of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe, watchOS 26, and visionOS 26. We’ll let you know if we discover anything new with today’s releases. Apple releases visionOS 26 beta 3 with these new features

As the test cycle follows, Apple has just released visionOS 26 beta 3 to Apple Vision Pro. The second major software update since its release last year helps to mature the company's latest new marketing product. With lots of rumors regarding Apple Vision Pro roadmap through 2028 and the new features presented during the WWDC 2025 keynote, the company's spatial computer is surely getting a lot better this fall. For example, Apple is taking the Personas feature out of the beta with visionOS. The company says the “all-new Personas now have striking expressivity and sharpness, offering a full side profile view, and remarkably accurate hair, lashes, and complexion.” However, visionOS 26 beta 3 is not just about the new Personas. There are improved spatial experiences. These are the top three: Spatial Widgets: With them, you can place widgets in the real world. Every time you turn your Apple Vision Pro on, they'll remain where you placed them,. More interestingly, you can customize the widgets with different frames, width, color, and depth. Spatial Scenes: Combining a generative AI algorithm and computation depth, Spatial Scenes makes photos 3D, making even more immersive how you see your favorite pictures. Spatial Browsing: With Safari, visionOS 26 beta 3 lets users read articles by hiding distractions while even revealing spatial scenes from the photos of newspapers, in addition to native playback of 180 and 360-degree recordings. Shared Spatial Experiences: When two people are together with their own Vision Pro, they can watch a movie in 3D in the same digital space, play games, join a FaceTime call, and collaborate at work. Besides these features, visionOS 26 beta 3 also brings support for third-party accessories, including the PlayStation VR2 Sense controller. Alongside visionOS 26 beta 3, Apple also released the third test versions of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe, watchOS 26, and tvOS 26. BGR will let you know if we find anything different with these builds.
